BRING BACK model 3.5.

The new 4.5 is impossible to use. Sure, at first it might impress with the richness of its arrangements, but over time you realize it almost never has a main theme, it just throws smoke and mirrors, playing everything indiscriminately, resulting in a truly "gorgeous blandness" like a soundtrack to a random anime. The 4.5 never plays what you ask it to, it always plays only itself.

The 3.5 had its flaws, particularly the noise, but it played exactly what I asked for. Out of 5-10 variants, I always got one track exactly the way I wanted. It understood and used samples, and it mixed correctly. But the 4.5 simply ignores all fragments, all requests, and simply plays the 4.5.

BRING BACK THE CLASSICS. Without the 3.5, I stopped using the site. It's impossible to work with.

i must aggree with that. i barely use 3.5 myself now but gosh i admit it has its charm and produced some of the best pieces i've ever done, things i don't think i could ever reproduce with later versions. besides with 3 and 3.5 i was not afraid to do tones and tones of extentions cause the audio and style managed to remain the same, while it has become harder and more obscure with later models and especially sliders. now adays i always try to do a one shot song cause i don't want to dive into extentions and having to touch sliders i don't really want there.

I’m blind and someone of you guys has recommend me the suno.com/me/v2 website. I tried to browse my library on this website, but it doesn’t seem to work anymore. This library look like the other website that I’ve just mentioned before in my last message. I’m using Google Chrome but it doesn’t work on suno.com/me. so I just used Firefox. I’ve tried out the V2 website of suno on Firefox, but it doesn’t work like in Google Chrome. Long story short I can’t see my songs on the library on Google Chrome and on Firefox. Did you try Shift-click etc to multiselect? Ctrl-A could be a natural "select all" on Windows. Having a separate "select/deselect all" checkbox in the top (songs/playlist/personas) row would also feel natural. Or a "select/deselect all (in view)" button next to the "clear filter" button. I think that's giving more control/clarity than the "empty trash" suggestion, although that would be less clicks. The risk/unclarity is if discarding files not in view/filtred out might surprise someone.

We gotta ease up on the vocal riffing at the beginning of EVERY song generation. It's SUPER played out. Dozens of songs generated and EVERY single one has some kind of vocal melody riffing at the start. I'm not the only one dealing with this either. It's very much a dead giveaway just like reading "it's not x; it's y" when reading AI gen text. I know I can stem it all out and fix it in a DAW but it'd be a nice option to have that backed off.

When generating new track variants (versions), covers, extensions, and other variations, I suggest not adding these names to the track name but displaying them as a separate line below the title. This way, the track name will always remain clear and won't exceed the maximum length, but it will still be possible to trace the track's full creation history. In a separate track history line, you can make links clickable to jump to a specific "ancestor" and even provide a quick listen button for each "ancestor." You can also use the track version (v.1 ... v.N) as the first link in the history to differentiate generated tracks.

Many of us relied on 3.5 for:
• clearer melodic phrasing
• more natural vocal tone

• less randomness in structure

The newer versions feel less controllable and often lose emotional intent,
which hurts creators who need consistency.

Please consider:
– bringing back v3.5 as an optional legacy model
– or offering a “3.5-style” toggle

It would be much clearer if the original artist’s name also appeared directly on every remix card, not just inside the chain. Having Queue as a paying member too is a no-go, guys. I know. The event, ect aka promo and getting more paying customers. Yet: The amount of traffic assumed should always be within limits that don't affect people already investing in you, this can become a bad backlash on long term.

Best case would be to not have a Queue at all, but worst case is to have your customers on-hold for access. This urgently needs to get back under control... The biggest suggestion I have right now is, PUBLIC DOMAIN. Currently, you can not make songs that are in public domain. These are lyrics that are not copyright protected anymore however even when you put them in, they get flagged. I know you guys are using a 3rd party database, but there are other 3rd parties out there you can link specifically to bypass that, so you are talking 10 lines of code to allow public domain lyrics, which would be awesome

Two suggestions

• Have an indicator under song details that show if it has commercial rights or not. If you start at standard and then upgrade it's easy to forget which songs have rights.
• Work on developing the AI's ability to create proper song endings. Currently the songs will just abruptly end and it's not natural at all. Putting [Outro] at the end sometimes helps but is not a guarantee it comes out sounding well.

The ToS states you need to own rights of the material exclusively. Public domain means nobody owns it, which means it can't be exclusive

Like most companies, its an oversight though. There's no legal issues with public domain songs, but legal teams don't tend to look 100 years in the past by default and only worry about protecting themselves against current threats. Most generative companies don't even consider public domain for this reason. Not because it's an issue, but because it's not even a thought that tends to cross their mind. Buuuuut would be super dope to have this sooner than later. In 5 years, the songs that come into public domain are so top notch though, the company that does allow them will get major ammunition against competition, to the point it ill be industry standard for pretty much all generative platforms not just music

However, the issue isn’t variability... it’s a change in the model’s internal behavior.

Previously, the model inferred rhythmic drive, groove intensity, and vocal–rhythm coupling from the same prompts. That inference no longer happens, even with identical inputs.

Remixing copies surface characteristics of an existing song, but it doesn’t restore the generative behavior that allowed creators to develop a consistent sound language.

This isn’t about getting “similar tracks”...it’s about losing predictable cause–effect relationships in the model without versioning.

I have a suggestion that I brought up a few times, I'm sure others have as well.
PERSONAS - please make them actual personas. What I mean is that the song you create the persona out of still "leaks" into the song you are trying to make, often copying the beat, bassline, or vocal pattern, so the new song sounds a bit like the song you took the voice from. I have yet to have this not happen.
STEMS - still want better guitars, especially with distorted guitars for heavy music. It's still a mess, still mostly useless about 80% of the time. You will get synth noise, synth stems that act like a guitar. etc. This is tough, so I can understand this taking a long time.
KIT - if I find a guitar sound I like, or a drum sound I like. I should be able to make a "persona" out of that. I'd call it something simple like "KIT" or "INSTRUMENTS," but this would help with consistency across the board for projects. Or you can give us preferences in the settings before we render, let us pick the guitar, bass, drum sounds we want. Studio does not do this.

