It is pretty disheartening tbh. Im not gonna unsub, but thats a pretty sloppy screw up on blizz end lol
just shows that they dont know what their doing
Lmao
Yeah probably someone fuck up, and they noticed it too late
Meh its ptr
Imagine if they was on live already
Or they wanted to test it but it's buggy so turned it off
Weren't people having massive issues with soar or something
We're gonna get nerfed week 2
had 0 issues with envoker these past few weeks
It's not the everything aura, seems to mostly be rage spenders?
Ah. Still significant, although I think most tanks have had reasonable buffs this week
and afaik guardian were one of the lowest

Putting it under spoilers, even if this is the spoiler channel just in case, but maybe a scene of tuesday's cinematic? (Left side of the banner)
got my box today and well....it's well made and even the digital code was done very nicely and not just a paper in the box
are we even sure there is anymore cinematics? (not that i don't want to be wrong but it seems like that tells like almost everything we need to know before DF starts)
its speculated and rumored we're getting one this tuesday, plus in one of the beta builds there was a cinematic with the same name as the banner in the pic, or at least something close to it
well we are getting one Tuesday didn't they so as much i just meant the legacy type ones is all
let me see if i can find it
Oh the Legacies stuff? I believe they ended with this week
yeah, sorry that's what i thought you meant by cinematic lol
na my b! hahah
but i'm pretty sure there is one tuesday during the stream and blizzard has confirmed it somewhere
"This stream will also unveil the highly-anticipated Dragonflight launch cinematic."
Oh big i must've skipped through that then. Good to know then hahah
super late reply, but heres the tweet from terran gregory about it
ok
so this is the Dragons Take Flight Cinematic
the one thats been on the main menu since the RC build but unwatchable
cool
i hope its like 4+ min long
I wonder what it will show
Intro to the various factions, probably
we'll definitely have more on launch itself, too
I dont think so
i think this is a CGI trailer
They said the trailer would be a flyover of the dragon isles. It’s probably just gonna have dragon riders flying through the zones
In cgi ofc
Well, yes, but I mean in a cinematic way
not like a narrated video
but just showing them all off
giving them all a bit of time
Then that really might be it
Do hope its over 4mins like Peach said. Either way it'll be a treat
This is them really selling dragon riding
Does anyone have any news on when it might be created on PTR?
At this point it probably won't be until the 15th or far longer
😦 wowhead makes me sad
Is it just me, or does evoker feel very punishing in PvP? Did the testing yesterday of Evoker in battlegrounds. But for a squishy class, it comes so dangerously close to melee that you are easily tunneled and no amount of mobility will make up for that.
Yeah, it's totally punishing, despite our "mobility"
Guess Dracthyr will be my crafter. Will PvP on another character 😊
I will try to PVP on dracthyrs more but I think yes, it will be more PVE than PVP. ^^'
Preservation evoker atleast is considered S tier on beta, tho that’s just going off solo shuffles
Idk about devestation
will we be able to do torghast at level 10 in DF?
yeah hehe :3
I heard Guardian Druids got a 35% buff??
50%
Sorry bad phrasing
For all DPS abilities.
50% but only to some abilities
Yeah, 50 for the physical abilities
But OVERALL the buff's account to a 35% increase
It's a 50% boost of their aura affecting guardian abilities, so yeah, the physical ones and such.
Yeah it's enormous.
It's insane!
I mean, not Vengeance damage but now we got our tough boy viable now in all content
Hell druid now is probably the best class to use getting back into the game OR if you don't want to play alts
Druid is a comfortable class, yes! The boost seem insane but yes, it's just being viable in damage. x)
Oh absolutely. If Demon Hunter and Evoker don't work out for having a character on each faction, I got something to fall back on
Same for me, I will play evoker, but also druid, and maybe a third class.
How likely is it that nelves get to be shamans during this expansion? I mean, there's a nelf shaman
there's also a nelf paladin, and that's not happened for players either
since legion
Blizzard makes it sound like not too long from now every race can be every class
I was gonna main evoker for DF but it looks like it wont be good in PVP except for healing so now considering enhancement shaman but I would love to be a nelf shaman
nightborne druid
I still wanna know who voiced Emberthal, it sounds a lot like Caiatl from Destiny 2 lol
Apparently someone said Mary Elizabeth McGlynn is the lady that voices Emberthal
Uhhh... is this really intended? The blue version of the Raging Tempest set is specifically noted as not able to be transmogged?? All of the others appear to be.
hmm, weird
bug maybe
or it's meant for you to earn it in dragonflight since the set is reused I believe
oh wait, that's the level 70 gear
Took boat to SW, I don't think this is right
Excited to see this cinematic
Less than 60 sec if you aren’t watching
Wait - I thought Terran Gregory and the cinematic was the focus
Why is Holinka here
oh boy I love getting an ad and then the twitch audio bug
peak cinematic viewing experience
Ok - it was pretty but uh - a bit short
I hope we see more of Raszageth since they have a CGI model
I am fairly sure we will
maybe not at launch though
could have one in the evoker starting zone
Considering we don’t have the raszageth breaking out stuff
Or the cinematic tied to the raid
Or alexstraza vs raszageth at the mother oathstone
This guy has a very small head
And a very long neck
Poor dude
Sorry - I know it isn’t exactly relevant
This was a very short and honestly unnecessary stream
Could’ve just had the cinematic releases and that’s it
They didn’t even really talk about how they made it or anything
I hope we get long cinematics like in BfA
Eventually
i didn't dabble too much with dragonriding stuff. are those blue ice spikes something we can get for our dragon riding mount?
Yeah it felt really short
Currently i dont remember seeing any horns options like that, if thats what you mean
that was indeed the question lol
well, hopefully they are somewhere or get added those are nice.
ok what's short aloy doing in dragonflight 😆
you mean a standard lady dwarf?
Wildhammer is standard?
I mean they aren't an allied race so yessish
...yet
(tm)
i feel like we will be seeing more forums filled with "make wildhammer a playable race"
Wildhammer and ogres.
Ok but when horde getting short allied race. Gimme MerGoblin with swim speed passive
NO! Gemmi fish goblin!
Okay, I see the argument of "Rexxar is Mok'Nathal"
But basic ogres are just Moonkins.
Are the prices for crafting orders set by the person requesting the item?
Like, I want X and will pay Y?
