I checked to make sure this has not been a suggestion in which i did not find anything about this. So with that being said, This being a medieval game I believe adding regions as this picture shows from another similar game would be a nice addition. Being able to liberate regions would be a way of accumulating certain resources or even passive resources and give more purpose to having armor and weapons. To add to this if you didn't wanna go the option of war maybe be on the kings good side and he will favor the land to you.

Perhaps go and play the other game?
This is a totally different game by a different studio, done on a different engine (unity vs. unreal 4).
To implement your suggestion would probably mean to recode MD from scratch. Don't think, devs would like to do that.
okay, first of all i thought this tab was for "suggestions" ? NOT for rude comments like these. if they cant do it, then cool fine its THIER game, but im still gonna imply my suggestion ATLEAST until they take this tab away. And secondly, if you don't like it then hop off MY suggestion. so annoying how rude people are just by stating your own suggestion.
it's allowed to disagree as long as everyone stays civil
Thalassa's answer is accurate, though it's a bit abrupt, but not really rude.
your idea is not bad per se, but imho it would switch the purpose of the game. What you suggest is a conquest/regional management game, when MD is about living (more or less) peacefully as a village head and their heirs.
but you're still welcome to suggest it.
Sorry, didn't mean to be rude. English isn't my native language. And yes: this is a suggestion board, but it is not only for adding cheers, but also for adding critic and for discussing those suggestions.
Just play Bellwright for that experience
@tacit bridge the others statements don't really make sense but how would you make this part of the game?
There's another thread of " raids", that I think would be more in line.
How would you intertwine this though?
"Perhaps go and play the other game?"
This statement wasn't necessarily civil in my opinion as anyone would take this as rude and hostile. again my opinion, but wont argue just stating.
thank you for this more civil answer/reply to what i suggested. I believe it would be nice as its a medieval game and they've already added armor and weapons so its semi fighting or at least heading in that direction with this new add, but regardless relaxed and laid back or fighting either or is good with me!
totally understandable.
not sure what that is. and manor lords is the closes experience to it, but medieval dynasty is better.
i mean i guess it could go in with raids. and not sure what you mean by intertwine this? or even what i said didn't make sense?
remember that we're not all native English speakers here, so this kind of misunderstanding may happen 😉
That game is a new game in development it is medival dynastie but with raids and other kingdoms to fight against
definitely on my part i misunderstood, truly apologize for that @shadow goblet