Rodent Riot Records isn't just a label. It's a universe. One of the ways I wanted to flesh it out was by doing band members answer "listener questions" style interviews. Improving this i think opens up Suno to more than just AI music but to entire world building.

The process is tedious currently. I have to play guessing games on how to space sentences to match the charecter, then hope it comes out ok or the whole generation is ruined. I don't really have time to devote to it. But it's on the list to expand.

Suno, we, users, would be even happier this year, if you, after 2 longs years, would finally finish

THAT VERY PRIMITIVE FILTER and SEARCH MASK which does not allow us yet to do some basic functions like:

• search for keywords in prompts and verses
• show only full songs which haven't been extended (virgin songs)
• show songs made in a certain interval of time
• hide parts
• hide virgin songs
• show only disliked songs
• do a GLOBAL search posibilty in all working spaces/folders, not only one. If one has a lot of folders and one forgot where he
  put a certain song, it will take 10 minutes to find it the way is it done now.

Add we still miss the crucial possibility to
a) set a song again to unlistened again (reset the red dot)
b) song rating system with 1-3 stars.

And there are probably more useful functions and filters you got a lot of suggestion for, but you ignored them for almost 2 whole years.

All this above I mentioned could be implemented in only 1-2 days by a normal skilled programmer.
And there is a better way of programming filters than your checkboxes now: radio buttons for hide/show for every kind of song. This is more compact and gives a complex functionality so anyone can chose what they want to be displayed.

Just think about how many thousands of songs gather in only one year and how many users waste their time
with such primitive implementations.
12 months x 2000 songs = 24.000 songs.
In 3 years there would be 72.000 songs to manage with your primitive management and search functions.

I have a "Pro Plan" subscription and I've had a negative experience because I want Portuguese (Portugal or European) voices, but in more than 50% of cases, Brazilian voices are displayed. The model says it can't choose, but in reality, Suno is capable of singing in European Portuguese. I've tried everything without success, and I've wasted thousands of credits unnecessarily. Suno's support email doesn't respond at all. Is there any way to get around this voice issue?

was curious if its possible to use the seperate stems on just a single drum track. its a very clean track but im unable to isolate the actual stems from the track. I know that its not possible to do now as when i upload the track and attempt to separate it just gives me the track right back, but to add this feature in a future update would be awesome and save me alot of time manually inputing midi into my daw/ or even replacement in suno's studio. im not trying to replace everything into a new track but to just replace elements in the track itself.

So, the words are always messed up, the instrumentation sounds terrible on a consistant basis, and whenever a barley decent track, like this one is made, it has these weird sounds that happen throughout the track. Adjusting the sliders can have useful effects, but they can also have unwanted side-effects on the audio - especially at the extremes. If you are getting poor results, move the sliders closer to the default positions. The extremes of 100% and 0% are more likely to have side-effects.

I'm part of the Suno team and have had several discussions with our ML engineers regarding sliders. It's known that sliders can produce undesired results when too high/too low. The defaults are tuned for best balance between results/stability. We could reduce the range of the sliders, but that then limits what you have control of.

Yes a new model always did alter a little bit the older model persona. But it was always somewhat recognizable. At v5 though I get an entire new singer
Then the v5 did in 4 generations just speak the verses and only chorus was sung and the songs were all very boring, didnt make a difference if basic prompt or very rich filled lyric prompt which I like to do to get the song idea in my head and less seed random. my last song "Die letzte Runde" 4.5+ did follow all lyric instructions I gave to it. The song was fully made how I had it verse by verse in my head. I'm sooooo happy with it.
but v5 - did speak the verses. Increasing the weirdness to 75% made it finally sing the verses, but still boring song

Suggestion: As Suno matures, it would be great to see a clear Pro/Author tier that focuses on section-level control rather than full re-generation. The ability to lock a chorus, roll new verses or bridges within the same song, and work inside a persistent “song project” would be a game-changer for serious writers. This wouldn’t take anything away from casual users — it would simply let Suno evolve the way GarageBand did alongside Logic Pro: one tool for instant creativity, another for deliberate craft. I’d happily pay more for that level of control, and I think many professional songwriters would too. 😀

I appreciate that Suno and its LLM model “interprets” your prompting, but I’d really like it to be more like your production engineer or band and do exactly what you say.
For example. If I ask it to raise a hi hat level by 2db, and apply a high pass filter sweep on a vocal Id like it to do it not just “interpret my request prompt”. Or ask for a sidechain of the kick applied to the bass.

Anybody have any luck getting Suno to sing a midi melody of a song with specified lyrics/syllables for each midi note?
I currently produce a lot of my songs where I will map out the melody using midi (usually piano as the instrument) in the DAW and then fully produce all the music with it. It actually works really well to tweak and try out different melodies to get the best version. I am not a great singer so I tried running this through Suno with reasonable success but Suno seems to always want to change just enough of it to piss me off and getting a consistent voice/persona through all the versions is frustrating. I do think this would be a very helpful feature if they could build it. I have tried ACE studio, which is basically what I need but it was not great to use and I produce mainly modern country music and their AI voices were not great for that genre. This guy made a video of how he did it and I copied his prompts exactly but again Suno just goes off on a tangent in certain parts of the song and mid/vocal line. I also tried requesting making it an acapella track in the prompt so I just get the vocal singing the notes but it always created a backing track or song for the vocal?? Does Suno not do acapella?
Suno is amazing at getting a great country singer vocals and it sounds authentic and amazing but getting it to sing/do what you want is like herding 72 cats!