Theres probably haggling involved
i think so but that doesn't mean it will get picked up by anyone if you lowball them
unless someone agrees to take what you wanna pay
I dont think you interact with the person. You post the order and it gets filled or it doesnt
then i guess if you lowball it just does a doesnt
The requestor supplies the basic mats too, so I am curious to see how it plays out
If they are only paying for the "craft" itself, I am not sure it will be as big of a gold maker as some thing. It's like "tipping" an enchanter or rogue when they open a lockbox
You arent factoring in how the new crafting works
you can supply things you don't have to. unless it was changed it's pretty much you offer what you can/or want to and then pay the price and add a tip
someone has to specialize in what you want made as well
meaning they focused on that one branch of the tree
so you will be dealing with some considered "niche" branches
I guess it's my lack of understanding
I am having one hell of a time deciding what profs to take
I keep hearing how crafted gear can reach mythic raid level, but I have to believe it's going to be EXTREMELY difficult/time-gated to get gear anywhere near that ilvl
but then with how "alt friendly" the expansion is, a lot of alts will want to up their ilvl quick
I just don't want to regret my time investment
Im doin alch and jeweler on my dracthyr
Im not rich enough to do profs that require spending gold to level
I am probably going to main Shaman, so I am thinking Skin/LW, that will let me make some good gear to help speed up my ilvl increases. There will be tons of evokers/hunters wanting gear made and LW can make the special crafted gear to increase crafting stats.
But my Sham is dark iron so I feel like I should go Min/BS because I can make weapons, crafted gear for crafting, plate armor and then hopefully just use crafting orders to buy the gear I need
but I don't know if that +5 blacksmithing really makes any difference
i think choosing a profession has me more stressed than choosing a main
Ill have to do some more research on crafting orders, maybe that will help me decide
Just run dungeons to supplement gear upgrading. Is that not the way of it anymore?
You are supposed to be able to get raid equivalent gear via crafting in DF
making crafted gear relevant throughout the expansion
yeah but you get the stuff to craft said gear in the raids no?
Thats cool but if you are so worried about which crafter to do then just do the raid for the same ilvl
The point is options
That's my assumption, I refuse to believe it's obtainable in any meaningful way. Like how rep gear works that is a high ilvl. By the time you reach the required rep to buy it, it's too low ilvl to matter
probably takes like 10 weeks to make 1 item at the same ilvl as raid
if not longer
it's like "oh dang i didn't win any gear but i got the "dragon orb" (probs akin to the frozen orb of WotLK) to get a crafter to make me something"
Im just going to degen for the first few weeks, trying to be efficient so I dont waste my time off
When will the maintenance end?
Mythic gear is gated only by content difficulty and how long it takes to get 100 artisan's mettle
You can upgrade a piece to mythic after 10 keys 18+ I think
The heroic items drop from 12s
Mythic crafted is like 408-415 depending on crafter skill
It's scheduled to end in about 2 and a half hours.. Expect delays, though.
gay
I was going to jump on you, then remembered it's you and okay. 😁
I will not, do not worry. 😁
Pounce
=UwU=
Yo
The storm unleashed cinematic?
Fantastic
Razsageth being the youngest of 4 is a huge deal
It means the primalist threat isn’t a one patch thing
But we will get a mount with her at the end of the first raid lol
Very sus that she is done in first patch
anyone else finding nozdormu's new voice actor kinda weird
both his and kalec's sounded incredibly off in the khadgar cinematic
it wasnt some filter thing cause wrathion and alexstrasza sounded fine
Don't worry, it will be merely a setback and she'll be back
theres a model
it's a new voice actor I think
beforehand he just sounded like old nasally wise guy
whereas now his voice is kinda boomy
and imposing
mans gonna eat the earth?
it's interesting with all the primalist stuff being about the elements literally bestowing them with this power
because obv we're getting this new perspective on the titans and azeroth
but azeroth was on our side in BFA (we think?)
if azeroth is at core more elemental than we first thought and is literally bestowing power to people to help get rid of the titans that could be an interesting plotline?
like what if part of the first ones design was keeping azeroth asleep whilst they injected her with order magic
but jailer interrupted that, sucked out a bunch of order magic in his fight
cracked the design
so now there's just a raw, hurt, elemental azeroth down there who just wants to break out
As we've learned before, world souls have a lot of spirit which coincidentally makes elementals stronger and more violent.
If Azeroth is waking more spirit may mean more power for the elementals. Plus despite them helping us at various points in cata and legion, they're still very much not a friend.
It was hited that Azeroth was so powerful that absorb spirit (the thing that keep elements in balance) but she its seems cant control elements properly
Azeroth awakening, and elements with her, and this is why Primalists are on the move again, but she surely dont want this Primalists to kill us, Who saved her multiple times
Still waiting for plot line about Black dragons and Azeroth connection
I find it funny how even in just the prepatch and just being the 1st raids boss, raszageth feels more intimidating than the jailer ever was
I guess it's because of a knock on effect of the scaling?
Jailer's goal was to literallly unmake everything, so we know though through media literacy that that won't happen, not to mention that jailer was largely not present, just chilled in the back for most cutscenes
but raszageth's goals seem just plausible to somehow have an actual consequence
like I could imagine her freeing the other incarnates, killing a major character, causing some severe damage, etc
oh, I always get that backwards, my bad
I mean - I’m pretty sure since we have a model for the earth one
The others will be freed
I hope it's not just one a season
I'm guessing more likely season 2 is the other 3
unless the earth one digs under the water
I think the other 3 will be 10.1 or 10.2
Maybe we fight the other 3, kill 2, one leads into the next patch somehow
i hope they free one and they are like "naw i don't want any part of this"
Ties into murozond stuff
They definitely do though
oh for sure
but i think it would be funny
but being imprisoned for decades is likely to lead to wanting revenge
Last boss area makes way more sense in the context we now have
4 platforms, each different colors
So I think we might get to actually see them released as the end raid cinematic
blue, red, yellow, and mix?
Can anyone log on and take pictures of the dungeon journal for the raszageth fight?
Didn’t realize it was mixed
which part?
Main blurb and also general abilities
Wanna see if there are hints about those incarnates
naw alex noz and kelc will be part of the fight
hence red blue and yellow
would be my guess rather
oh yeah it does
I swear we've seen those names before
Each of the other 3 have 3 npc models and an “imprisoned” model
So I think it’s guaranteed they all break free
Plus I was right - the elements match the platforms
Earth fire and ice
The incarnates have unique models too
They’re not reusing the other new primal drakes
So 100% getting out
No reason for unique models otherwise
Iridikron is probably gonna dig too deep
Iridikron is probably how we end up underground
It's kinda funny how obvious there's something in the water west of the plains
Hold up
So There Will be no book about the time skip?
