It is likely you have way too much profanities or you are giving violent-like imagery (which is something GPT is trained to deny) or the like.

We can't know the exact backend,cbut basically in my head cannon (lol) the lyrics are effectively a controlnet on another model

And so basically, since in remasters we can't adjust style

We have to work with what we do have to see if we can help the model generalize

Which leads to part 2: the model is artifacting, which usually means weak or strong signal

Similar to artifacting you'd get in image gen with too high or too low cfg at resolutions higher than spec

If you dial it in right, you can do it without artifacting though

Anyway, so the lyrics changes on the song

1. alter the remaster (easy enough to prove via a/b testing, you can just do a remaster after deleting lyrics and see what happens)
2. generalization is affected by metatags

Which are tags placedi j lyrics

So basically I found that if I changed the spacing on a lyrics sheet

I could slowly fix shimmer

But I didn't have a way to make that easy without basically telling people to do something tedious

So I figured, if we just repeat the lyrics in different ways, with lots of variation, this will likely help avoid overfitting on a particular format by the model

Which in my experience with other models, allows one to go over spec

Ie make images at higher res natively

And I figured that would prob translate

And it did

So that's basically the explanation

And this was something I could sys prompt a gpt to do

So that made it a useable candidate, and yea. Theres more that can be done, especially if they open up the actual style to adjust

That would allow us to osscilate the style, and likely shimmer could be removed more easily

I tend to work on a single song a LOT until it’s finished. So almost always, there’s a keeper. But I’ll make hundreds of base tracks, then when I extend/cover/whatever, I’ll make a dozen versions of each of those edits. Sometimes I’ll even get a song almost where I like it, then cover to to basically start over but with a much more fine tuned slate to begin on. If that makes sense. Also, I really love testing things, so I pretty much always do more than necessary.
