the main appeal to me is doing tasks that are mindless but have a logic behind them (picking what resources to make, choosing cookies for the arena and deciding which battles to do etc) and the whole collection aspect

the tasks have gotten more involved though (doodle jump and now vampire survivors lol) and like 2 thirds of the gachas now have their own currency you need to use so like....whats the point of diamonds?