They will not probably
It was always was a book
And we actually having a book about dragonflight, but its 2023
And no book about what happned in time-skip?
Really weird
I will be surpsrise if they will put cutscenes/dialogs what happned in time skip in game
There was a prequel novel listed for a short while
It seems that it got cancelled
So yeah, no expansion bridging novel.. for the expansion that probably could've used it the most.
Would've been nice for a prequel to explore the Primalists, the Incarnates, the young Aspects, the Dragon Wars, etc.
Also the 5 year time skip.
Stuff the game doesn't necessarily need. Just more context and back story about these new characters and factions etc.
It’s only 3 years
Not 5
Shadowlands takes place over 2 years
Then there’s 3 years of nothing
Shadowlands also has the world logically progressing though haha
outside of Tirisfal we know nothing about what happened to the world in the wake of prepatch
Just like when we left to another world during Warlords.. or TBC.. most expansions really
The world literally pauses when we leave!
don't overthink the time. It passes fairly arbitrarily
nearly all the story is not quite logically consistent if you try and fit game mechanics into it
Well thats more the point, outside of one race, we don't know what anyone has been up to for five years now, in the wake of a worldwide undead invasion, it would have been nice to get something informing us
beyond "hey theres a wedding" lol
😦 crafted gear more timegated than I thought
i think it makes sense
its a piece you can guarantee to be exactly what you want
except you're just gonna make weapons or certain embellished items since it can't become tier
tier bonus slots just became largely useless til you get your 4p
ptr and retail patching, woo
guessing hotfixes
oh wow, reclaimed 4gb
it's 30 builds past what we got on tuesday, curious to see hotfixes
I will say that there is an unprecedented amount of encrypted narrative content in Dragonflight that no one has ever seen, and it is going to blow some minds in the weeks to come! There are multiple endgame narrative chapters and endgame campaigns that are available at level 70 that were not available on Beta. We have dozens of cutscenes that you’ll be seeing, so look forward to all of that!
Why am I being called an "ogre"? Are we going to have a new allied race??
Unless she's trying to offend my blood elf,
I think it's just a gag that they don't quite know the differences between races yet
Cindre mentions it earlier when you first meet up for the prepatch quests
Ahhh, okay, that's frigging hillarious then.
there's another conversation in Valdrakken between Cindre and Azurathel where they question what a gnome is, and talk about not being able to tell the difference between various elf forms that dragons take on
Lmao 😂
I’m so glad they did this cause I’m doing it with rp
I came across a Dwarf and just referred to it as “That thing”
Guys I have a question - are there any glyphs for Evokers on Alpha / Beta? If so, what are they?
No glyphs yet!
I would love something akin to the green fire in Pandaria, tinting all the spells towards one particular dragonflight visually.
Not just evokers
Every class
Give me life fire mage
Give me bronze arcane
Blue dragon frost spells for shaman
Shaman could have 2 cool identity ss actually
Primalist style abilities
And dragon caretaker, replace totems with eggs
eh
Bronze paladin
Blizzard said they're scared of PvP clarity
They Just dont want to balance it
Does anyone know what, if anything, +skill does for gathering professions in DF?
Makes your skill higher? Which increases the stats for professions
It does what it did before essentially. Higher skill = higher base profession stats
Hmm
Base stats increase the quality of what you gather/the chance to gather Higher quality materials
I am looking at the specializations and trying to decide what route I am going to go. To me stuff like Perception/Finesse are important for more materials, but there's also paths that give +skill.
All paths give +skill at a minimum
Well
Every point in a spec gives a small amount
And I’m pretty sure there’s still a cap
So once you reach max skill, you reach it I think
Haven’t paid a ton of attention
Profs are going to make my head explode
For gathering - focusing on the rare reagents is more important
I am thinking about going for the specialization path that lets you increase quality of materials
They’re hard to get a good amount of otherwise, especially for stuff like skinning where specific types of enemies have specific drops you can skin
Honestly worthless imo
Getting gold quality baseline isn’t that hard with good gear
using quality 1 materials?
Diamond I haven’t seen and I guess that path would help
Why bother though?
Like you are spending spec points on a thing that requires you to be gathering lots of a bad thing
Higher quality materials make it easier to craft higher quality items, which means better stats
When you’ll only be gathering silver or higher materials by max skill without good gear
With good gear you can regular get tier 3 materials when gathering
Hmm
Having stuff that increases the rare drops like with leather working will net you more money
IE getting horns off the vorquin or the rare scales and furs
dang, back to square one. this shit is stressing me out, don't want to waste the time upfront choosing a bad path
There are profession guides on wowhead
You can literally fully unlock all the paths eventually
If you want to make money - rare materials day 1
If you want to craft good stuff yourself, anything that directly increases the quality of what you gather
The pathway that allows you to upgrade low tier to high tier is bad
You need 10 of the previous tier to make 1 of the next if I remember right
It’s terrible
Well thats good to know
I've been considering using two characters. One with Skinning/Mining the other with BS/LW and use one to feed the other materials.
But I’m pretty sure gatherables only go to tier 3, so once you can reliably gather gold quality, it’s shit
Not a bad idea, but a lot of work
A lot of the end game profession knowledge comes from treasures and dailies or weeklies and stuff like that
So that’s a lot of work
The intention here is that most people won’t be able to do everything for quite a while which means making money and being useful will be easier
Im just super unsure of what to do. I want to make gold, but also want to be able to make gear. I can't figure out how to decide.
