I have been using Suno now for a year and a half and have written over 3000 songs so I think I’ve got it down pretty well but it’s frustrating that every other week it seems like your format changes. Extending a song used to be easy but now it’s hardly necessary because there’s so much longer. There was a song where I wanted to put some instrumentation at the end of the song because there was none and when I tried to extend it, I cannot figure it out. It’s not like it used to be. They seem to be two options to extend either outside of editing or inside of it neither of which I can figure out and after an hour of trying, I give up.. is there anywhere I can go that keeps track of format changes and gives you instructions on how to do things when they do change. How can I edit? What do I have to do because I can’t make it work, and if you can’t offer an explanation here, can you tell me where to go to get one?

One other question if you go to extend the song inside of editing, do you have to go through the replacement option first before you go to extend. Right now, I can get the extend option to light up, but when I try to add it to the end of the song, the song remains the the same length so nothing happens

i just use extend through the remix menu. the edit mode is not my usual domain. extend, cover and all the other tools work like usual, they just got a new coat of paint and now allow to disable that other users work on your songs. Just the layout has changed with the addition of this new way to allow the interactions between users.

there may be some things that can change in the future. its all new and grows with its tasks.

I mainly do the high fantasy stuff you know like lord of the rings and wizards etc... but we went and tried out some different systems... This one was quite cool by a company called Profound Decisions. The event was called "Odyssey".. based in a traditional ancient world, Greeks Romans Persians etc... most of the fighting took place in an arena full of spectators like a mini Colosseum...🤘

In the first fight they got destroyed quickly, so in the rematch they bumped the stats up and gave them special powers, so we got our asses handed to us! 🤣 .... Only one man left standing. That's great, it looks 100% the same as what we do in the UK.... Its such a great hobby for getting out in the fresh air and running around (and having a break from "yourself").... I was quite chubby when i started LARP but lost weight really quickly from all the activity..... Our events now are typically 24-36 hours, and sometimes you get a bed to sleep in, but when we started I slept on the floor in caves, up trees, in a marsh etc... Describe in the style, you have 1000 characters, in details the vibe of the music, musical terms help, the instruments, the type of rhythm, everything. For more advanced uses I would try to check the songs of other users and experiment

Like other AI, prompting is a big part, and it's not always simple

But with 4.5 it is now a lot easier

You can also try to write very simple prompt for style and click the magic wand to have suno try to expand it, for ideas

You can upload audio you own the rights to, then you can cover that audio like any other songs on suno. If vocals are detected on the audio, you won't be able to make that song public on suno or make a persona out of it. (Or any song that use that audio as a base)

But you will still be able to link those songs (for sharing)

You can upload yourself playing an instrument, or even you hitting a table and suno will make songs out of it

Yeah the first one gives you first priority the rest are now carnival Rigged. Its a common practice where the AI knows to keep you online then tries to make bad renders so you can purchase the credits for it, then it will start going at certain percentage of how well you describe it.