Since late November, after the service outage period, the platform’s output quality has significantly degraded. While generation technically works again, the results are largely unusable.

The main issues are: synthetic-sounding and unnatural vocals, excessive pitch artifacts, static or background noise, unstable or “wonky” vocal delivery, and instrumentals that sound incoherent or low-fidelity. Many tracks include strange audio artifacts or muddy, indistinct arrangements that weren’t present before. Overall, the generations now sound overtly “AI” in a way they didn’t previously.

Prior to this period, I was able to consistently generate usable tracks. I never expected perfection, but the platform was reliable and musically convincing. Now it’s difficult to produce anything usable at all, even with the same prompts and workflow.

I’m trying to understand whether this change is intentional (for example, due to model adjustments, safety constraints, or licensing concerns), or whether it’s a temporary degradation that’s actively being worked on. Is this the expected state of the platform going forward, or are there plans to restore the previous level of quality?

Vibe-driven users are an excellent on-ramp, but they are not a stable foundation. They churn with novelty, they do not build catalogs, and they do not anchor ecosystems. Pro users do. Every serious creative platform eventually learns this the hard way: casual users ignite growth, but professionals sustain it. Apple did not survive because of casual consumers alone — it survived because it retained and empowered its Mac power users, developers, and creators long enough to outlast novelty cycles and platform shifts.

Right now, many of Suno’s most committed users are signaling a need for basic professional guarantees: tempo authority, structural reliability, and workflow predictability. Ignoring those signals in favor of vibes may work in the short term, but it creates long-term risk. When growth plateaus — and it always does — Suno will need exactly the users it is currently frustrating: the ones who generate volume, iterate deeply, teach others, and treat the platform as a tool rather than a toy. Please don’t abandon the pro path now. History shows that platforms which sideline their serious users eventually discover they have no one left to build with when novelty fades.

A like on a Hook should also count as a like for the full song if the user hasn’t liked the song yet. Hooks are promotional clips, and Hook views already count as streams for the song.
For example, if a song originally had 10 streams and 5 likes, and months later a Hook gets 2,000 views and 100 likes, the song may show thousands of streams but still only 5 likes. This creates a misleading mismatch.
Counting Hook likes toward the song would better reflect real user interest and create more consistent engagement metrics.

It would be great if there were an option to download the generated lyrics as a separate file. This would be very helpful for editing and saving.

Even when the control strength is set to 100%, some parts still change. If there were a way to mark certain sections as “preferred” or “please don’t modify,” that would be amazing.

A playback speed control (for example, slower or faster listening) would be very helpful when reviewing songs in detail.

For the generated videos, having a few customization options (such as layout or visual style) would make them even more useful.

The male–female duet feature is very interesting, and with a bit more control over voice roles and balance, it could be even better.

It would be great if we could use multiple personas on one song and do something like [Verse, Voice A] {Verse, Voice B] {Chorus, Voice A, Voice B] to make it use them for specific parts. Currently, it's usually possible to get a male + female duet, but good luck trying to get two or more voices of the same gender at all. You typically just end up with the same voice singing in vaguely different tones, and usually layered on itself for the chorus.

Donc moi, j’insiste pas quand il chante faux, je me dis qu’il y a trop de monde. On peut perdre 800 crédits avec ce système.

Ensuite, vos chanteurs / rappeurs, ce serait bien de pouvoir choisir des styles de rappeur, car quand je tape rap j’ai l’impression d’entendre autre chose que du rap et, en performant le prompt, il se peut très rarement que le rappeur rappe correctement. C’est souvent insupportable pour produire des sons de rap. Je propose qu’en plus des styles, vous proposiez des styles de chant de rap, genre we renoi ou Eminem ne rappe pas de la même manière, et c’est impossible de mettre le nom du rappeur pour avoir un style, c’est très frustrant.

Ensuite, la maîtrise des instruments est inégale, il faudrait une jauge pour dire : je veux un débutant qui joue de l’instrument ou un expert. Ensuite le mode studio, ok il faut payer un forfait plus élevé, mais soit c’est 2500 crédits soit 10 000. Leonardo.ai, ils font ça : tu as un système de crédits mais qui ne te limite pas dans les fonctions. Résultat, les gens n’ont pas une expérience optimale.

Ensuite, si je prends le forfait à 2500 crédits, l’éditeur est ultra relou, très difficile à utiliser, l’interface est éclatée et non claire. I have been using Suno Studio for a few weeks now and I am blown away by its capabilities. There is one area where I would like to see improvement though and that is in the generation of stems. Currently Suno approaches this by applying stem separation to the track which it created. I think that they should switch instead to regenerating the track on a stem by stem basis (a bit like their remaster feature but at a stem level). The remaster function already recreates an existing Suno track but enhances it. This new stem generator would do something similar but one instrument stem at a time. One Advantage would be that each instrument stem would be clean with no bleed or muddiness from other stems creeping in. Also multiple stems could be created for the most important elements of the drum kit. Going further, Suno could also offer the option of creating these enhanced stems in 24 or 32 bit resolution. Guitars especially have been pretty bad with a lot of bleed (bass, electric guitars) they usually mash with synth or "other". Right now Remix is ON by default for every new song, and we have to manually turn it off one track at a time. It would be really helpful to have a global setting where creators can choose their default Remix state. Many of us prefer Remix to be OFF by default for privacy, control, and consistency. Feature request: Note-level / pitch editing or MIDI export
I love using Suno for songwriting and demos, but one limitation I keep hitting is not being able to fix specific wrong or wobbly notes in melodies or vocals.
It would be amazing to have either:
• basic note-level pitch editing (piano-roll style), or
• MIDI export for melodies/vocals so we can finish tracks in a DAW

This would massively reduce the need to regenerate full sections and would help creators polish songs instead of re-rolling until it’s right. I think it would especially help Pro users aiming for more “production-ready” results.