If I took Skinning/Mining I could also feed materials to crafters via work orders to get what I need
Since most good recipes are locked behind 18 renown, my main could unlock rep bonuses for my crafter
Skinning and leather working is solid
Mining and jewelcrafting
Herbalism and alchemy
You want to go with the most direct matches
Blacksmithing i THINK relies on mining and some of skinning
Yeah I know the conventional combinations, but I worry I will make the "wrong" choice and miss out on X
I feel like materials will be valuable upfront and only once people start unlocking renown recipes will crafted gear(excluding tools) be super valuable
enchanting and DE purples is always good money if you are getting purples you don't need
Cause the base level of crafted gear is lower than normal dungeons, so it isn't going to be that good
Every time I think I have a decision locked in, I find something out that sends me back to square one 😄
Getting titan matrixes isn’t hard
The level 1s and 2s can come from WQs and treasures
I think 3s come from Heroics and 4s from Mythics
ok I wasnt sure about those, I only saw them in the dungeon journal
But I’m not sure
1s are common
2s uncommon
3s rare
4s epic
I’ve gotten 1-3 2s on beta without running instanced content
Maybe I should just go back to my original plan of either Skin/LW or Min/BS
I’ve gotten 10+ 1s in the same time
There's a lot of folks going Herb/Mining for easy money. I don't see Mining/Skinning being much different
And with work orders, you don't even technically NEED a crafter
I think they’re overestimating how much stuff will be worth
The other weird thing to me with the crafting orders is the person requesting it sets the commission. So if people are always doing the lowest amount, will it be that worthwhile
You're heavily timegated on good stuff
the generic +skill is probably the best, although it's possible specialising in one of the elemental thingies for more rousings will be better if that's what the bottleneck is
One piece every 2 weeks is very slow progress
you can always just refine ore to higher qualities at least
And blizzard basically killed half the armor specializations
Yeah the timegating to me is going to make crafters less profitable until later on
And the artisans mettle is going to timegate a lot as well
Pretty much weapons, trinkets, and a couple offset slots like boots, wrists, and belts will be useful but those slots will also have a ton of competition
That's the other uncertainty, how actually good will the crafted gear with different effects be. Or will it all be bad compared to raid/m+ gear
It's really unfortunate blizzard killed tier bonus slots
Embellishments are like 1-2% but people have done more for less than that before
not just the embellishments
the actual armor with different effects
like the JC items that give you increase X based on the number of Y gems
or the leatherworking gear with procs
With the exception of the neck gems, all those other things are embellishments
hmm, maybe i misread, let me see
The boot procs for example count toward your two embellishments
ok yeah, glad you said that
so its not as interesting as i thought
Hopefully I can come up with a way to decide
They buffed some
The only one I really like is the mail armor one that's a rune of reorigination effect
Probably just gonna run that with a toxic patch
The leather ones all kinda sucked
The other thing I am not looking forward to with crafting is keeping track of the prices of materials to determine whether or not a crafting order is worth it.
Cause you know people will be lowballing as much as possible for crafts
I thought a video I watched recently mentioned for some recipes you can do partial materials
But that also makes the argument for choosing two gathering professions and just paying commissions for the gear I want
The first quest once DF launches is on the zepp tower where the prepatch event vendor is right? So we will want to be there when launch happens?
I think for horde it’s on top of Garrosh hold or whatever is where the old bank used to be.
I remember during the beta doing the quests we have now and then having to fly back there to “watch” a cutscene before going back to the zeppelin area
Hmm ok, I just copied a char over from Beta and it sent me to the zepp tower like the quest we got for the prepatch event then onto the zepp to the isles
Hmmm strange maybe they moved that cutscene then
I am doing a bunch of beta testing to prep for launch so I will try again and see what it does. Just want to try and be exactly where I need to be for launch day.
More that I think the cutscenes you speak of we're doing now in prepatch
Hopefully everyone being funneled into the same zone doing the same quests all at the same time wont be TOO terrible
Maybe? It was the ebonhorn/Wrathion cutscenes and they moved them to where they are now? But the khadgar one didn’t need to be moved just not put in
One good thing about being on a mildly dead server, hopefully the phasing isnt too bad
wish it was next week 😦
It shouldn’t be
The zones are huge
Right, but everyone starts in the same spot and follows the same initial quests
If these Primal Invasions aren't an issue, highly doubt quest zones will be
have people already discussed how the dragons don't talk when they talk now?
not sure how I feel about it
since dragons used to talk with their mouths, but now they just emote while staring at eachother
and being telepathic
it would probably look goofier if somebody like raszageth tried to use her mouth to talk just because of how that thing looks but
it just seems strange to me
maybe they ARE telepathic lol
i mean, dragons are dragons. don't most dragons depicted in shows and movies never move their mouths/jaws when talking to the lesser races
The primal events crashed several servers yesterday or just completely stopped working. Launch day bottlenecks wouldn't be anything new for a wow expac
didn't Smaug "talk" without moving his mouth?
Nah he speaks with his mouth, at least in the movie iterations
its not an inherently bad concept, FFXIV does it great
its more just a "why are they choosing to do this now when dragons have spoken with their mouths for 18 years prior"
Dracthyr do move their mouths so it's quite jarring when dracthyr and dragons are speaking in the same cinematic, having quite similar heads and facial features, but one moves their mouth and the other doesn't
👀
Is there any way to see what each renown rank gives for each of the four factions?
yes
theres a button
Is it just on the beta up on the minimap?
And you scroll through the ranks like in SL?
yeah, it's similar to the covenant button, you unlock it on the first quest after getting off the boat in the dragon isles
Ok, so you have to go through quests to see it?
The max chars on the valdrakken server can't see it or anything?
dont think so?
that server is for M+/raid and crafting testing
Dang, I was trying not to spoil the quests and stuff yet.
you can see the rewards on valdrakken
is there something in particular you want to see?
Damn those are huge nerfs
They keep bouncing back and forth with those
It was pretty nutty getting 12% crit from 3 gems and a scribe rune
How much Crit was the Scribe rune by itself?
it's gonna suck if they dont introduce new higher ranked stuff later on
cause then those stats are just gonna be worthless in late tiers for being so low
The higher the ilvl, the better your stats need to be to keep it at that rank
IE if you have a legendary ilvl 390 pair of pants, and you want to upgrade it to 416 or something, you will need to be more skilled when recrafting, or it will drop to diamond or gold
guys I need a specific information about beta, if you don't give me this info I will be forced to offer you a free level boost from 50 to 60 so you better do it
I need to know if you can get xp in the range of 60 to 70 ( dragonflight's range ) while party synced in old xpac's zones
i'd say no? could you do that while SLs was the main expansion to get to 50-60?
I tried and it worked, but when I did we were in later patches, not on release of SL
I want to know if it will work on release
Per our conversation yesterday I believe, the ratio for material upgrades (at least quality 1 > 2) is 5 to 1 now
Still not good
Eh?
I wonder if that means the bait crafter is better for something like skinning than tanning since tanning focuses entirely on quality upgrades
yeah my server is dead
cant even logout
servers just keep crashing over and over, still beta testing
how do we make so a bug gets high prio to blizzard?
