honestly, I think its a mistake to just judge outfits on how well they 100% match, to me its also about the general vibe they give and how they work on that particular character
and I also think slightly mismatched ones tell more of a story and feel more unique/personal

As a new player its so hard to get gear for sets. I feel like the loot systel is either rigged or i am insanely unlucky. Today me and my bf ran 3 raids on all dificulties and we got 1 mail item that wasnt class locked.... and I already had it unlocked.... whats the average farm time/tries it takes you guys to get stuff for your sets?

Probably depends on the raid and what you're after
as well as whether you can set it to 10 player vs 25 player
but for the most part I find the drop rates are decent for things, but it really depends. Sometimes I'll get loads of relevant drops, other times not so much. It's just pure rng
but if there's anything specific you're after, if you're able (depends on the expac) I'd look into collecting what you need for bonus rolls

Narcissus lets you hide it as well, after adding the appearance... all the slots will appear at base of try-on screen. Or at least I think it was narcissus... I have quite a few addons, but like 99% sure it was from that one

Mail armor from BT, ICC, vanilla sets like battleforge or ornate/masterwork, all pretty. I enjoy that my hunter looks like a shaman with a bow. :p And t6 shaman remains one of my favorite mail sets. The murloc look from cata is neat too, don't see many people with it anymore.

depends on the race tbh. One of my draenei has the icc shaman lookalike set with the bow from icc and the other has ornate with rhok'delar. My nightborne and belf also ornate with rhok'delar. Trying to find something that looks good on vulpera for one of my shaman. Armor wasn't designed for tiny legs and bushy tails. :p

personally on mine I use the blue bloodfang recolour, with illidan's blindfold drop and these blue backsheath swords (cant remember their name) with mongoose ench appearance on them
oh yeah, 'the unbreakable will'. More recently I switched to using thunderfury for the flex of it, but tbh unbreakable will probably looks better with the colour palette

Yeah I was really surprised when I saw the venthyr covenant sets because they weren't at all like the npc outfits, which imo are way nicer... the player available sets look too much like past pvp sets or something. Not as "refined" and dapper (can't think of better words) as what they could've been
