I go off what activity I wanna do. So for example, if you wanna raid, check the WoWprogress for your server and find a guild that is active that you think is at a level you want to play on. Most raiding guilds are active enough to have pvp / rp as well.

@hazy berry you use a pet as MM if you need the utility. For some people, their single target damage sims like ~1% better or worse with or without a pet while the dps loss is only noticeable on aoe since your pet doesn't do any aoe damage

I played Feral Druid for a bit so I memorized the rotations. That's what really made it faster, I didn't have to completely learn a new rotation set

ahhaaa, i understand it now. if you are playing as alliance you will get "kaldorei archer's chainmail" set from darkshore. but picking up any one of those pieces will unlock the corresponding blightguard piece for your horde characters, and visa versa. so you can farm it on either faction then

The only kind of games I really play are like wow and single player games, I keep hearing that 1080p at 144hz is better than 1440p at 60 hz but at the same time an equal about of articles says the opposite. Idk what to do, does wow look any different from 1080p to 1440p?

okay so let me put it this way.. you always and without exception want to run any game in your monitor's native resolution. anything above or below will significantly worsen the image quality (not performance). 1440p is obviously higher than 1080p. higher is better, but also more demanding on your hardware.
144hz means your refresh rate.. your monitor can give you 144 frames per second. higher is better. there is a significant difference between 144hz and 60hz. its impossible to show a video to demonstrate it, you'll have to see it with your own eyes. suffice to say.. if you can not get your game to run at 144 fps... 144hz monitor is not being utilized properly. but you have a 3070. you can easily get that fps in wow.
if you have a 60hz monitor you will never be able to see more than 60 fps, no matter if the fps counter says 23469838643934678346 fps, you still will only get 60.

besides, 1080p and 60hz is nearing state of obsolete these days. you can get 1440p @ 144hz very cheap these days. and mate ill be honest with you, if you were my irl friend and you bought a 3070 gpu and you cheap out on a monitor so u cant even utilize that powerhorse of a card, i would genuinely slap you on the cock
but since you are a stranger on the internet, i'll just say.. your money your choice
