My reason for this is that it makes wilderness extremely inefficient due to one mechanic, sweep. Sweep is obviously used so slaying can be done at a reasonable pace; however, when you are hit with knockback, the slight air time makes it so you can never hit a sweep attack.

Rather than removing this feature, simply add knockback resistance to armor/upgrades (which may already exist, I am not far along in my armor journey.) Otherwise it would basically defeat the purpose of armor at all.

I personaly think it takes away from the feel slaying right now has, maybe if its somehow possible to make it still connect the attack while beeing knocked would be perfect.

i dont think id be upset if knockback still stayed, but i dont think your idea is easily done, plus then flying would be meta due to it not allowing sweep rn due to being in the air like during knockback