The number of reports it gets would be my guess but nothing you an individual would be able to flag.
get archvaldor to post it
archveldor posts exploits people can take advantage of
I'd like blizz to fix the damn chromie time dungeon drops
it's been basically a week they all drop level 30 items independently from your level
it's stupid and I'm pretty sure it's affecting a big portion of players
It's not like nothing is being fixed or worked on. There is a priority system and unfortunately there are more pressing bugs that need to be looked at, as tempting as it is to take care of some low hanging fruit kind of bugs
Blizzard abandoned the wedding scene of Thalysra and Lor'themar because of the wedding plot between Thrall and his wife (I forgot the name sorry)
And it Will be a little story
What do you think which key level you will achieve in week 1? Even the top m+ players are currently having a hard time on the beta server 🙂
if you got infinite time to grind you can get higher than the 392 that beta players currently have
415ish will be the cap in 10.0, I think? 20 ilvls is quite a lot
think its 422 depending on if you have the super rare items from raid
Probably like 6 or 7 M+ tiers higher just from the ilvl bump, I think
or wait, bit less now it scales more above.. 10 or whatever it was
4-5, maybe
The top ilvl dropped in keys season one is 408, you'll be able to craft 1-2 pieces of 408-418 gear if you can complete 16s and of course any loot you get from heroic or mythic. People will be much higher than our current 392 testing ilvl.
wait
is this the first time we've seen that scene of Alexstraza and Razageth fighting?
Dragons have returned to Azeroth, but as the land begins to heal a new threat rises. The time has come to take to the skies in World of Warcraft: Dragonflight, available November 28 at 3:00 p.m. PST.

yes
Blizzard "leaking" their own cinematics haha
i mean, is it a leak if they release it?
It's a hype trailer. It's spoilering a bit on purpose, like preannounce leaks.
Is a launch test is happening?
Tomorrow I think?
But they didnt say anything about 22
Only about 21
Very weird
Maybe it was today, idk I thought they were testing it on reset day
Closed testing then?
Yeah it was tested and launch test servers must be shuted down atm
But I didnt See any stream about launch test lol
delayed 3 hours, starts in maybe half an hour ish
I guess we'll fight Iridikron in the future
i wonder what covenants will be in dragonflight
There won't be new ones. And the old ones will remain abandoned, because why bring the afterlife into the world of the living?
Tho we do get some abilities as talents depending on your spec
Like warriors getting spear, mm getting razor pouch, monk with bdb, fae stomp and WoO
Which spec got Weapons of Order? Hol' up, the plot thickens.
Brewmaster, right?
WoO would be too OP on WW with Windlord and Thunderfist.
Ik brew gets it
I am curious to see if they'll expand the talent tree horizontally with new class fantasy next xpac
E.g if we're getting a light and void xpac, fire might get some light themed talents, arcane some voidy azshara esque abilities
Or if its an expansion centering around a certain place, like say, an updated outland
Taking inspiration from the factions there
Like how gw2 does things
Doesn't have to be much either, can just be a few themed skills that adjust a playstyle
Could definitely see arcane meaning more into instability and magic surges
Fire maybe getting a superheat for their ignite
Imagine an old style surrender to madness for fire lol
Extending combust with crits but when it runs out you get a consequence
Warriors get somewhat of a berserk style, bleeding out but getting stronger
Corruptions were a cool idea, give bonuses at a cost but their acquisition was terrible
does drathyr gets a dragon to ride him? or you use the soar and the soar gets upgraded
Both, but I believe soar is limited at some point. IE you won’t be using soar in dragon racing instead of your mount
here is dragon racing?
As Dracthyr you'll be using your dragon in your Visage form. Soar is super limited
i hate visage and i wish it as removed or atleast i could change into a tauren like ebonhorn
At least you can keep in dracthyr form H24.
i wonder if jog saron will be a part of dragonflight... hes the reason that aspects were created cause he made the galakrond
The exploring northrend book says his madness and whispers can still be heard and felt in the Halls of Ulduar
Yeah, that does not surprise me... After all, Pandaria was a proof one old god can still influence after its death. :/
In the beta, we have some artefacts whispering voices onto dracthyrs players and starting to mind controlling them.
And a "void gazer" NPC
In dragonflight, do mining and herb nodes disappear when theyre mined/herbed? Or can other people loot them for a few minutes before they despawn?
nodes/herbs have been instanced since like legion
Yeah, but with the revamps to profs, I wasnt sure if they changed that
Not afaik
interesting
although I'm guessing a .0.5 isn't anything really noteworthy in terms of content
it's probably those "soon after launch" features they talked about
so mage tower for example
It could have some story content too if they're aiming for more of a legion pacing, an in between story that leads to 10.1 but who knows until it's on PTR. Regardless it's a good sign that 10.1 will be only 6-7 months away
Interesting...
I hope that patches will be happening sooner and not every 6-7 mounth
Or even a year
Pray we get no selfie patches again. xD
Why not? Blizz said they want to bring our more content. Not every paych has to have earthshattering stuff
I'd rather, if they have an idea, put it into the game in a smaller patch
Don't wait 6 months to give us a patch with a bunch of smaller things
That's something ppl don't realize about WoD and the "selfie" patch. Blizz stated they were wanting to go back to an older patch format where not every patch was a new season of content, but perhaps an injection of smaller stuff. But due to the massive backlash due to misunderstanding what Blizz was attempting, Blizz changed focus
I want them to add patches more often, which just have content that can be done before the mass patch, just to keep the players busy
Many other games do this. And then after shadowlands and bfa, there is no desire to play grind at all
Not what I meant by "no selfie patch again"
Just have more content, in general.
Give attention to events, make weeklies more interesting.
Then don't say Selfie patch. The Selfie patch was meant to be a return to smaller patches that introduced smaller content
And how'd that go?
Due to the community not understanding, horribly. But thankfully, Ion said they want to do more frequent, smaller patches where they can put out the ideas they have more frequently rather than bundling it all in a big patch every 6 months
On the Beta you need to level up a character from 60 to 70 to be able to freely explore the Dragon Isles?
nope
I dunno if there is a level requirement to get dragon riding but as soon as you get that you can get the glyphs and then talent that out and be just as free as a lvl 70
but you won't have WQs and you'll still only have the linear story progression. it won't be as free as stated above
I thought "explore" meant look around, not do WQs or progression lol
level by gathering only!
like a real explorer
here was one crazy insane pandaren that got to max lvl withouth laving the starting zone lol
Are there any good write ups on how dragonriding talents work and how they're unlocked, etc?
there's a dragon glyphs addon for handynotes
yeah found that too
Thats isnt something special to this expansion tho 😛 always happens
They've been spawning nodes in this game for 18 years you'd think they've it perfected by now
4 days until release and massive fps issues
Honestly I haven’t had any fps issues all beta
I have some (occasional) stuttering
hey guys question about dragonflight prof stats like deftness if i have both gathering profs do the prof stats carry over ? like herbing to mineing ?