Just tested and the commands work for me using the ctrl modifier (Linux/Brave Browser) as well as the navigation keys in the workspace/playlist modal. Have you tried resetting your cache just in case you're not getting the new changes?

web servers often served cached files (older copies) to increase speed to the platform, which saves you having to download the file every single time you visit the page. This can have drawbacks like not getting fresh changes. I don't use firefox myself, but I believe ctrl+F5 on PC forces a refresh, or cmd+shift+R on OSX. I'm not saying it will fix your issue, but it's worth a try. (just make sure you're on the suno page when you do this)

Second: using multiple personas in a single song—this would make musical composers' work much easier.
Third: coloring text based on vocal meta tags.
For example: coloring the male tag, and the model will then stick to the fact that it generates male vocals; coloring the child tag, and the model will stick to the child vocals. And so on, and so forth.

Here's something I think we don't think about often.
A simple randomization button of song lists. Sometimes, with big lists songs are usually sorted by newest so a lot of older songs are lost to the newer tracks, and if you have a lot of songs. Some songs will go completely forgotten.
Not just that, but sometimes playlists get stale when you know what song is coming next, so a simple solution is a random sorting option.

The real reason I came in here - why doesn't the radio cycle user songs? - I realize there's a lot of said users on the site.... so you could drive engagement with user songs who are currently in the radio - still having the radio rotate genres a take a vote - but those could be from the style tags of user songs in the chat/radio.

There's always at least 100+ when I go in there - it would promote the use of it and help drive organic engagement with people in the chat. More people getting more engagement leads to more people creating more stuff and interacting more. Maybe have an opt-in or something; but who wouldnt? I want to build a queue of music and be able to play it... and when the queue is done, don't play random music.

I use my music as background for streaming and I don't want someone else's music suddenly playing on my stream. First, I don't have permission to use other people music. Second, I don't want to cut those parts from my stream. Third, I don't want to have to go digital-detective to figure out what the song was to track down the author and hope they have a premium account and that they'll give me retroactive permission to use it.

Also, sometimes I make a playlist of songs (or versions of the same song) and I want to play them randomly to compare them, and I don't want some other random songs playing just because I get to the end.

So,

• When I play a playlist, those are the only songs I want to hear.
• When the playlist is complete, I want the music to stop.
• An option to randomize play order of the list would fantastic.
• An option to loop the playlist once every song has played, would also be fantastic.

But the most important bit: if I didn't add it to the playlist, I don't want to hear it.

"Multi-Persona Assignment on Timeline."

Currently, creating a song for a group (e.g., a 3-member band) requires using the "Extend" workaround multiple times, which is imprecise and time-consuming.

My Request:
In Suno Studio/Editor, please allow us to assign specific saved Personas to specific lyric blocks or timeline sections.

• Example Workflow:
  • Select [Verse 1] block → Assign "Persona A" (Saved in my library)
  • Select [Verse 2] block → Assign "Persona B"
  • Select [Chorus] block → Assign "Persona A + B" (Layering)

If this feature is implemented, users can easily create Duets, K-Pop groups, and Musical-style storytelling songs with consistent voices. This would truly make Suno a professional AI-DAW.

When I view my profile and hit "play," It only adds about a dozen songs to the queue. I have more songs than that, and I want to add all of them to the queue. If I scroll down my profile to get the page to load more songs, and then I hit play again, it loads a new subset of my library into the queue.

In short, I want to be able to add all of my library to the queue without having to create a playlist that holds everything.

Actually, creating a playlist to hold everything wouldn't be a big deal if there was a way to CTRL-A select all songs in library and then an Add All command (this part I think is already there). I think basically, the playlist and queue controls need to be further developed to allow more control over them.

I really wish generating a Cover using a Persona would give an additional slider for how much you want it to sound like the Persona and how much you want it to sound like the Cover. Right now it just tries to mash the two together, and if the songs are similar enough it works decently but if they're very different you get a weird new genre instead - you can mitigate this somewhat with the Styles and Exclude Styles functions, but if I want "Song" to sound like "Persona" I can't just write that out in the Styles area and expect it to work. As an example, I tried to do a cover of a chiptune song with a brass and keyboard hiphop persona... it produced some funky EDM, but it was neither chiptune or hiphop anymore.

The styles barely work: they all sound very similar, very slow, and sometimes shrill, and even when I say I don’t want drums, they inevitably end up appearing. At the moment, the website seems to be not accessible anymore. I can’t promise my library and I can’t listen to my songs. It only says clickable and nothing more. This is not accessible for the blind. I’m using Google Chrome and the Screenreader NVDA version 2025.3.2. Is it possible that you can reach out to me if the problem could be solved? Incidentally, are there buttons to push to execute these functions? One of my primary use cases is as background music in OBS, and connecting functions to hotkeys on the webpage becomes risky when running the page inside another hotkey-heavy application.

Alright, so the first time I tried it in the browser, it only loaded about 70 songs. I was scrolling through the list and clicked one. It started playing (as expected), but the entire queue was replaced with a small selection of 20 songs. That is not what I would expect. I would expect the queue to remain unchanged, even if I clicked a song within the queue to play.

Also, after clicking away to "Home" and then clicking on "Library" again, filtering for "Public" songs, and then CTRL+A, CTRL+U, it did load 200 songs. But that first time, it definitely did not. As before, clicking a song in the queue caused the queue to be replaced with a much smaller list again.

Lastly, I don't like that clicking a song removes it from the queue. As a user, I would expect clicking a song in a queue will 1) play the song, and 2) possibly move the song to the top of the queue. But I definitely would not expect the song to be removed from the queue.

Honestly, I really think the queue needs more explicit queue-management tools. At this point it feels like there's a lot of thinking [guessing] done on behalf of the user and unfortunately, most of the guesses as to "what the user wants" are usually wrong for me.

