atm, I believe the answer is : none that don't require heavy prompting and working in batches of a couple dozen seconds at most. Might be wrong, shit does go fast. But basically, you're still better off "storyboarding" and hacking at it manually if I didn't miss something huge

If you're able to fine tune or automate yourself, you'd likely be able to build a custom and costly pipeline for your project though ! I don't think it's as easy as udio or suno as a service to output yet

3. I love music. Hobby, or otherwise. Making money off it is nice; rewarding. Main goals are to create some thing for people to listen too. Some people need that in their life. Some want it. It also helps with expression, as music always has, and for that I am grateful for it's existence. As for prompting, I do believe it is a skill set. I'm sure some would discredit it, but like any other tool-tech.. It definitely has a skill set. That being said, I think it's fair some people might be willing to create things for businesses and I do hope businesses wish to hire them for such things. Negotiating for artists' work has always been their line of living after all.

yea, broadly sdxl is usually upressed with hires.fix. Kohyas implementation recently is amazing, and gives superior results than even what i have above, but again, it still uses tricks to manipulate the model directly by downsampling and producing a blocky 1024x1024 image for the first 1/3 of the generation, and then letting the model do the rest at full res. So it's really the best of bith worlds.

What makes the above unique is it maintain consistency at resolutions where normally it would produce abominations with 30 fingers and four heads bc it's essentially tiling. But when the prompt is "smoothed" your headroom increases massively, specifically around 2.5x ppi

I'm trying to correct the distortion in the vowels, where the words mostly depend on - iii, eee or aaa - parts. But I'm not able to achieve this in anyway.

Tried that. Deesser is not working, even with the stems. It's smoothing S, T, D, etc, not the vowels.
Tried a few EQs on top of each other, felt ok in monitors, but with low quality headphones and in the car, the distortion is till there.

Hey @umbral lance responding to your earlier message (#💡┃suggestions-web message) here since it is more off-topic than should be in suggestions.

I agree with your first paragraph you mostly ("According to US Copyright ai music using human ie. your own lyrics with ai music that is created and arranged by a human is fully Copyright-able, both the music, and the lyrics.").

If the music (i.e. not considering the lyrics provided but all the other elements) was edited to a significant degree, it will likely be considered for copyright due to sufficient human contribution.

However, if you used the music generated as-is, your lyrics would be protected under copyright BUT all other elements (which were solely generated by AI and did not have any human modification) would NOT be covered under copyright.

In the webinar you had linked (which, btw, what did you wanted to point out to me?), I took a look through the transcript and they gave an example of a case where an author used an AI image generator for their comic book which found most of the creation (e.g. writing and how the various comic book elements were compiled [layout]) were copyrightable as it was derived from human contribution BUT the images themselves were NOT considered for copyright protection as it was not made from a human, being pure AI generative (see first image attached, colour scheme: blue = emphasis, yellow = background, green = covered by copyright, red = denied copyright)

In the policy statement made in 2023 March 16 (second image, also pinned in #💬┃general-chat message), they basically state the same

But if you are simply rearranging the music, from inferencing what the second image states, the music itself would not be copyrightable (thus other people can use/modify it how they wish) BUT the way you arranged it would be protected (so others cannot use the specific arrangement you had). At least that is what I gather.

In any case, your lyrics would at least be covered by US copyright so long as it was not solely AI generated as you stated before... as long as you filed the necessary paperwork of course 🙂

Actually, maybe not so true about the first part about the significant edit portion of the music? Gah, so confused about this part:

According to the 2nd blue highlight in the 2nd image, the music would still be considered as being non-copyrightable by humans as it was generated from an AI.

However, if you had used something like FL studio and basically remade the work and voice over... the new composition of the music would be copyrightable by you but (pretty sure legally) you would need to disclose the source , so would that affect the copyright of the remade music becauae it would affect the copyright status of the AI generated music? But it would have none so... 🤔
