#Arrows should degrade

Hmm, could you eloberate to why you think making arrows is pointless? 🤔
probably because you can reuse them forever, especially the iron ones
Ah that makes sense!
Don't they loose %? Because in the valley they did, last time I used them. This leads to having many stacks of arrows with differing %. Did they change it?
Each time you use an arrow, it returns with 10? % less durability. At least what I remember (didn't kill anything with arrows for a long time lol)
I've never seen arrows/bolts degrade, and I've been playing since a bit after release
Arrows and bolts have had a RNG "break" chance for a long time now - they either disappear on contact or they can be picked up again (always 100% durability for the pick ups).
If they lost a % each shot you would end up with multiple stacks with all different %'s (as Thalassa mentioned) - which would be even more painful imo than it is currently, the ones you pick up already don't go back into your active stack (even if the picked up ones are at 100% and your active stack is too, a new stack is always made that all the pick ups go into).
Having 10 stacks (10% loss per shot idea) is nightmare fuel imo, lol.
So the devs decided to use the "break" RNG mechanic to avoid this issue.
I get that, it just feels like I never have to make them at all due to how often bandits have them and that they get lost at such a low rate.
I agree with you tbh, maybe instead of a durability % they can have a higher break/lost chance that is set in Customise Game
I seem to always have my standard 200 iron arrows on me (lol) with very little replacement need - I tend to buy/find them and use my iron bars for tools
Cheers @inner apex 😉
Is it possible that larger trees yield more logs, while causing more time to harvest and reduction of axe durability?
