Gene upgrading

Is there a thing where if you upgrade one gene to level 90 and the other 3 are still level 80 is drops your rating? I’ve lost 300 some how just upgrading one gene 🫣

Yeah I did the same last time. If you upgrade all it comes back but for the little gain it’s not worth the upgrade
