People that have tried multiple image / video generators, do you have any favorites? I have tried Midjourney, At least in my experience LeonardoAI, and hailuo now. LeonardoAI has lots of different models with different strengths and weaknesses, Midjourney does really good 1980s style dancing, and hailuo has really good character consistency. Thoughts on those or any other generators?

for videos i like kling, for images i also use midjourney but some concepts are hard for it to grasp, so i sometimes make one in gpt or gemini firs. but i also do a lot local in comfyui

qwen and flux are also options with some online services

midjourney 8 might be a big jump and should sttill come out this year but i figure again it won't be the best in prompt following

huh well not for me but it adds other random stuff. its bad that the --no parameter doesn't work proper in the latest model. midjourney is best for the wide range it can create, often have to generate a lot and then vary the good stuff or use as style

maybe first try to get a style you like without the specifics yet and then use it like if you want more like a photo, comic and such

I have been using it all for free in AI Studio without an API key but I don't get what all I get with a subscription. Their materials all seem very focused on either programmers or VEO3 video making.

While I'd love access to VEO3 I can't at that price right now.

Has anyone else noticed that the stems have ridiculously improved stereo imaging? I don't know when it happened, but I working on a mix and noticed the audio has a LOT more dynamic shifts between channels.

One of my bass lines actually has a wave-like shift across L and R on the whole mix, panning the audio around the listener.

I hadn't even touched the pan yet, it's kinda cool that this has been fleshed out.

It seems to be popping that up for me right now but errors like this from user to user are typically a memorized cache or cookie setting by your browser

This wouldn't matter between work and home if you are logged into the browser as the same user in both places because the settings are saved to your user profile for the browser then and they will port to any location you log into the same browser, etc.

Because live players of websites typically use cache to track your behavior, use fingerprinting techniques to model your behavior even when you're not logged in, reduce buffering of cached audio files, create scripts and stylesheets that load faster across platforms, etc.

So the player is almost certainly caching settings and using cookies to remember playback settings, preferences, etc.

It would be terribly inefficient as a web dev of a site playing songs to NOT do this. You would have to load every one of your own songs any time you wanted to play them without this.

Well, unless when they were not in incognito it fingerprinted your patterns and relayed that to the instances of your browser independent of your user login

This way they can optimize behavior for you without collecting your information specifically (an attempt to honestly be efficient while also respecting the privacy - though that could be fully contested as dishonest as Google has lost lawsuits over)

Hmm...I mean, edge is identical to the chrome browsers too. But using a mix of them shouldn't have that issue. I still stand by the reset of cache and cookies as the first sort of response to something like this.

There's a chance that they are leeching off of one another as well in that they are petitioning one another for settings to fingerprint the user so that they can best accommodate preferences. Again, another normal sort of process for webdev

I mean sure, caching a setting makes sense, but on that machine, not across machines, since i deliberately set my surface to not auto play, but my desktop to auto play, during the times im using my desktop or surface there's reasons i want it set that way, so i deliberately set it differently and it worked that way, it still works that way, but sometimes on my desktop i turn it on or off, both are stuck that way, so its not syncing that across the devices