No, gear is unique to professions, and all the profession knowledge stuff is also specific to its profession
ah kk thanks
disabling the shader cache to disk setting corrected my FPS hitching
there is no borrowed power
so only covenants to farm?
no
4 zones so 4 reps then?
Yes but its optional content
meaning: you don't HAVE to do it to do other end games things like raids/mythic+
so what will be for grinding?
theres more than 4 reps, but 4 major factions
hmm
professions are really the only grindy thing
but again its optional
well i will be getting skinning and leatherworking on my main
sounds like a solid plan
there is!
in monday i will be grabbing 12month sub 😄
well 4 mounts 25Euro each in the bundle tho and 2 months free looking at 3 month sub
worth it
also i wonder if here will be just more points for talents or one additional row
Just more points.
5 points per tree
10lvl and 5 per side?
Yeap ^
Maybe a silly question, but how do I do that? Graphics Card option? (I have a Nvidia)
also will here be glyphs for drathyr/evoker?
cant find anything on the wowhead beta about the evoker glyphs or i search wrong
I.. don't think Evokers have any Glyphs?
Evoker glyphs what? Maybe you ment dragon glyphs?
There aren't any.
that sucks :C
They didn’t add any new glyphs
They don’t like the glyph system
They’re likely working behind the scenes on some kind of replacement
Or will just dump it like they did Archaeology
hasn't it been hinted Archaeology is getting a rework here soon
It's a /console command in WoW. If you're not stuttering on the Retail version you should be fine at launch
Ah, ty for clarifying. I have some (occasional) stuter in retail.
A replacement for glyphs would be cool
unfortunately, at least publicly, they seem to be against cosmetic changes to spells for PvP clarity's sake now lol
Just bring back Pre-Legion Glyph system
Nah
Yes
Those were pretty boring. You put in once and forgot
Talents fit that better in the modern game.
They enhanced the way you played your spec
O.o Uhhh oookay
Unless there's major glyphs I forget about, none were super impactful.
Or are things that were eventually made baseline
A lot were super impactful
Different glyphs could completely change what build you take
Eh, you just took the best one and never thought about it again
Not really
I remember glyphs, I can't remember swapping them much if at all.
There's nothing glyphs did that talents can't do
And arguably glyphs would be worse now
Since there's so much less baseline now that you have to talent in
Would glyphs affect talented abilities?
In that case it impacts the talent system and just enforces a build
Guys, when do you get to train professions on the dragon isle? Thinking of my gathering profs when starting leveling
But if it only affects your base abilities, there's not much room
nvm, forgot about the beta section on the site.
This will be so much fun with the revamped profs
There are some cosmetic glyphs (the only ones now :D) who affect talents, for example, one change the minion type of Raise Dead (it is not a baseline ability for Frost DK)
Glyphs as spell cosmetics should stay
They work as a standardised system for it
Not saying don't overhaul it though
We should get a page for glyphs and spell cosmetics
And if they're worried about pvp, just put an option to disable enemy spell cosmetic
So that you only see the base effect when enemies use it
This 100%
We already have visual disabled on our side for some spells, like lunar strike.
yup
It’s not flying - it’s dead and mounted on the wall XD
That’s why it’s only the front half
Wings resemble the Slyverns in the zone. Here's to hoping there's a full model somewhere. It's clearly mounted. That was pretty obvious from the screenshots. Captain Obvious.
It doesn’t have wings
It has small fins like all of the Draconic creatures do
A mount model already exists
It’s tameable too I believe
Definitely can’t fly
It’s a cat
and a flying rat
is there any different dialogues that happen if you do the 60-70 quests on Dracthyr vs others?
does anyone know if the titan training matrix at the end of dungeons are tradeable to others in the group?
So think we get 10.0.5 before Christmas on ptr?
don't see why they wouldn't be, should work like every other drop in a dungeon
The 10.0.5 can be launch stuff
It's most likely for the artifact enchants and other things
Nah, if it was launch stuff they'd just hotfix it in
And we already know tomorrow's resets are just an hour long
It's not gonna be a big patch but it'll bridge the gap between launch and 6.1
We have tons of things that encrypted and will be available Only on launch
It can be 10.2 patch and we 100% will not See it before christmas
The 10.0.2 stuff is already in game. 10.0.5 is something different and it'd make sense to be on ptr soon if 10.1 has to be on ptr in February or so
Expansion isn't even launched and already worrying about what's next 🤣
inb4 "i've played the beta who cares about 10.0" 😂
And they said they're doing smaller patches, with stuff like mage tower or whatever. People are 100% complain when they do a fun small patch with meaningless content that has no new power gain
Just like people are going to complain that there's nothing to do at 70 because there's no infinite grind
infinite grind in game
"oh this is so bad game its feels like work and not game this is bad"
blizzard removing this thing from the game
"ohhhhhhhh what must we do the game is bad There nothing do now"
Just enjoy the game
Here I am just hoping at some point in the PTR or something they add mage tower of evokers >.> because a lot of weapons are kinda ass compared to those artifact weapon skins 😂. Hopefully it’s some cool armor
Does anyone happen to know if the 30 daily craft order limit is per character or per profession? meaning if i have two tradeskills do i get 60
im sure it's 30 per char, but want to confirm
not sure if i had to wager a guess it's per character but i'm following for info now too lol
we can't even see 2 handers in combat so I'm meh on that
it's been per profession on beta so far
Regarding work orders
no chance they add evoker mage tower
that would set a precedent of adding new ones for each new class in the future
and considering you need a high level character to play evoker
you would already be aware of the reason for this (hopefully)
plus theyre not going to design 16 new weapon skins for a class where you cant see the weapons
most would settle for just one appearance or armor set
depends on your timezone
it's 3pm pst, 6pm est
They added torghast powers, legion stuff, BFA essences(?), Shadowlands bs systems, so why not Mage tower?
even if it was generic
The chance of us getting a new class is VERY low for the next good while
and to your last point: druids

did they add legion stuff and BfA essences for evokers? I only saw torghast and SLs stuff and well...that's because there would be 2 weeks time were that's the "endgame" until DF comes out so they needed something but to go back to expansions of the past would be silly.
