You do have to wonder how such a bug made it past beta release. However, as a web developer myself, I have a couple theories. I've had a couple moments where something worked on my end but didn't for 90% of others when testing came around. So not as uncommon as one thinks. Another theory could be timing. Perhaps it's a bug they realized would be very complicated to fix, and they were on a deadline to get the beta out.

I'm not going to hold it against them though. It's a beta, point blank. Now if they didn't say it was beta/alpha/etc, then I would be much more critical of Suno for it.

Painfully so, but nothing since their discord froze. I bought a 1-year subscription, got maybe a month in and then the app collapsed and deleted half my stuff randomly. I’m just trying to get a refund but l can’t get in touch with the developers and they deleted my customer support ticket from their discord without ever contacting me or resolving anything.

I heard talk of a class-action lawsuit but never heard if that turned into anything.

Suno responded to this in a way that made the songs less usable for them, so they started using Udio who also seem to be doing things to stop Donna AI from using it. Donna then seemingly started deleting users songs, prevented new users from seeing the discussion channels when joining Discord, removed their app from the play/app store, and now locked Discord down so nobody can talk there.

It looks like they've just run away tbh.

I’m actually much more hopeful now knowing that Donna was a scam because my bank is super helpful with scams and such, but since l voluntarily paid for something instead of my card numbers getting stolen it might not work out, but it’s worth a shot.

Hell yeah, man -- keeping busy, but even feeling great about my downtime as well-- Suno got me making music again after a 7 year gap, and recently that lead to me getting songs stuck in my head with the same intensity that I used to, so I'm back to learning songs on guitar as a way of "working them out".

It's satisfying in a way that's familiar but entirely novel to sit down & work out how to play a song that you'd already consider "yours" in a sense -- being able to play it makes it more real.

Preferably a service that makes it possible to clone a singing voice from a recording of someone's regular speech (not singing).

For example, if I wanted to clone my own voice and make it sing a random pre-existing song of my choice.
