The addon Livestock lets you have multiple mounts on just a few buttons - automatically randomize between them. Land mount, flying mount, water mount, customize. Independent for each character. No limit. Before I foudn it I had most of a bar for each character with their individual mounts. This is easier.

If you assign a water mount, let's say, Sea Turtle, que you use the random favourite mount while standing in shallow water, you'll mount up in the turtle.
