When the overall selection decreases, it could be much more viable to have new models in place that generate only one stem at a time for real. That would guarantee much better music stems too. Generating pure singing (at least for solo voices) might work better by not using an end to end diffusion approach, but some sort of VITS-RVC combo. Kind of like XTTS is working, as its generating an f0 curve for the vocoder (based on the text input). That way they could even let users have complete control over the melody in the end.

If I get commercial rights for one song (the one I download), am I allowed to register that song in YouTube Content ID, or is Content ID strictly prohibited on the Free plan even for that one commercial-licensed song?

How are you suppose the get one commercial song right? You only get them be subscribe to a plan.
When you "download it anyway" you don't have any rights on it. So no, you can't do your Youtube Content ID stuff etc.
The Upgrade Button isn't for one song, it's a link to their sub-plans. If you can afford 10 bucks, for a month, you get 2500 credits and all songs you create with it, can you regist as YT Content ID stuff and so on.

When you do, try remaster your song to the better model v5. Depending on the song it will be much better.

I’m trying to create songs in Suno that use both male and female vocals, and what I need is a way to assign which specific lines or sections should be sung by the male voice and which should be sung by the female voice.
I’ve already tried adding labels like [Male], [Female], [Male Vocals], [Female Vocals], marking sections such as Verse/Chorus with gender tags, and using prompts like “male and female duet.” However, Suno still tends to mix or swap the voices unpredictably, or sometimes uses only one voice for the entire track.

that's totally your call. if you want the extra credits, extra features, WAV downloads, and ownership of your songs, then sure it's worth it. If you decide to go ahead, just make sure you set it to monthly if that's what you want. It defaults to annual, and a lot of problems people have is they accidentally buy the yearly subscription and then want a refund which can take a while.

Highly speculative, busy, and chaotic interior of a hoarder's double wide mobile home in the year 3000. Assume rurality, maximalism, and clutter. So I'm just here to say that, after having started off with Suno in v3 and making a few prog rock albums where it took hundreds of gens to get remotely close to what I was looking for...I'm having trouble choosing between 2 generations of v5 to figure out which one most perfectly represents what I was wanting in the first place. Quantom leap between them, and that's great.

Now if v5 could just remaster my old v3.5 songs to make them sound great without actually changing notes and guitar tone in the process...that would be wonderful.
