Hollywood gets a Tracer statue, Paris gets a Genji statue, and in Busan, South Korea, they lit up the bridge for Overwatch

Okay like, for me the Hero short for Overwatch felt like a 90's cartoon
Soldier 76 is stated as being a savage and slightly unstable war veteran, turned violent vigilante, known for killing thugs in the street, and in this he resorts to mostly fists, shooting guns out of people's hands, and beating a man with a piรฑata It just doesn't feel accurate to his character for me
It's kinda like what they did with the X-Men cartoon, where Wolverine never uses his claws to cut people up, like he does in the comics, X-Men was still a cool cartoon, but Wolverine in that show was not truly wolverine.

Totally trusting those. Fan reviews have been overally positive.

I exect the warcraft movie to feel like generic fantasy... because Warcraft is. And people need to understand that being "generic" is okay. Cliches can even be okay sometimes.
This isn't Duncan Jones reinventing the wheel; this is him telling a story to a slightly wider audience than it's been told to before. He's not going to just run away with the lore we already have and make it into some ground-breaking movie
he'd have to rewrite the entire universe to do that, and that's just not going to happen
I actually really liked this review; it's comparing it more to other fantasy films etc

LoTR came out.... shoot, when I was graduating high school; ti's been some time
further I think LoTR has more defined good vs. evil than Warcraft does if that makes sense. And I mean, you're then comparing it to something that was pretty genre-defining

I don't know if I've seen it much before but usually I see artists post their preview pictures in jpg form in a small resolution as a way to deter stealing. Unfortunately it can be as annoying as giant watermarks (which can easily be photoshopped out) or some people just don't know of it and it gets claimed by somebody else.
There are methods if I remember to put a copyright and your name in an image file properties itself... I've never done it before though

Personally I feel like legistlation should focus on tighter regulation on getting the guns and then on manufacturing the civilian grade versions as the bigger issue is turning a civvy wep into an auto-wep with about 4-6 hours of hard work and a kit bought off ebay :/
