Hey! I just played again for the first time in over a year and I cannot perform any action that requires me to hold E, for example drink water or collect sticks. The character starts the animation of bending forward, but the progress circle stops after a bit and I don’t receive the item. Anyone know if that can be fixed?

When I try to take a bath, it just stops after a second and doesn’t let me finish the action. When I try to ride the horse, after a second it goes into the horse’s inventory and doesn’t let me ride it.

For all these actions, there is a white circle that fills up, and you must hold down "e" until the circle is full. The length is individual, the bathing circle is very slow compared to the other actions, for example.
When riding, we have 2 options, hold "e" for riding and press "e" to open the saddle bags. If you release "e" before the circle is full, it registers only that you pressed "e" and opens the saddle bag. When you move the mouse while holding "e" and point to something else with interaction, such as a stone, the first action will be canceled.

Well, I’m not a bug hunter, so I usually can’t do much more than clear up any possible misunderstandings. But I’ve just had a bit of luck and found a fix in a very old thread.
Could you try unplugging your keyboard and plugging it back in? Does that help?

no i fixed it by doing a few things with my keyboard, it wasn’t game related :3