I think all legion got is a quest board in dalaran proper
The thing for choosing which zone to quest in
P sure that's it
mage tower's a bit different in that it's balanced around sets of classes with similar mobility and utility roles, Evoker doesn't really have a comparable class to their type of combined mobility and self healing
Good point! I guess we will see what happens when/if it returns
the legion stuff they added is generic; I didn't really play when essences were a thing but looking at my HoA I don't see anything evoker specific
when do i unlock this drake? i know its in azure span but can i choose the zones like in legion or i need to follow an questline like in shadowlands?
You will get it naturally during the main questline.
so its not like legion to choose an zone you want first?
correct
Correct, yes!
that stinks
I think on an alt you can do whatever in any order
you get all 4 drakes by the time you finish the story
Anyone know whats the average estimate of Dragonflight lvling from 60-70? Approx 6 hours if you go 'slow'?
Record is like 3 hours
Kk thanks
this might be the lowest SEO interest I've ever seen for a WoW expansion
Well, ledies and gentelments
Today we going to have a bunch of New cinematics and cutscenes and also New quests that was blocked in beta
Aye
The following pieces and their composer(s) are in this video:
0:00:00 - The Isles Awaken by Jake Lefkowitz, Glenn Stafford, David Arkenstone & Jason Hayes
0:12:15 - Dragon Isles by Neal Acree, Jake Lefkowitz
0:17:16 - Dragon Hunters by Jake Lefkowitz
0:22:33 - The Dragon's Hoard by David Arkenstone, Jake Lefkowitz
0:27:23 - Ramparts of Valdrakk...

it's almost time to see how many people take the wrong boat
start a massive queue at the wrong dock
lol alliance
horde smort we take airboat
do we only get one ofthe ragons or can we get all four?
one of the dragons8
fuck english
do i need four alts to get all of them?
OMG that first alexstraza raszageth rendered cutscene
so good
really puts into perspective how strong raszageth is
oh man and the followup
theyre using the new tech with the rendered models in world
i love that theyre reusing that tech
this cutscene has the same fancy tech
they did it for sabellian!
man i hate sabellian even more
what a douche
dont remember them adding this - more teleports are good
Neither of them are great personality wise lmao
Wrathion has shipping potential so he wins for me.
Is not all quest are available right now? I mean the ones that for dracthyr and forbiden reach
Also wrathion going to be an Aspect no doubt
Remember his New model? Its his New Aspect model
This is why blizz encrypted it back
What an opsie
Eh not sure, his new model is barely different, it's basically just an uprezzed version of his BFA one
I imagine that when he becomes Aspect, he'll use a dragon model, rather than a drake model.
Then why its still not in the game?
Chromie is a dragon, but using drake mount model
Can be the same for wrathion
Cause he is young
Just gonna be biger in size
Because he's not an Aspect yet
Probably for 10.1 or later
🙄
sabellian is a dickhead I'll give you that, I was thinking I'd vote wrathion but
sabellian also just has his shit together more
and it's true what he says that he's the only black dragon who has other black dragons following him
wrathion just has a bunch of rogues and a couple drakonid
and wrathion is also mighty brash
also sabellian bringing up a good point of "adventurers and wrathion just killed my brothers and sisters instead of trying to help their madness"
also I'm still in shock that they've just let wrathion go without being charged with anything really
the man was nearly responsible for the worlds destruction as well as interfering with justice and other stuff
people who are mad about sylvanas getting away with a light sentence but approve of wrathions story kinda hypocritical
Ehhh? Wrathion didn’t commit genocide. He messed up but in the end it all worked out. He was also like the only reason we killed N’zoth and freed the Black Dragonflight from the Old Gods
Have you done the DF quests?
I mean I finished the zone
I've just arrived at the city
I never said wrathion commited genocide
just saying he's been responsible for a lot of shit, and they're kind of backwardly trying to make it seem like he's just "doing it for the greater good" meme
I think one I saw was that they've changed the justification from "he wanted the iron horde to defeat the legion" to "he wanted there to be a war to make the factions stronger"
but at the same time
he's the reason the legion even invaded so soon
and he didn't even show up to help
despite his goal being to defend the planet from the legion apparently
so lets look at wrathion's current track record
hunted down and killed what he thought was his entire flight instead of seeking to aid them or detain them
freeing a prisoner of war who was using the power of the old gods, something that his own family have suffered from
causing an invasion of azeroth from AU draenor
and attached to that is the legion invasion
and then he didn't even help in legion
sure he helped with nzoth, but the nzoth was arguably only freed BECAUSE of the legion invading
so again if we follow the chain
in part his fault
and knowing wrathion there was probably some selfishness in the whole nzoth thing because he gets to brag about how unlike deathwing he is by not going mad
I think if he wants to get on a better path, he should bring the outcasted dragons into the black dragonflight
the void dragons from 8.3
and any others he can find
don't get me wrong I like wrathion as a character, but we can't gloss over that the shit he's done is borderline evil at times
and his intentions aside, he "oopsied" a legion invasion that killed varian, vol'jin, Tyrion and ysera
so he should at least take responsibility for his actions you feel
instead of just bickering over power and a throne
a real leader wouldn't be crying about a birthright
My brother in Christ both Sabellian and Wrathion are crying about it
and neither are good leaders
but sabellian isn't necessarily crying about it as a birthright
sabellian was entrusted to the job
Yet. We’re probably gonna see a big character arc for Wrathion this expac
He’s also got the guidance of Ebyssian
neltharion entrusted sabellian to be the keeper of the dragonflight should he be gone
so sabellian is just showing up to do that
as he was told
the question is more, does that claim hold up?
since it's neltharion's claim to the throne effectively
wrathion's is by heritage, sabellian's is by official word of neltharion
neither of which are ideal
even then you could argue wrathion's heritage claim might not even be as sound as sabellian's own
Honestly idk if it really matters. Wrathion’s gonna get the throne
Like- dudes got his face on the loading screen, has been everywhere on promotional stuff
I also just think Sabellian doesn’t care about Azeroth and it’s residents
Also using what we learned from Merithra and Ysera, a generic dragon npc model bodes pretty poorly for a dragon wanting to become aspect
He and his flight have a genuine disdain for mortals
Part of the charge of the dragonflights is protecting mortals
In our time of need, Wrathion would come, Sabellian wouldn’t
That's just what the Titans want you to think!
