Yeah a few people have, including me.
I expect it'd be quite difficult to combine the two (from a technical perspective, since they use entirely different models) even though the result could be really good.
Competition is good to have though, as both services will make their own improvements and probably be influenced by what the other is doing successfully.

I just finished watching the whole thing, it's actually better than it first appears haha. She does mention the difference between something that is entirely AI created verses something that also has original elements. At first I thought she was glossing over stuff, but by the end of it they do get covered.

And towards the end, the guy that comes on makes a lot of decent points. I know that Suno is great for the melody whereas Udio is great for the voices (but the latter gives me styles I do not like when I tried it out)

They are free at the moment so try it out

Yeah its vocals are really nice. "a capella" wants to give multiple vocalists a lot which is annoying at times (I'm trying to tease it into repeating an isolated vocal so I can sample it) to the extent I ended up basically with Pentatonix performing

If it's a constant occurence and has been debilitating, consider being serious about that, humans are wired for hype and motivation, getting those dopamins and endorphins sooo easily, and you should get your share !

Thanks a bunch ! I actually had to learn a lot about myself on the way. Odd thing is, every good decision was made because I felt firmly contrarian to common sense advice. Weird profiles happen :p So it took an entire reset of everything in my life to clear up the view ! Started by learning about psychology and mostly neurology right ? But then you realize how so many systems interact, and how you have so many ways to, errr, I need an idiom... peel your eggs ?
For me, it was clearly setting up a weird diet that somehow works better (lots of peanut butter and only "proteiny" breads and snacks when I use them).

Could then actually build up muscle mass while on the budget of someone whose health acted up for 10 years with no clear explanation ;p

I've been refining some hallucinated vocals over there. It's given me some nice bits of a song that I want to work on, but they're all separate fragments that I need to somehow glue together 😄 within each ~30 second clip things can sometimes sound really awesome but the melodies can be all over the place, and it's quite hard to keep it from wandering off in a different direction when extending. Extending "before" usually gives me completely unrelated trash that barely transitions in a pleasant/expected way.

So for my needs, it's OK because I'm just going to sample stuff from it, but I wouldn't attempt to make a meaningful, complete song.

Also, I find myself humming a tune sometimes and think "where's that from?" and then remember it's something I generated with Suno.

@strange gorge Here's a still image from a ~3 hour drive on Autopilot in the rain with poor visibility. It had a clearer view of the road than I did.
Not that this really proves anything regarding safety (I just found it interesting that it coped well with it.) It does do really stupid things like try to take exits or panic when it sees a shadow in the road.

They added some additional attentitiveness checks a few months ago which was amusing to hear about - people were trying to fiddle around with their phones etc. and it just denies you the use of the feature for a week or so if you keep being distracted by stuff 😄

Yes, this.
I've gone for something along the lines of "filmscore, fantasy, female vocals, dramatic, emotive" and it delivers that really well with hallucinations.

Eventually I managed to strip most of the instrumental off and the octave-lower harmony to get a clean, very passionate/loud singing "aaaaaaahhhh" (which is what the chipmunk thing evolved from) that I can stem split easily.

If you're just trying to get samples, it's interesting to try to convince the AI to repeat something and strip away layers lol

Suno quality is enough for me. I recently made a song and uploaded it to YT. The quality dropped significantly from raw suno and then capcut. The upload was horrible. The rest sounded amazing.

To be fair, this is the kind of things it gives when it's behaving. If you ignore the excessively long high-pitched string in this example it's quite nice.

My library is mostly filled with wrong turns though where it randomly decides that it needs to switch things up.

It has quite a nice mix/mastering. I've said a couple of times in the past: where Suno has a scratchy sound on smooth things like vocals, Udio struggles more with sharp things like percussion (which becomes watery.)

That's really a really good description of Suno and an understanding of their audio. So I assume you're probably right about Udio too.
