the best part about Suno is as soon as there is an Apache 2.0 equivalent model that competes with them, they already have the infrastructure in place to almost "plug and play"

for example the new model YuE that's an open source Apache 2.0 model, once they release their paper and reveal more of their dataset, Suno could make YuE available under the Create -> Model versions

depending on how compute/VRAM efficient it is vs their current models adjust credits accordingly - could be a huge value-added service

Krita is like photoshop but then free and also great in combination with the krita ai diffusion plugin https://github.com/Acly/krita-ai-diffusion. You can generate images or parts of image and combine. Also editing images using the plugin works perfect.

Draft versions of the tracks are done for my upcoming Album "Implausible", which is really a bit of fun between myself and my collaborator, its also great experience for him being only 15 years old (Feat. Hayden) writing some absolutely incredible lyrics, we are very excited to release this upon the unsuspecting public :D. Its a mixture of pop songs with some other influences, different tempos, arranged in a way which has calm moments and exciting songs aswell throughout the tracks, maybe another week or 2 while I try to get artwork finished, mastering completed, and normalization correct from track to track ontop of real life.

There's no shimmer and was created before v4 existed so if it's Suno it's possibly v3.5 or maybe v3.

Hey guys!! I did it, reverse engineered my first SunoAI song:

• I stripped down all the layers and basically reverse engineered everything
• I wanted to examine what kind of production techniques/structure the AI decided to implement
• I tried to get as close as I can to the AI but obviously I can't replicate the exact mix (especially the artifacts that SunoAI generates)
• the experiment was to understand how the AI thinks, and what I can learn from it in my own production workflow
• as a professional/industry music producer, I started to notice patterns that the AI does that's very common in certain genres they go for
• I also picked up a lot of tricks and techniques I would have never thought of (like extra notes for harmony, ghost notes, drum fills, the use of certain instrument layers and accent sounds)
• Part of what mades a lot easier to accomplish was using samples from Splice, which is a famous sample library used in a lot of pop songs

I think I understand now...
So it looks like AI thinks that a 'fuller' mix and more balanced mix is better (basically as little black sections as possible). This rule is generally true when is comes to audio engineering, is that when you are mixing for the commercial realease, you wanna fill in as much of the 'black space' in a spectrogram so that it's comercially loud and sounds good [the is the process called mastering]. Songs over the years, especially with the introduction of mastering plugins, plugins and digital audio workstation, has made music more louder and fuller in the mix (especially during the 2010s - 2020s, the mixing got more intense fuller, and more crisp]. Now it seems the AI knows about this so it tries to fill in those frequencies according to its understanding of music in general.

yeah shimmer is basically just a granular effect. you can get similar results with certain VSTs too like Cymatics Dark Sky or even Valhalla Shimmer. but layering chimes with compression is good too

it all comes down to how you play with the spectral morphing settings and the warp modes you mentioned. you can always make something sound dirty and squelchy in serum. especially if you have some good effect generators like Sasuage Fattener or FilterShaper XL

yessir and sausage fattener is simple but does work. could also use Camel Crusher. filter shaper XL is more for advanced modulation but basically lets you draw custom LFOs for shaping frequencies over time. dragging images into Serum is fun but the results are unpredictable. the Skrillex bass ended up sounding gnarly as hell
