It could be something like sitting on a chair, so that we get to hold the baby but cannot take it hunting with us.
"Let me hold the baby for a moment dear", the spouse handing over the baby and us being "locked" in place with the baby and the spouse standing next to us waiting for us to ~~cancel the animation~~ hand the baby back to them

That and the ability to pet the animals. I tell my wife its amazing we haven't been home for nearly 3 months and he's doing just fine lying in his crib. We personally would like to see some interaction with the baby rather than it being a piece of furniture in the corner that we look at once or twice a year.
