Strangely, even the new Eleven labs voices seem to have issues with long term degradation like most of the fancy AI models, but as far I know it's not continuously feedbacking the audio every clip. But it must be saving something over time. Strange. They must be trying to do something smart to incorporate longer-term context in very long texts. But I can't really hear it.

I don't understand how sampling one token at a time can do a decent job approximating the most likely total sequence. a handful of 25 or 50 token chunks, even sort of randomly chosen different paths, feels like a good way to go. I believe that a possible future path for the "internet of things", for example with AI (like Alexa and the Google Assistant), will be to create NANO models, restricting the range of options to what really matters and leaving out what is generic, in order to optimize performance on modest hardware. Apple is moving in this direction with iOS18, to create a local model that doesn't need internet.
Even Ultra models have tried to optimize to generate more with fewer resources. Yesterday I was taking a look at NVidia's AI for RTX cards.

The problem in the case of Alexa and the Google Assistant is... are they interested in creating a local model of this, without control of their servers?

One thing I did figure out about them is that if you use Glaze on the high setting, it'll remove any internal stable diffusion watermarks, and change up the noise pattern in a wa that'll pass hive detection as "organic" which is really funny.

Perhaps because in the future the long years of university training for specialization should be disregarded just so that... a computer geek can edit videos without ever having studied for it and without understanding any of the theory? On the other hand, it's what's between the lines that scares me. If the idea is to reduce costs, why would a company need to hold $7 trillion in its hands to survive? OpenAI's profit was around $2 billion last year, if I'm not mistaken. There's something wrong with that.

So I see there is a little discussion about Sora in here. I think there is going to be something. I've tried to use Pika and Runway for videos and the results came out very poor normally. Looking at the results from OpenAI, even the less cherry picked ones are amazing. Like, their mistakes are better than most models good results.

Plus, 15 seconds of video at a time for each section of a song, maybe just showing a band playing based on an image you feed it. Imagine regenerating the same image a few times to get different b-roll of the band playing, while cutting to different scenes for the music video.

That's basically been my method for the music videos I have. I get a bunch of clips and edit based on that.

Granted I'm working with clips that are between 3-5 seconds long. 15 seconds would be a luxury...

The two lyric videos are really very basic despite how good they work.

I started with an image and then I used Midjourney to remove the charatcers from the image. I used the resulting background image as a backdrop and then in iMovie took the images I animated and weaved them between the static image and the aimated ones. Then it was just a matter of adding the lyrics.

Now the actual music video videos? Yeah those took time to crank out the clips. I generally don't feel comfortable unless I have at least double the play time in clips as the song I'm using. I may not use all the footage but I want as much of it as I can get.

I feel like to do that, the custom gpt would have to use the script portion of the gpt to generate images outside the base chatgpt (since it's a struggle to make it do more than one at a time, unless you can in those scripts) then send those images to a 3rd party API to combine / morph them whatever. not as easy as most people go for when making a custom gpt, and likely trash quality, while probably not always working, but could™️ be done?

The first one worked well, but when I extended the 4-second video for another 4 seconds, it changed her face to be someone else.
The effect is cool, but not what I wanted.

1. T&A works.
2. Futuristic images of cars and cityscapes work.
3. Mentioning the 80's works
4. Putting Titles in the image works.

but earlier, I would just do a thumbnail & single image, and ppl would click on it, but not stay for the song

If you're wondering how I did this evaluation, here are my steps...

1. do a search for your musical genre.
2. Click on 10+ of the first videos that pop up.
3. Click on those videos' channel names.
4. Click on "Popular" and look at their top videos.
5. Ask yourself what they all have in common.

Do this for ALL the videos you originally clicked on.

What patterns do you see?

In v2 I mastered a lot of songs in bandlabs, and that only takes like...a minute... but v3's good enough now that I dont feel the need to do it most of the time

messing with AI video, though... took a lot of time, and noone cared, or it may have even been detrimental do to lower quality vs similar images

I boost the bass and treble a bit. Then limit and push the level. Aside from that, it's only fades and cuts.

dont take my channel as any sort of advice... there's so many mistakes and course corrections, and like I said, I dont even know if I can get monetized or anything, so... lol

but one thing I've been doing, is foreign language songs with videos targeting my audience demos.... they havent been real successful, but theyre fun to make and I do them once a week

what I've found with the songs with lyrics (especially foreign language ones) is that they have better audience retention than those without, even though the ones without cast a larger net across languages

so that skews my current videos towards those 1-3min sections that are "good enough to share, but not good enough to follow through on"

or they're something that I don't intend to stick with for an album of similar songs, and doesnt have much merit as a single