For example, I hit play while looking at my profile. The song I clicked and about 10 others were added to a new queue. Ok, cool. But if I want to add more songs to the queue, I can't. I'd have to go to my Library, filter by Public, and then scroll through my entire library to click the songs I want, and then use the hotkey you mentioned to add them to the library.

One problem I have is that I recognize most of my songs by the album art I created, not by the name (because I have many songs that have multiple versions, so they have similar names). When looking at the library view, it's much harder to recognize / remember which songs I wanted. I know the album art is there in the library view, but the images are smaller and just different enough that they don't scan as quickly, so it's harder to recognize them.

In the library view, it seems the only operation you can perform is "add to queue." There is no way to actually clear the existing queue. There was a "Clear all" button text at the top of the queue, but when I pushed it the queue cleared and was replaced with other songs of mine. I don't know if it just cleared what was visible in the queue and loaded the remainder, or if it cleared the entire queue and the reloaded the queue with my songs from {somewhere} (yeah, looks like it just cleared a limited amount and loaded what was left). Also, the "Clear All" text disappeared (see image).

In most of these cases, I can't really tell if these are bugs or simply a case of Suno trying to guess what I want and just being wrong. For me, it's just more evidence that the queue management controls need to be explicitly provided somewhere instead of automating it. There are too many users and too many unique use-cases to try and anticipate what people need on any give screen with any given button press. I'd really be more useful if explicitly buttons were provided and they did only exactly what they say they do.

Btw, sorry if this feedback is very vague. I'd be happy to provide more information on specific UI/UX, if you ever want to discuss it.

I think the search function should be keyword based and not a string literal. When I search pan pan peanut I expect to find the following titles (image 1). But it finds nothing (image 2). This would bring the functionality in line with how most search functions work, which means users can intuitively leverage knowledge and experience on "how things work" from other sites like Google search, etc.

CTRL+A, CTRL+U to load all songs into the queue does not work anywhere except in the library view.

If I click on a playlist from my library, CTRL+A will select all titles displayed (image 1), but CTRL+U opens some sort of debugging tab or something (image 2).

I can right-click and select "add to queue," but going back to my previous comment, there's no way to explicitly clear the queue, so I end up just adding more songs. The use case here is I want to switch my queue to contain only the songs I've currently selected. Granted, sometimes I want to actually add the selected songs to the queue, but sometimes I want to replace the queue with the songs I've selected. This is another case where explicit queue-management buttons would server better than trying to make the interface do what you think the user wants to do. Just put explicit control in the hands of the user. People know how to add and remove songs from queues and playlists. They can handle it 😅

Suggestion: User-Facing Bug Reporting for Video Generations

I’d like to suggest adding a user-facing bug report option for video generations, particularly for Advanced mode.

I encountered a video gen where the animation behaved normally until the final second, when it abruptly cut to a completely unrelated image of a real person. This appears to be a technical error rather than creative variation and rendered the output unusable.

Even if there are backend systems already detecting issues like this, there’s currently no visible way for users to report clear video generation errors, unlike song generations.

A simple “Report Video Bug” option (e.g., glitch / unrelated content / corrupted output) would:
help surface real failure cases
improve system feedback loops
reduce frustration when high-cost gens (100–200 credits) fail due to technical errors

After creating a couple dozen finished songs with Suno and Reaper, something that could be improved is the volume level synchronization between different parts/verses of a song. Although it may seem at first that everything is more or less alright, getting different parts to an optimal/same volume is a bit tedious. There may be a need to adjust the volume levels +3/-3 dB (occasionally even more) to get the volume right throughout the whole song. Sometimes I need to use a loudness meter in my DAW's monitoring FX to check that the volumes are indeed the same/at the right level between different parts of a song.

i think that suno should extend their data uppon better oriental instruments quality. it's been weeks now since i'm trying to cover and remaster a song containing a citar, and i always have to ditch the results because the clips i recieve have the worst quality, always like if the citar has been poorly recorded, like with a phone or something. it's actually the first time i have an issue with an instrument, because otherwise, i think everything would sound perfect. and i don't wish to replace that instrument with the classic japanese koto or other chinese instruments, i need a citar for that specific song.

This is very useful if you have a "musical" style song or any "call and response" where there are 2 or more voices in the same style that have to be persistent. You can do one paragraph with i.e. the male voice, then "extend" with the female voice persona, so the song style stays the same.

While browsing the website recently, I came up with a few feature suggestions I’d like to share.

I’d love to have a feature that lets me put the songs I’ve made to my taste into a playlist and continuously listen to the entire playlist on repeat (not just looping a single track). It would also be great to have a timer function that automatically stops playback after a certain amount of time, since many people leave music playing while they fall asleep.

Among people who create hooks, there are quite a few who put real effort into producing full music videos. As Suno is gradually becoming a platform with a growing user base, I was wondering if it might be a good idea to add a feature that allows creators to promote their own hooks on the site for a fee. The platform could generate revenue from promotion fees, and creators who want to grow their Suno following could gain more exposure and attract more followers through this system.

after spending time iterating you start to learn certain words yield certain kinds of results and perhaps you want to try a range of ideas all at once. Similar to midjourney where it lets you try a limited number, depending on your membership plan. How many jobs you can run simultaneously.

I understand that image generation and song generation are different in demands. But for example I write a prompt (this is just an example from midjourney)

Is this at all possible to do in Suno, where I have the possibility to permutate a range of musical styles and instead of it making 2 songs / click create. It makes however many permutations I ask for it to generate in the range like up to a maximum of say 5 with pro, and 10 with premium?

It would certainly make things go a little faster from an experimental standpoint. or finding stems in premium faster as well.

Hi Suno team, can we please get a feature to make our entire profile private? Followers have uncannily similar lyrics/motifs with my songs (not AI generated) + EXACT phrasing/instrumentation so I believe they are following my channel to scrape content from my profile using AI Tools despite songs being private.

