I'm a mom, so this is forefront on my mind when playing the game, lol. We need more kids' things in the game, and preferably CRAFTABLE so that we can have them laying around in our houses, etc.
I've done some research and watched some lectures on Medieval toys, so I know these are historically accurate.
Hobby horses (stick horse) - both toddlers and young kids could play with them and be seen galloping around the village (and possibly also waving their swords while doing so!).
Possible recipe: 1 log, 1 leather, 1 wool, 1 thread, 1 straw
**Ball **- made of leather and stuffed with wool. Could be thrown or kicked by the kids.
**Hoop and stick **- we can already make wagon wheels - let us make a simple hoop that kids can run along with a stick.
Swing - pretty self-explanatory. I'm sure it wouldn't be possible to attach them to trees, so it would need to have an A-frame made of logs.
Toy boats - could be used with washtubs! Imagine how cute it'd be seeing the toddlers and little kids squatting by the washtub watching their little boats float around!
And last, but not least, a PUPPET SHOW! It could be a little stand built of planks and linen fabric, and someone could interact with it to do the puppet show, and all of the little kids would gather to watch and giggle. Big mood-booster!
