The new 4.5 model(s) make it easier to convey style almost as lore and maybe even lore by segment, so you might see what you can extrapolate from the lyrics and the vibe and add some spice from that

I like to give tracks a mastering pass, and the new stems are amazing for that. I've also mixed and spliced things as necessary when Suno just refuses to cooperate.

I tend to pull the stems then open them as seperate tracks in reaper and (usually) keep the drums as-is and re-record all the guitar, bass and synth parts myself. I stay away from vocals, preferring instrumental music or recording my own manually.

I'm enjoying messing with the stems, chopping them up in Reaper and then re-recording the instruments. It's become another way for me to come up with ideas. Download Cakewalk by Bandlab, it's a free DAW, so much more powerful than audacity. You could even pull the individual stems in and get really detailed with the mix.

My tips for anyone making music. Buy a budget audio interface (you can get a Behringer one for so cheap). Get some reference headphone like a budget pair of AKG closed backs. An OK laptop will do the trick. Then buy other bits as you go over a period of time.
