The 2400 appearances just fit the mythic set perfectly

So I'm ok with the troll heritage armor but I wish they had addressed the biggest problem that male trolls have been facing for a while: that every fancier belt clips through their thighs. And it confuses me that the heritage's belt here is no different. For Vulpera they specifically carved out holes in their hoods for the ears, so I kind of wished they had paid more attention to detail here as well. Yes, I know it's a bit different here, since it's different for the "non-slouching" female trolls, but still... we're talking about armor that can not be worn by any other race.

Last time I checked most of the Class Hall armor was locked behind a reputation/achievement. I have the entire set on my main so I definitely did all the things at some point. You guys think that will then count for other classes and we can just waltz into our class halls and buy all the pieces for gold once WW launches?

Followup: Are legion artifact appearances account bound for classes of a type? Like if I unlock ashbringer on an alliance pally, will I be able to use it on a horde pally?

@deep fractal A fun policy you can set for yourself would be to limit yourself to no more than 3 pieces from a single set, if you want to make something unique.

It's the same rule I have for myself

Though I TRY to limit to 2, but sometimes 3 is just too useful for total outfit cohesion

Starting in Cataclysm and onward to the current retail expansion, will Blizzard ever expand the collection of appearances to include more than just the armor type of the character you are on? For instance, is it worth it for my paladin to hold on to cloth items collected during classic in hopes that one day Blizzard will consider adding those into my overall appearance collection? Or, should the paladin just trash the rare Cloth, Mail, and Leather items from Vanilla/TBC/Wotlk because Blizzard will never add those into my overall appearance collection since they are not plate?

in the next expansion (the war within) we will be able to unlock other mogs that aren't the ones your class uses as their main armor sets/weapons. however they told us at blizzcon that the system will likely not be retroactive. so if they were BoP items say from raid, you'd have to collect them again.

Some of the belts from Shadowlands actually seem to work differently and instead follow the direction of the bent knees, but none of them work for what I'm going for here unfortunately. Since effectively a hunter performs as tank dps and healer in one modular package

(In older content that is)

And movement as well, hunter is fast and mobile as hell while not needing to be moving 24/7

Did Blizzard not announce that with Warband, the "loot" plate on my warlock would unlock that plate armor?

As long as it’s not class specific items or tier items. Yes any of your characters will unlock plate pieces. If they are BoE you will learn them when selling them. If they are Soul bound it’s on looting. If they are class tier tokens you need to put them in the warband bank to be looted and used by the appropriate class (warband bank is currently disabled). If they are class items like the stuff from legion raids you need to loot it on the correct class
