Lunar New Year parades have always had really fun and awesome dragon dances to look at, which in game is even represented by the dragon costumes you can use with your friends to make your own dragon dance, so saying that using the dragonstalker armor and weapon that has fire plumes/matches the fire crown "don't match up in style" is honestly just....lying?

And yet the armor style that is clearly more European in design vs the more tradional asian style of the dress. Which yes the crown does reflect more upon european monarchs vs asian, it's still the closest thing that I could find and haveon hand to represent such. Picking a Guandao styled weapon would also be my first preference but had to go with my greatsword as the Guandao's gold is just a shade to light to pick it.
When I speak of fashion and designs not matching up, this is how I think of.

Take a look at the dragon skulls as a first tip. The horns on there are actual horns.
Not the more traditional antlers seen on Asian dragons, that would make the dragon more like the western dragons that we see represented in the raid it comes from.
Second tip is the gold trimming, it's literally everywhere in no particular design. More asian styled fantasy armor always has a design attributed to it. The third bit is the gloves themselves though that more has to do with blizzard not making gauntlets fall inside of a dresses sleeves and rather overtake it.
The fire aspect, while cool I'll admit, also just fits more Western ideals than Eastern as dragons aren't actually associated with fire all that commonly unlike the west.

To me the AQ robes are definitely slutty. Very elegant and tasteful, but still well in the realm of going overboard.
