My village is in the exact same spot, it's such a pretty area with the lake and the swamp imo (and all them bears rofl)
You managed to keep so many trees tho, it's quite hard to do that
Great minds! It’s been a bit of a challenge as it’s definitely not as flat as I first expected. I was making camp facing the lake one evening and thought.. “This view needs a pub” and so the village was born. Pretty sure that’s how most towns start 😉
To say the villagers are happy to get real swords tomorrow is an understatement. They’ve been defending themselves from toddlers waving wooden ones for too long..
Can’t wait to finish the (very tiny) marketplace once we receive the new items with the update. For now, here’s progress on the herbalist stall
One of my favourite designers 😎❤️
For a brief moment, I thought those were two human skulls on that table
🤣🤣
Also, what's the etymology behind your villagers name?
Luckily the winters haven’t been that harsh.. yet
Looked through different European languages as I wanted something that felt like it belonged in the Oxbow. Then I was toying with something Welsh or Celtic for a while as I love the history from those places. I eventually settled on old Norse, and whilst probably leaning a bit into fiction it had the look and sound I wanted. The name very roughly translates to “river of stones”
I love it. It has a nice ring to it!
With the help of all the fantastic new additions in the update the forge is almost complete. Just need to hunt down that herald…
As the kitchen has a window to the side I thought I’d build an extension so produce could be sorted and passed through.
Purely decorative because the last time I saw the cook they were stood on the roof of their house, so I assume accepting a cabbage through a window is slightly above their remit…
