Hovering spell/ability/talent links on bfa.wowhead.com seems to sometimes jump between displaying build 25976 and build 29502 info. Not a big deal, but could be a symptom of a bigger problem on the server side seeing as there have been some server issues. The BFA honor talent calculators also seem to be incomplete or empty.

I just tried going to the MM Hunter talent calculator for de.wowhead.com to confirm what you said by checking the other talents, and I'm seeing all the talents and abilities in the spell list as "null". Though hovering still displays the proper tooltip. I see Lone Wolf as another one with a non-translated description.

They seem to be having the same volatility I was talking about with spell/talent links. I was on the DE calculator page and after reloading Lock and Load was translated, but other that were no longer were. A number of the descriptions and titles for abilities on their ability pages seem to be in English at all times (I'm cycling through them). So it seems the ability pages are loading info from the English tooltips and the tooltips displayed from hovering links are... wonky.

All that's needed is a little checkbox right above the new feed that asks if you'd like to receive beta news. Visible every time you go to the feed and common among feeds. The option doesn't need to be tucked away in some settings page.

Maybe they are preparing a scenario with minor changes here and there. It wouldn't make sense lore-wise go to the current Gorgrond and see nothing changed in the scenery even after "clearing" 3 dungeons and BRF, and actually "freeing" Draenor from the Iron Horde.

Delete the +Wowhead_Looter.lua (and +Wowhead_Looter.lua.bak) file in your World of Warcraft/WTF/Account/<Account Name>/SavedVariables folder. Then, go relaunch World of Warcraft. Give it a minute, close it and try to upload again.

No no, it's just that spam accounts on Wowhead often try to put URL's in the subject so we implemented this releatively recently. It shouldn't be stopping you though. Obviously it is though. I'm not really sure what in the subject is triggering this though. Try removing the / for me.

Greetings, i've been having a problem with the dressing room and i can't get myself to fix it since i don't know what its causing it really. Could be that the browser i'm using is Firefox but i don't really know.

Happens with all models, bugged body parts. They clip and whatnot.

So, I've been trying to change races in the WoWhead dressing room and just no browser I've used is letting me do it. Tried it on the new version of Internet Explorer (I know thats not what its called but thats what it is :v ), Firefox and Chrome with no addons in any of them. Anyonehave a clue what Im doing wrong?

100% of the time. I've found a work around by going to certain pages like the allied races to base load in the model that way but I cannot physically change it.

And yes I just tried it incognito, all 3 still do not allow me to change it.

I had no problem getting it to work in Incognito, but kept having nothing happen when I clicked it in my regular browser. I just performed a full clear of site data; cookies, cache, app cache, local storage, Web SQL, etc. Then it worked for me.

Try using Chrome, press F12 on the page, choose Application from the top list (might need to click >>) then make sure it's all checked and click 'Clear site data'. Then, right click the refresh button on the nav bar at the top and select the third option 'Empty Cache and Hard Reload'. Once I did that the page worked as expected. I think we may have had some stale data floating around, we made some changes to the Dressing Room today so it's possible a conflict occured there.

@lament ocean Do you mean on your character profile? If so, yes, it would be ideal if it automatically detected unavailable mounts you DON'T own and list them in their own tab, but that's a relatively minor issue.

The source clearly lists them as unavailable, and you can manually exclude them from the list as well.

wowhead's dressing room - items such as Darkfang Mask appear way too bright. The glow effect is much brighter than in game and is so bright that you can't see half of the character. Is this normal and is there an option to adjust these particles for better posting that you know of?

Particles is a complex issue to solve and something a few devs are actively working on to make more accurate

There may be particle improvements as early as next week. The tricky thing is finding a fix that doesn't improve one type of model, but makes several others worse

seems like a bug. As a temporary workaround, I would recommend to click on Mounts tab, wait for the loading to complete, and click on Quests tab. Please let us know if it works

Blizzard seems to have stopped doing their 'This Month in WoW' or 'Inside Azeroth' posts making it more tedious to do now. I'll see what I can do though.