In addition, he was sent to Outland by corrupted Neltharion - so I don’t think that makes what he did good
And, he immediately lied to the PC and Wrathion about the eggs - he has given us every opportunity to distrust him instead of trust him
All he has done is lie to us
Yeah Peach said it pretty well
He’s definitely untrustworthy, at least what Wrathion did was “for the greater good”. I wouldn’t say Wrathion is the reason the legion invaded just the reason the legion invaded when they did
And that turned out fine so
Yeah but Sabellian will make decisions to help the dragons even if it hurts mortals
Wrathion would never actively hurt mortals
Sabellian only cares about the dragons
He doesn’t meet the requirements of the oath
I wouldn’t be surprised if they go to make him the head and it literally doesn’t work because he isn’t a viable candidate because of that
Wrathion truly cares about the mortals of Azeroth - is he cocky and prone to rash decisions? Yes, but his intentions are true.
He’s trying to be everything Neltharion was supposed to be
I seriously cannot wait to see what Wrathion will look like as an aspect
Versus Sabellian who wants to keep doing what he has been doing but with the power of the aspect
I hope they give us some sort of rendered battle between Wrathion wielding earthwarder powers against Iridikron
Considering how weak Wrathion is, I think he will need aspectral power first
Might be the focus of 10.1
Empowering the aspects to take on more of the primalist incarnates
tbf so was the arbiter, varian, and the random dude from maldraxxus
Yeah but seems a lil different this time
ik ik
I hope it’s not a permanent thing and it’s just to choose a new aspect or to grow a world tree or something
Like a brief return before she has to leave again
I don’t want her story in ardenweald - the best story in shadowlands - to be literally for nothing
Would fully ruin that zone’s story for me
I do like the idea that Danuser proposed with the Demeter stuff
Spending half her time in Ardenweald and half in the dream/Azeroth
I have no idea where it’ll actually go but as long as Ysera’s death still means something to her character then I think we’ll be fine
we have failed, I found a virtually unmineable node that made it to live :(
Also they never fixed the bug that lets you start dragon races with all 6 vigor
Not that it really matters, golds are very easy and I can't see the multiplayer ones becoming an esport
actually probably matters for advanced gold hunting
You can do this?
Wrathion can't exactly lead a flight if there is no flight
Yeah I don't get why Wrathion is portrayed as so self-obsessed with his legacy, and bratish and rash in Waking Shore, when he was much wiser in BFA and Forbidden Reach.
Sabellian saves the day at the Obsidian Citadel where Wrathion's forces would've been outnumbered but he still insisted on a siege, even Alexstrasza says his path is leading to "folly", Sabellian rebuilt the whole black dragonflight with dragons and eggs and everything, while Wrathion just went and randomly killed all the black dragons he could find, Sabellian successfully brings the eggs to the Life Pools with a masterclass ruse where Wrathion's rashness would've gotten them destroyed, and Sabellian even restores the Red dragonflight Oathstone.
Wrathion is obviously going to be the Aspect, but they're not giving him much standing for that.
if you're dismounted when it tries to reset you to 3 vigor, it doesn't succeed
so just accept, cancel mount, wait a second and remount
and you keep whatever vigor you had before
Maybe. I didn't play too much beta in the past couple months to go back and check
I love how ppl is crying about wrathion, forgetting that he is whelp, 13 years old, also forgetting the arch with the fact that he admitted that he fucked up, and that he wants to correct his mistakes and protect Azeroth, but everyone forgets about it, saying what a terrible leader he is, forgetting about the fact that he is 13 years old
Let's talk about what kind of shit you did when you were little
The boi still learning stuff
BUT
If they gonna kill sabellian or making him a bad guy it Will be so stupid
Everything you said is true, but that's also exactly the reason why you don't give uberpowerful Titan-given powers of Earth to a young, arrogant, rash kid
Agree
But will See what arc he will go through in df
Hope it will not suck
Because if they will make him more resonable and more like a good leader it Will be okay
Because right now at start of df wrathion feels weird af
My issue is that he wasn't self-obsessed, rash and stupid in BFA. He had grown and matured and helped us defeat N'Zoth masterfully. He studied, he was patient, he researched the Old Gods for years, then he devised a whole plan and everything.
In Forbidden Reach he's also quite wise, he's courageous and charges Raszageth, but also smart enough to retreat.
But in Waking Shore questing he's inconsistent with that portrayl. It's like he regressed and is back to being immature. He's only obsessed with his throne. Even Alexstrasza says that he's leading to folly or something along those lines. Everyone tells him that his plan is going to fail, that we don't have the numbers. He just says "my people are ready to die for me"- uh, great? and "you forget, we have me!"- okay. And then Sabellian and his army of black dragons save everyone's lives, the citadel, the eggs, everything. It's also Sabellian who restored the Red's oathstone.
Meanwhile Wrathion dismissed every tactical decision, kept complaining the entire trip with the eggs instead of just, you know, doing his job. He just wants his throne, legacy, destiny, whatever. Which is understandable but at the same time.. not urgent at all? And really showcased exactly why he shouldn't get Aspect powers. The short story also portrayed him just as brash and impulsive. And you really don't want a brash and impulsive Aspect of the Earth.
Maybe blizz did it for that reason? Hmmm
Most likely they made him stupid and impulsive so that he can progress throughout this expansion and 'learn his lessons', and yeah he'll end up at a place where he can be good enough to be Aspect.
I just wish they picked up his character arc from BFA instead of regressing him back to dummy levels.
Like "hey look There adult Black dragon that restore his flight and can be a good leader, but also There is wrathion Who helped you defeat nzoth but he is a Child"
Wrathion being like "hehe see, you lost the eggs Sabellian, mommy Alex is gonna be mad!" is not just childish but straight up weird.. these eggs were the future of your flight too. Him being almost celebrating and vindicative is weird.
I think if they stay with bfa version of him everyone will choose him over sabellian
But rn everyone confusing about wrathion being an aspect
But I agree that wrathion is weird af rn
They could've played more with the angles of Wrathion being a good Earth-Warder-like character but he needs to now buy the respect and allegiance of all these new, much older and experienced black dragons.
While Sabellian already has the respect and allegiance of the black flight, but now needs to do some Earth-Warding.
Instead Sabellian really gets all the points, he saves everyone and everything, even the Red oathstone, while Wrathion has not only failed at everything, but he's actually a weight you need to carry, which is a bit annoying.
Hope we will See a little bit of his arc soon
Sabellian didn't save the oathstone himself. He gave the last piece needed but it wasn't just him
I'm fairly sure we'd have been able to win the fight without him too cause that's what the champion does haha
I'm not trusting a black dragon who says he's not corrupted after helping his father for 10k years kill other dragons and shows up with a bunch of dragons and eggs he says are find after just 32 years away from Azeroth
If Sabellian had a cure to his father's corruption he'd have come back a decade ago
