Guys i have lvl both hunter and paladin to 50. I like both playstyles but i dont know who to main..... The problem with the hunter is that as a DPS i cant find most of the time spot at dugeons cause they are too many DPS and groups always look for tank and heal , with paladin its easiest to find always but my concert is about tbc as i read alliance paladis are not so great and only horde paladis are good and hunters are very good but when the phsares move on you cant find spot on raids. Any suggestions please??? Also at tbc i read that druid are better at heal than paladins and also if that matters indont care about pvp)

@random hare paladins are basically healers only until tbc, but they're good
hunter damage drops off but that doesnt mean you won't be taken, unless you're in a cutting edge guild
horde paladins are marginally better imo, it's not as big of a deal as it's made out to be
no matter what you pick there are going to be downsides, I guess its up to you and deciding what you want to deal with

in classic both feral and guardian are just called feral and have the same skill tree, but they still have unique forms
since classic isnt based around specialisations but instead more your class as a whole, druids shapeshift in battle more often
they are slightly worse healers than most, a worse tank than warriors, and lower dps than most dps specs, but unlike in retail with the right talents you can do any role when needed
like if your tank died in a dungeon, you can go from your groups healer to tanking

@gleaming depot If you can handle Stocks, that should sort you out for cloth. Linen, Wool and Silk.
I farm it with my Warrior and usually finish with at least a stack or 2 of each.
My suggestion is also on assumption you're Alliance, I should add.

It's not a messed up character but most people wait for the endgame to level engineering

@fickle skiff Aside from heirlooms, levelling in Retail was probably a little "too" quick", but I found it tolerable.
The problem I have with Retail is that combat gameplay mechanics turned into "paint-by-numbers".
I found there was no skill in thinking of how to actually play your class.

idk about you but some retail content/specs are very much skill intensive, way more so than classic
but classic is also a lot more methodical as a whole
like in retail holy paladin is about putting out consistent damage and healing crits while juggling cooldowns
thereas in classic your buffs and auras play a bigger role, and its more about healing efficiency

When I was levelling since Legion, the game was telling me "do this, now do this, now time for this, and this". It was doing that by glowing the skill block that it suggested was ready to use. That's what I felt cheapened the experience for me.

I finally reached 60 on my warrior. Levelled mostly in Prot with a sword and shield, and from about 50 onwards I switched to 2H/dual wield and focused on DPS.

All the sequences in the video are from the same run (so no cheating with someone who helps me clean).
I managed to keep the World Buffs at the kill of Rattelgor, which above all allowed me to gain time on the first mobs. (Buffs are not essential for progress).
The rest of the dungeon is done with the means at hand!

- Will i be playing with different realms if i queue up for like Alterac ?

Okay, so @bold plinth. 1. Yes it kind of matters what realm you pick. PvE is a realm of which is less "restricted" than PvP, you can create characters of both factions on PvE realms as well as turn PvP mode on and off as you please. 2. PvP realms allow you to make only characters of the first character's faction, so making 1 orc character would mean only fellow horde characters could be made there, alongside the fact that PvP mode is constantly on, meaning you can attack/other players can attack at will.
Those are the differences of realms
now as for sister realms in pvp, it is possible yes

So last night (about 24 hours ago), I somehow came up with one of the dumbest levelling challenge ideas ever.
I dub it the '1-quest challenge".
You need to get to 60 as quick as you can, but you can only ever have 1 quest in your log at any given time, where it can be helped.
So from quest acquisition to hand-in, you can only ever have 1 quest in your log at a time.
I don't know if it already exists.
Think of it on par with the boar-only challenge and the like.

basically one day all the good invulnerable beings of azeroth like love started spazzing out about the birth of the evil hogger one so they started attacking him with all their (n)might and you know winnie ng and all but how can you kill that which has no life?so those good invulnerable bosses threw all their curses at him , kept attacking him and also doom him (which does not stack or needs refresh unless dispelled first),anyway poor and gearless little evil hogger did something incomprehensible at that point,he cast a server wide spell called everything (xX) multiplier and everyone laughed at him naturally since all their buffs,gear and loot drops multiplied while he got the curses he had on him multiplied instead except the doom debuff which does not stack.
anyway the years went on ,heroes kept farming evil bosses which you know ,you can kill but :example= the green by f ing someone thus saving them but the green always respawn till you f (cough) i mean slay the beast again,endless f (cough) i mean grind to keep the evil at bay. then one day something really surprising happened,the place where the good gods of aserotheos had hogger trapped and zapping him till the evil undying marionette dies was a graveyard! all those immortal deities of good were dead under the evil one`s gearless dirty foot with strangely altered nameplates for some mysterious reason.bfa really ended with hogger,no seriously. i m serial no joke.

Whatโs the deal with wowhead drop rates? I thought these were supposed to update based on actual drops recorded by people with the wowhead looter client installed? It looks like there are MC bosses with <100 kills recorded, but BWL bosses with >10,000 kills?

They always have been a guide only.
Purely statistical.
For example, it took me 36 quarry slave kills to get the crumpled note for Ony attune, yet I've had guildies suggest my luck based on those stats were quite low.
As in, it technically shouldn't have taken that many kills for it to drop.
@lunar bear Quests in Classic, much like Vanilla, are generally written in a way that you should be able to interpret what needs to be done and where. Questie will certainly help, but read the quest text ๐

@austere urchin I understand the statistics. My question is the discrepancy in kill count. If there are >10000 drops recorded for BWL bosses, I would expect more than 75 for MC bosses lol
To further illustrate:
I am not questioning the % values, I am questioning the 76 in the 34/76. 76 is the total number of kills recorded, which is very low compared to BWL bosses.

Classic, I mean. Retail - you can do all solo or with strangers but classic was built for playing in groups, in my opinion... it can be very frustrating and confusing if you just go into it alone, especially if you choose a class that takes awhile to get going.

one video I saw said you had to earn the right to do dungeons and raids before cataclysm and I think that's true in many ways. Classic is very heavy on cooperation and interaction with other players, otherwise you'll just be overwhelmed.
my advice is just to play retail and if you like it, find someone to try classic with.

Aq has not opened yet. The war effort was completed on some servers, which triggers the 5 day march to the gate. Then there is a 10 hour war once someone has rung the gong and then the gates are open. People can only ring the gong after reset as it requires a raid boss kill that you have already killed in a previous part of the quest chain

@lean lantern The servers have a high population, but right now for leveling it is scuffed. Everyone is just getting boosted from 15-60 pretty much, the actual leveling zones are deserted unless someone is farming something

Most people will say go hunter and focus on beast mastery; your pet will tank mobs for you while you damage. I play on. PvP server do I focused on marksman/survival skills from thr start.

@maiden river That means using your Judgment ability which you can only use when you have a Seal active. You will then want to refresh your Seal as well as that uses it up.
