I've unfortunately just reproduced a bug that i saw someone else report which causes m+ runs to not register correctly, not counting for your score or vault.

I suspect it's related to the new deserter system as one toxic guy threw /abandon in the middle of the run, and that's really the only significant change from earlier seasons where this bug never happened

Dawnbreaker 12 completed:

No credit on the dungeon page (it says top key was still a 10), although that page showed +32 score.

However, a user previously reported that their score went back down again on relog when this bug happened, and i reproduced that with a logout and login.

I'm using an entropic shadow staff that you get in one of the karesh quests, my ilvl rn is 643, I just got a better main had weapon that I'd like to use to raise the level. but when I change it, my ilvl drops down to 605. I notice everytime I hover over the weapon it also shows I have an offhand equpped which is not true, what the actual fuck is going on

Does anyone that got the Felcycle, Voidcycle and such actually use them?
I mean, to get them you need to be lvl 80, which means any alts you make will be able to fly at lvl 10

Which means you can run at ground mount speed on a flying mount as well
But these Cycles, they are locked to the ground, whereas flying mounts can do both if you need to fly
Ground mounts are unable to get you away from mobs as you run along, so depending on the mobs locations you may have so many on you that you die

With flying you just need to fly up real quick, then land, and they are all reset

So, yeah, what's the point in getting such cool as heck mounts when you're never going to use them?
Oh, and just about all zones these days are optimised for 3D movement, rather than the 2D movement of ground mounts
So even less reason to use them

Yes, there are some cases where flying is prohibited, most commonly in some dungeons where you can mount but you cannot fly.

Although I usually just clean out my “favorited mount” list at the start of an expansion and add all the mounts I get throughout the expansion so I don’t use it as much as I could. Just randomly letting the game decide which mount from the current expansion I own to use in the current setting

I think you're missing the point--it's entirely an aesthetic and personal preference choice. Just because you can use any flying mount on the ground, that doesn't mean that someone won't want to use something else because that's their personal choice.
Personally, when questing or traveling a short distance I'll still prefer ground mounts that can't fly just to go over the terrain without taking off or zipping by too quickly, or I'll use a 2-seater ground mount in battlegrounds or dungeons to help move my pocket healer player with me.
Plenty of people use ground specific mounts, only on the ground.

Ground mounts also have a lower profile than the majority of flying mounts and don't have to worry about navigating things like door frames or low hanging obstacles
