Yes, I give up, is true, people will just use it for personal gain even if it will hurt others (design better weapons for example). But , many of our stuff was made thanks to... war (computers and radio are here thanks to WW1 and WW2). In the same way that literal Nazis (best example of humanity's good :D) created the space competition (V2 rockets and all German scientist that helped US and USSR/URSS/CCCP with thinks like the Paperclip Operation) which directly let to more stuff that we enjoy (like satellites and stuff NASA created). So in a nutshell, shitty people exist, humanity as a whole is a growing cancer that kill itself, true, but in that process many good things are created for introverts like us ❤️
So if quantum computers will be used for war, there is no reason to why not see how they could be implemented for us to waste time farming dopamine.
