Nothing is forcing you to share one set of tools. Your welcome to create a second, third, or even fourth set so everyone has their own 🤷🏻‍♂️

TEAMMATES uhm yk that teams usually just you know team? aka it's the teams tools not your tools. It's not a server/staff matter if you have teammates you can't trust nor is it anything they can just add to fix it. You can simply avoid this by either #1 having people you can trust and want to share with or #2 keeping the stuff you do not want to share with them in your inventory/playervault

or simply go Solo.

when on an island, anything like tools, do not technically belong to you - they belong to that island. so when you are on a team all items do need to be shared as again they do not solely belong to one person

people are bound to get annoyed if you keep on logging off or going afk with the tools that are usually shared

If I’m in a team but make my own tools from A-Z, you’d still expect me to put them in a chest because they “belong to the island” ?

If they’re shared tools there’s no question about that.

i mean yes you can make your own tools, but even so nothing really belongs to you when you’re in a team. hence why when you leave to join someone else’s, you have to basically leave everything behind apart from your gens, items that are soulbound and items purchased directly through the store

I think making a blanket statement like this is a tad unrealistic. For example. i have a marketplace shop and i buy t3 wheat. I collect from my shop and put it in my pv and my team mate reports me for not sharing and says "well lottielynn said you HAVE to share because it belongs to the island"

I totally understand what you are saying though. Obviously the player making the ticket felt a little hard done by and probably a little mislead. The statement you made sound very black/white so when they were expecting you guys to get involved and nothing was done, they became frustrated with the situation.

Again im not saying you should/shouldnt get involved, its just giving players information or making statements like this can cause issues due to the topic being a bit of a grey area

we try to not get invovled with island disputes and would prefer you to work it out yourself. that being said, if tools are agreed to be shared, then you should share them

You can’t bring them because that could become an unfair advantage for the next island you’re joining but it doesn’t necessarily belong to the island.

hiding tools away from players, when you have all agreed to share them, just causes unnecessary issues and that may end up in you getting reported for stealing from the island

That is just common sense imo but the part where he was required to share tools wasn’t.
It’s not stealing from the island if you made the tools 😂 Just can’t keep those if you leave the island

also my team8s had better tools than me when i joined their is

but later on i upgraded my tools so they became better

and then u said i need to share them.....

the biggest problem on this server is that staff is not staffing but yea who am i to judge

there is a difference between need and must 👀 if you thinks a staff was wrong, just create ticket and ask in there, thats not that hard
