You can't upload audio to tack on as an extension, I'm afraid what you're doing is turning off the extension option and replacing it with the upload

I recommend looking into vocal cloning/swapping programs/services, like RVC Models.
You can use those programs to swap to the voice you want more consistently (even recording/making your own via personal RVC model files).

That way, you can almost guarantee the sound of your AI song rather than leaving it to chance.
There should be a few services reviewed by AI Reviewers on YouTube, like about kits.ai from Bob Doyle

Need to ease the transmission into the new clip, anyone got an app that's good for that kind of stuff? I could slap it into audacity but I can only upload 120 seconds to suno.

You could stitch your two parts together (any daw), upload back to Suno, then use the replace function to smooth out the transition. Then plug in back to the full song (a bit makeshift but it could make it sound more natural at least).

Right, you just need the bit you want to transition better. So, 20 seconds before the switch, 20 seconds after, then you transition 10 seconds. So if it's a 40 second clip, you'll be transitioning somewhere like from 15 seconds to 25 on the timestamp. With the replace

The 200 char style is for tight, specific influences likely to be in the model. Meta instructions (or meta tags] allow you to communicate directions and nuances that are parsed both before the lyrics and if you're lucky will also respond to them in sequence in the order they appear throughout lyrics.

If you pay close attention to a few rules, you can create a kind of complete thorough checklist and the ai will get as far down the checklist as it can

Well that's a pretty sad song i think the best thing you could do would be ask in general Suno what everyone thinks works. This is slightly uncharted waters, there isn't any assurance, so it's more art than craft and more craft than random, so to get it to work i would say skim over the lyrics just look at the meta tagging and then ask in general, and then maybe spend time trying to see what does and doesn't come out in people's examples and experimenting on your own