Additionally, this particular user, taking my songs has three accounts, one using a large AI scrapper, takings songs from the back end-> makes the new generated music all public, which then feeds into new songs/generations as well as Suno re-creating the sounds which I believe is why there is a MASSIVE bias towards vocal-fills at the beginning of songs, I’ve spent hours just trying NOT to have vocal fill intros. Please take this as a high priority situation with the AI bots/scrappers and somehow blacklisting the bots and finding how the music is starting to “flatten” Suno’s user-base creativity into algorithmic “so-so” music without the original Artist’s intent flowing through the songs. I’m alarmed to see how many of my songs are directly clipped into fully AI generated content despite my songs being private.

I have a suggestion to improve the user interface and prevent credit waste.

Currently, when using the "Covers" feature, the Lyrics Mode constantly resets to "Manual" even if it was previously set to "Auto". I have already lost over 60 credits because I forgot to switch it back to Auto before generating.

Suggestion: Could you make the Lyrics Mode "sticky"? It should remain on the last used setting (Auto or Manual) until the user explicitly changes it. This would prevent accidental generations with empty or incorrect lyrics when we expect the AI to handle it.

Can you please make changing a song's vocal pictch easier? I've found it INCREDIBLY difficult actually to change vocals at all in a song. If I cover a song, and it's a solid tenor or even alto, I request it to be a baritone, it'll do fine the first verse, but then immediately change it to tenor or alto right after. I can't get a consisten pitch change at all.

I myself am totally blind and use screen readers to use the computer and the mobile phone and found that suno.com has lots of unlabeled buttons and controls on it's web site and mobile applications. http://w3.org/WAI and http://www.webaim.org have great information on making web sites fully accessible to everyone like properly labeling buttons and other controls. Also, both Apple and Android have great accessibility resources in their development libraries and writing support never gets me anywhere with fixing the site or the mobile applications.

See, I like to have songs where the lead part is traded off among a large group (sort of like in "We Are the World" or War's "Why Can't We Be Friends?"). That would make it a lot easier. 🙂

This proposal aims to improve chart fairness without changing the existing chart structure, timing, or chart entry thresholds, by redefining what qualifies as valid engagement data.

Background:
I’m also a heavy creator and I’ve personally experienced the current farming/promotion loops. Over time, success has shifted from making better music to managing exposure and engagement exchange, which leads to burnout. I’m seeing more creators around me consider quitting or leaving for this reason. For the long-term health of the Suno ecosystem, I believe this should be structurally improved.

Core idea:
Do not ban farming or restrict user behavior. Instead, keep likes and comments visible as they are, but make chart-impacting engagement depend on valid listening, so farming becomes naturally inefficient.

Lite “Valid Data” Rules (Minimal Development)

1. Valid Play (used only for chart-impacting signals)

A play is considered Valid only if:

The user has 45 seconds or more of continuous playback, and

Any of the following conditions invalidate the play:

A seek/progress-bar drag occurs before 45 seconds

The first seek jumps to ≥ 50% of the track

Two or more seek actions occur in the session

(This requires only basic seek event logging—no heavy progress tracking.)

2. Valid Like (secondary reinforcement only)

Likes remain fully visible in the UI.

But for charts / New Song / recommendations, a like counts only if it is a “Valid Like.”

A Valid Like is a like made after the user has completed at least one Valid Play on that track.

This does not ban like exchanges, but it makes “5-second like farming” structurally ineffective for ranking.

3. Comments (optional; add-only, never negative)

If comments are included in scoring:

Comments remain fully visible in the UI.

Only Valid Comments may add small reinforcement weight.

A Valid Comment is:

6+ characters,

not emoji-only, and

posted by a user who has completed at least one Valid Play on that track.

Importantly: comment signals must never reduce a track’s base score. If not valid, they simply contribute 0.

Why this helps

Keeps current chart system intact

Minimal development effort (seek + simple playback time)

Neutralizes “seek/skip to fake listening”

Makes farming naturally inefficient instead of forbidden

Shifts creator effort back from promotion loops to music creation

In short: charts should reflect how a song is actually listened to, not how efficiently engagement signals can be simulated.

Following the previous suggestion on valid engagement filtering,
this is a short follow-up focused on the value of followers after that system is in place.

The core point is simple:
once chart impact is limited to valid listening,
follower notifications no longer create unfair advantage —
they become a way for genuine fans to actually listen.

Context

Currently, followers do not receive notifications when a creator releases a new track.
This appears to be an intentional decision to prevent heavy creators from dominating exposure.

While understandable, this has led to an unintended side effect:
the time and trust invested in building followers has become effectively meaningless,
pushing creators to spend more time on promotion mechanics than on music creation.
This contributes directly to burnout and creator churn.

Key Shift After Valid Engagement Filtering

With valid listening enforced:

Followers may receive notifications,

but only real listening behavior produces chart-impacting data.

Likes or quick reactions alone no longer affect ranking.

In this structure, follower notifications are:

an opportunity for genuine fans to listen, not a shortcut to charts.

Enable Follower Release Notifications (Post-Filtering)

Notify followers when a creator releases a new track.

Exposure alone does not influence charts unless valid listening occurs.

This restores meaning to follower relationships without reintroducing bias.

Follower-Controlled Notification Opt-in

Add a simple follower-side option:

“Notify me when this creator releases a new track”

Default can be OFF or low-priority.

Creators cannot control or trigger this setting.

When a user follows a very large number of creators, the volume of release notifications can become difficult to manage,

keeping only creators they are genuinely interested in listening to.

The same pattern applies to feeds or sections showing new releases from followed creators.
When following is excessive, visibility and usefulness decrease,
which naturally encourages users to streamline their follow list,
without requiring any explicit system enforcement.