@radiant cloak If you're using Chrome, try clicking F12 while on the page, and then find Application (might need to click the >> to find) and then click 'Clear Site Data' (you may need to login again). Then try loading the Quests tab. Note that the quest tab is the most resource intensive tab and can take around a minute or two to load sometimes. I was able to load yours in < 2 minutes. If it's never loading, it might be cache, which is why I suggest you clear the site data and try again. Sorry for any inconvenience.

July 2017 the WC3 updater was changed (patch 1.28). The installer was changed from the old one to the new one at one point at the end of 2017 (after Blizzcon)

Maybe the one you grabbed was still an older version of the installer they forgot to update, but Battle.net app has supported installing it like this since they pushed it to NGDP in late June/July 2017

Update: thank you for fixing the Italian Achievement Tooltip issue, it was really appreciated and you guys are doing a great job!
There are still issues with many achievements, I think the problem is with achievements which involve doing other achievements. I do not know how to explain it in properly in english, sorry. It can vary a lot person to person and is most noticeable after being open extended periods of time. It's likely due to some ads that loaded during the time the tab was idle. Can you click report ad on one of the ones you see now and mention the memory leak in the report. If you can include a link to the screenshot that could help. Thank you!

As a result, there really isn't a need for a phone app; further, the time and effort to make an app isn't cost effective and we lack the resources to dedicate time to such an endeavor. IMVHO 12 hours is an EXTREMELY short amount of time. I mean, 24 hours would have been very short: people have a life, and might not notice… but 12? Like, if you are in the wrong timezone, you could spend most of these hours sleeping anyway…

I'd like to point out the incredible ease in which users can participate in these giveaways and the number of ways to be notified that you've won, not to mention knowing the specific time the winner(s) will be announced and when the response window is. Sending a quick message, within 12 hours of being declared a winner, is a small request for that vast majority of those participating. It's not as if they have to wait around after sending the message, the rest of the process can be more leisurely. Users often don't respond, regardless of the amount of time given, in which case I have to select a new winner, this is already time extensive with 12 hour intervals, making it a full day would lengthen the amount of time it takes to process a simple giveaway. In one such instance, we were 3+ days after the giveaway ended, approaching a new one starting, and I hadn't had a response.

Anyway, after quite a bit of trial and error I've settled on 12 hours and find it more than reasonable. Just know I've thought about it extensively and your feedback has been heard. Thank you.

@vale hedge There are 24 time zones in the world (give or take)... I'm sure the timing isn't very convenient for everyone, everywhere. So, no matter what I do with timing, there will be those affected. Sorry. Set an alarm, if you win, send a message while walking into class from the parking lot/bus station... w/e. There's plenty of opportunity.

This guide http://www.wowhead.com/recruit-a-friend-guide has some incorrect information. Firstly If a character on the new account goes from level 1 to level 90 (or higher), that character has 40 levels to give to any character or combination of characters on the Veteran Account. Nitpicking, but this number is too low. The other more prominent issue is about the xp bonusYou must not be more than four levels apart Which is now inaccurate as of the introduction of level scaling. I have absolutely no idea what it actually is, but it isn't that.

That's not how percentages work, you could run it 5 billion times with a 99% drop rate and still not get it. (Granted, it would be incredibly unlikely, but still possible.)

quick question I'm on my main Nadras-uther all the time but his profile page pic is always blank where as all my other toons show. Plus his miners helm [Under World Helm] is shoved half way through his skull on the equipment (looks like a forsaken model viewer issue) viewer. I know he undead and every thing but it looks pretty weird. Any ideas on both

Okay, so the first one is us, second one is kinda us and Blizzard. For some reason, Blizzard renders that empty image on their own profiler. Which is what we point at. For some people, it's a complete image, others it isn't. For you, it's actually a different link, but both links are on the page. It's rather confusing.

I'm still having issues with tooltips. As of a couple days ago, none of the colors or icons show up. The hover works still, but not the other features (so no one will be able to tell at a glance that it's a tooltip).

Now that tooltips have been fixed, is there a way to put tooltips on ipb 4.2.8? The guide shows instructions for 2.2 and that was a long time ago. ACP is completely different now

I can replicate @plucky fractal - same thing here and ctrl-f5, no luck and incognito - no luck either.. different browser, no luck

It's a known issue...this is related to the tooltip refactor again. We started rolling it out slowly last night, and sped it up a little just now, and it's causing issues elsewhere on the site
