#Slider to adjust length of days not just seasons

Before yall jump on me saying it's been discussed before i just spent over an hr looking and scrolling to see any discussion on it. with no luck but i am sure it has been brought up before i just can't find it.

While i understand there is a slider for season length and some people like to play 1 day seasons some like 30 day seasons and many are in between and that is fine to each their own. What i would like to see and i have seen other places outside of discord is people asking for if can we possibly get a slider for the length of days?

It can be a little jarring and annoying watching clouds and time go by at mach jesus and also frustrating when you wake up for the day cook something grab your your axe and walk 200 meters to go chop tree's or do whatever and its getting dark already (yes i know a little exaggeration but can feel that way) because the time is hard set at like 1 minute per second or close to.

I would like to see some sort of slider where we can change the timescale slower for those that want to immerse themselves better or don't want to walk 5 feet and have 5 hrs go by (over exaggeration i know but feels that way sometimes).

Just something like maybe normal , 1/2 speed, realistic speed or something like that, or even a 4th option 2x speed for those players that want mach 50 for everything!

it's just my suggestion at this time please don't flame me for it because i couldn't find previous discussions on it

I completely agree! I also think it'd be great if the day length varied based on the seasons!

YES! In Skyrim I set the timescale to 10 vs the default 20. Would love that option in MD.

I would much rather prefer longer days than more days per season. The day and night cycle is too fast 😦

in late-game, after the story line quests are all done, I find myself wishing for shorter days so that my days, seasons, and years can tick by quicker so that I can more quickly watch my heir and the children in the villiange/town/city grow. Most things are automated and I am not in need of doing hard labor and I am waiting for the next exciting thing which for me is starting to make the children apprentices and then old enough to marry and ultimately, to take over as the heir. At this pace, the game is taking forever just to progress a few seasons. I hesitate to go to one-day seasons because I am concerned about the food in the food storage going bad more quickly but maybe that is what I need to do.

Add a "fast forward" button. Many times I complete the items I wanted to do for that day, but have to wait for the timer to finish before I can go to sleep and start a new day. On these days, I would like the day to end early so I can move on to the next day. This would be one way to adjust the length of the day.
