Tbh, once you get everything down, the prot challenge is kinda easy. If you're around 930 or higher, just go a DPS build and use all offensive CDs and nuke the boss to hell until they're (your CDs) done or you're at 4-6 stacks (wherever you're comfortable), then just keep doing small pokes once the de-buff is gone, and move towards the inferals so they start their attack animation, then you sidestep that and continue while keeping the Nether adds off of Velen
(Also remember to face the eye if you can't kill it in time)
But before actually doing it... it's easier said than done.

the gul'dan jokes were amusing.
Helmet #2 has my vote over the first one, the cascade effect looks nice ingame and I think the spikes on it balance out the spiky shoulders better than helmet #1 does. Gemstone also matches that on the weapon well.

@stone fog I find Gambeson of Sargeras' Corruption to work well with the colours. Robes of Fluctuating Energy also go well with it imo, but it's a robe so it hides the pants.

Oh. Something I noticed while setting up a levelling mog for my DK this weekend: I had access to every raid mog that my pally picked up, excluding tier pieces. So all the EN/HoV plate, all the 110 BoEs and generic parts, and all the world plate I picked up.
That DK was 102 when I checked. Haven't bothered checking on another toon yet, but it looks like Blizzard at least partly removed that transmog restriction.

I'd also suggest what Eiryna said, and just add the name: 'Stormrune Edge', but also throw in Quel'Delar and Twinblade of the Phoenix as competitors as swords, any level of the WoD crafted Steelforged Greataxe, and Marrowstrike from Trial of the Champion if you want to try a polearm (which I don't find to be too bad looking as Holy specced)