There may be concerns that heavy creators could dominate charts simply through more opportunities or larger follower bases.

However, in a valid engagement–based structure,
exposure alone does not guarantee ranking.

Even with many followers,
if a track is not actually listened to over time,
no qualifying data is generated for chart placement.

There was a past case where a multi-minute silent track
briefly appeared in global trending.
This is not mentioned as criticism,
but as a clear edge case showing how easily charts can be distorted
when listening quality is not validated.

By verifying meaningful listening,
this structure prevents such distortions and ensures that,
regardless of creator size,
only tracks people truly listen to
can maintain meaningful chart positions.

Ultimately, this creates a positive cycle:
better music leads to real listening,
and real listening leads to fair visibility.

Yes this is driving me nuts.
I have been trying to get a contralto female vocal range and it's almost impossible. If it does this for the first verse it will then switch back to a default female vocal for the rest of the track.
I have tried every which way to get that deep female vocal through instructions etc and got some luck going back to V4.5 and then having to remaster to V5 but the sound quality with the remaster was not great.

Currently, Suno’s UI and overall experience are excellent. However, many users—especially in Japan—find that playlists can become quite heavy and difficult to manage when handling a large number of tracks.

Because of this, I have developed an independent lightweight playlist system to solve this issue.

I am a well-known radio DJ in Japan, and I regularly broadcast music created with Suno on my radio programs. I also organize Suno-based music contests on-air, which has led to the creation of a large number of tracks by Japanese users.

To improve the listening experience, I built an application that:
• Collects Suno track links
• Organizes them into lightweight playlists
• Allows users to enjoy many songs smoothly and comfortably

As a result, more Japanese users are now able to casually enjoy a large volume of Suno-generated music without performance issues.

I believe this technology could be valuable if integrated into Suno, enabling users to enjoy playlists more easily and efficiently.

I rarely post here (and don't know where to post this) but think I got something useful here: I think that you could have a whole huge library of copyright free scores available which could be used as bases for new stuff. Like the full "orchestral" (when warranted) scores.

You can go safe and take the longest, reasonable (sorry Mexico), copyright protection cut-off and then add 5 years to be safe. I'm no lawyer but 100 years seems generally safe?

Imagine what interesting things could be worked on using actual Medieval and Renaissance scores for those doing gaming music. Or riffs from the Baroque, Classical, and Romantic/Expressionistic eras that rock/metal people could play around with. Heck, even people doing the beat heavy songs of today could find things in old African scores that would add some originality.

Like I'd take some Medieval piece and incorporate it (or have Suno modify it) inside a 70's prog rock piece. Or have Suno take some obscure JS Bach (the original rocker!!!) and give it a rock/metal treatment. Things like that.

Watermarks that I cannot see, remove, or consent to undermine true ownership. I’m hearing that some artists and industry reps are using AI detection software to unfairly stigmatize creators who use Suno responsibly as a writing tool.

Suggestion! Would appreciate a brief, few-word explanation of what the small icons do when you hover over them in suno. For instance, the library icon on the bottom left of the style box - I didn't even realize it. And the bookmark icon at the top of the style box. I love the colored "dot" that marks the songs that you still have not heard. However, it would be nice to expand its functionality. Now, the dot disappears even if the user just listens a few seconds of the song. It would be nice the dot to change the color to indicate if 1) nothing of the song has been heard, 2) the song has been listened but not completely., 3) the song would disappear only when the song has been listened from start to finish.

I would also suggest a "song/persona to prompt" feature.

I have found that, as time passes and the model gets updated, Suno reacts differently to the same prompts. A prompt generating great results for v4.5+ may render results quite different for v5. I know that personas maybe used to replicate styles/genres of a previous song, but they have some problems: they tend to stick too much to the original song or stray to far away. It would be nice to have a "re-prompt" feature to turn a song into a prompt, since Suno tends strongly to produce better results with initial prompts (results for cover/remixes/personas tend to be of less quality).

One last thing, the Song Editor tend to divide the song in blocks too big. For instance, it does not differentiate between sung parts/instrumental parts (as the usual instrument solo that goes after the chorus). It would be nice to add an option for auto-segmenting a block into smaller pieces or include a "beat-detector" to ease the deletion of full blocks without disturbing the beat of the song.

I am saying this because Suno sometimes generates wonderful instrumental solos and sometimes generates very annoying instrumental bits!

Sometimes I need to redo a single line or two because the AI did not pronounce a word correctly and it would be awesome to be able to just do a small edit like that.
I find it very tricky do try this in the editor.
I have had to redo a whole verse to get around it and that often causes inconsistency with the rest of the track, sometimes the volume is different, the rhythm, the voice itself.

Suno has proven to be an amazing tool for seasoned and established producers. It feels like having a co-producer by your side—someone you can bounce ideas off of in real time. I really appreciate the cover and remastering features, especially since I write my own lyrics and fully compose the structure of my songs. The stem exports are also very useful for remixing tracks for DJ sets.

That said, as with all current stem-separation technology, this feature is still in its early stages. The stems often suffer from spectral smearing, which noticeably degrades sound quality.

It would be amazing if the development team could introduce an option to generate songs as separate stems from the very beginning, rather than separating them after the fact. This would eliminate spectral smearing (the “fishbowl” effect) entirely and greatly improve audio fidelity.

This could even be offered as a premium Studio feature. Personally, I would gladly pay between 100 and 200 credits for a single song generated this way.

Is this something Suno and its amazing developers might consider as a future enhancement?

The Auto Style Prompt for Uploads should be a toggle - allowing for manual editing. Currently uploads are locked in with the auto style description and its always inaccurate, and it permanently links the track to the bad prompt. it should at least be editable. currently there is not even any way to edit this. This automatic style prompt is Highly inaccurate.

Also each inspiration should have a separate strength slider if possible. or at least one for audio influence, and one for persona influence.

