Now when I click the ... menu Create Person is greyed out. Says cant make persona from uploaded audio. Even though the instructions say to do it that way.
If I like a voice on one of my tracks how to I make a persona of just the vocal so it doesnt make the whole new song sound like the old one?

1. Keep in mind this server is primarily community-based. There is no official Suno support team here and account-related issues will get you directed to email the appropriate department (usually either support or billing)
2. If you think the community can help you, do not be afraid to ask. #📚┃suno-school is used for helping develop a prompt to get your inputs to get what you want, and #archived-ticket-help is the general channel to well, get other help.
3. Support is swampped due to recent issues. Since you emailed them 2 weeks ago I suspect you may receive a response within two more weeks. (If you email them now with a new issue, it will likely take even longer due to the backlog created when AWS went down...)

honestly I haven't found 4.5 and 5 wildly different. In 5 I did find it was capable of more melodic complexity which is nice, in both the instruments and vocal range

4.5 songs needed a bit of a bass boost pre-production, but overall the quality was more consistent. 5 has better mixes, but at times you will get a song with low fidelity and muffled sounds

prompts/genres seemed to have changed a bit too. I used to like creating japanese jazz fusion in 4.5+ which was nice and cute, but if I use the same prompt in 5 I get hiromi jazz demons (not a bad thing, but not what I was after)

overall, I'd say v5 is technically an upgrade, especially with original uploaded scores. It's capable of creating better melodies than before

After 100 "full artistic liberty" gens in v4.5all (a.k.a. Whitespace Instructions), my experience with it, versus all the other models, is very clear, and expressible in two words that come to me with each and every track: Painfully Yamaha.

Sounds good enough, but the synthlines are straight out of the auto-accompaniment module of a pro-sumer grade Yamaha keyboard... I wonder if there are prompting methods that could suppress this apparent default, or whether that's just the nature of 4.5all's training?

Also, noticing with instrumental tracks, 3.5 tended to create melodic leads where the lyrics would have been. True, a few genres would also inject unwanted "pseudo-lyrics" (looking at you, metal and synthwave/darkwave! <growl>) but that's another story. With 4.5all, at least half of the instrumental tracks seem more like full tracks with the microphone muted. This is intriguingly perfect for studying the track and adding your own lyrics (or solo lead) later! However, I just have to think that such a differentiation might be good as a useful toggle option.

I love this idea. There was an old app back in the day that had this with spotify, it was amazing. There were different rooms that represented different music genres, anyone could start a room and name it what they want. People join and can chat / listen along. At the top center showed users and their avatars in line to play their song, sometimes there may only be 2-3 people queued up, sometimes it would be 10, etc. I think they put a max on how many people could queue to keep the line down. Users had a separate box where they could scroll through their spotify playlists or search for bands and pick the song they want to queue, so you could change your song while you're waiting in line. It was a LOT of fun because everyone gets their moment to share their song and people can enjoy it together. Really had a strong community vibe and was a great way to meet people who liked similar music to you.