Suno's MIDI transcripts are pretty good - I would argue they are better than most other services I've tried. There are cases where you may have trailing notes or post process effects like reverb muddying the waters. If you have REAPER, one trick I like to do is delete all notes smaller than 1/32 which can help clean it up a lot. Sometimes performing a remaster of your song will generate a slightly cleaner version which will help with the stem separation too. Having said that, there's always room for improvement and I'd love to see some MIDI love myself.

I love SUNO very much and I'm grateful for this platform. I'm also grateful for being able to provide feedback. One of the issues that I'm dealing with is I have lots of songs and while I prefer the web in a phase for most things managing the playlist and managing which songs are in those playlists is very difficult. There's no drag drop feature while I can select the songs and then pick a playlist for those selections having a option like on iOS where I can see all the groups that a song is in and then turn those on and off more. Simply I think might be helpful for some if I only had 50 songs or less than it wouldn't be an issue. I really don't like deleting any songs unless I really don't like the song I don't like certain things about it. I like having multiple versions for various reasons as well thank you. Sorry for the length of this message.

In response to the X post from Suno, building the next era of music listening and being asked what features are non negotiable for you.

First, creator transparency baked into the player. I want to see structure, lyrics, prompt lineage (high-level, not proprietary), version history. Let listeners understand how a song came to be, not just hear the final render. That’s new era literacy.

Second, version aware listening. Let me A/B versions of the same song, v4 vs v4.5+, raw vs mastered, alternate vocals. Music isn’t static anymore, it’s iterative. The player should respect that reality.

Third, dynamic lyrics that follow performance, not just timestamps. If a vocal drifts, stretches, or breathes, the lyrics should move with it. Static karaoke style text is virtually old world thinking.

Fourth, intent based discovery, not algorithmic noise. I want to explore by mood, vocal character, energy arc, instrumentation, or emotional temperature. “Show me restrained, late night, vulnerable male vocals with acoustic backbone” should be a thing.

Fifth, creator controlled context. Let artists attach a short note, voice memo, or written context to a track. Optional, but powerful. Sometimes knowing why a song exists changes how it lands.

Sixth, lossless first playback. Period. If this is the future, don’t kneecap it with compression. Give listeners the option to hear the truth of the sound.

Seventh, and this one matters a lot: respectful credit and attribution systems. Not just “AI-generated,” but meaningful acknowledgment of creative direction, influence domains, and human authorship. People aren’t replacing artists, they’re collaborating with tools.

Finally, no forced virality. Let music breathe. Let songs exist without being shoved into dopamine loops or engagement traps. Quiet greatness needs space.

As a producer collaborating with an artist who prefers not to use AI directly but is open to working with AI-generated material (replays with instruments), I’m running into workflow challenges. The main issue is file organization. The current structure lacks clear parent–child folder relationships, which makes managing content difficult.

I work with two separate artists and generate a large volume of material. I rely heavily on the library function to search and separate songs and stems by artist, but the process is inefficient. I need a system where each song acts as a parent folder, with related stems — vocals, bass, FX, drums, etc. — organized as child files beneath it. (allow stem separation into stems/bass, stems/fx etc... )

Often I want to find a specific element, like a bass stem I loved from a previous session, and would love to reuse it in a new track. With 10,000+ stems and songs, and that number constantly growing, it’s becoming increasingly hard to locate these hidden gems. A structured parent–child file system would make retrieval, reuse, and creative workflow far more efficient.

I use personas for storytelling, so I normally have a lot of suno personas and they keep growing. What I noticed from the Web UI is that it only shows up to 16 personas (and mine is about more than 16). If I don't have songs connecting to these personas, they'll probably be lost. Sometimes, they don't even appear in the list when picking the personas for creating songs.

So yeah, my suggestion basically to show all personas available via Library, Persona list, Persona selection, and anything related.

Unless I'm misunderstanding, Inspo could be what you're looking for given that Audio Similarity is set to a reasonable value (which may be anywhere from ~20-80% depending on which mood Suno is in on any given day) that doesn't result in what is essentially a Cover.

From my own testing of this feature, if setting the Style parameter slider very close to 100% (but not so high that it starts singing the prompt); I've managed to get fairly similar soundscapes on new songs, but never identical. That bit is a game of chance more or less, but can be controlled to deliver fairly consistent results through as detailed Style instructions as one can cram into 1000 characters when setting the Style slider as described.

Persona used to be pretty good at this, but since the "new and improved" Personas which focus on Vocals (...) and what is now known as Legacy Persona seem entirely broken if the Inspo or song being Covered end up in a track that is 3-5 minutes long, ending abruptly as the current and already limited context window becomes even smaller when Suno have to "listen in on an existsing song" in order to "carry that sound over" to the new one. :|

Let me know if you figure it out. I think we're seeking the same thing, though I'm open to having misunderstood. :)

When using song editor and say you’re fixing a certain lyric that is either mispronounced or you messed up on, instead of when you save it to a new song, have us or be able to make multiple edits before saving it as a new song. Because it’s really tedious that you have to go back-and-forth between making one singular edit, saving that to a new song, then go into that new song and then making another edit and you have to go back-and-forth, especially if you have multiple mistakes.

My process is not “push button, export, upload.” I write original lyrics, craft precise prompts, audition and curate stems, arrange, produce, and master (via LANDR). That is human authorship under SCOTUS Feist: selection, transformation, fixation. The US Copyright Office has already affirmed AI-assisted hybrids, and Suno’s ToS recognizes user ownership.

The problem: platform detectors (notably Deezer/Spotify, tuned to raw Suno exports) are flagging legitimate, human-directed work as “AI slop.” These systems target bot-farm fraud, but they are collateral-damaging real creators. The result is stigma, suppressed discovery, demonetization risk, and eventually bans — not for fraud, but for tool choice.

Silence hurts everyone. Fraudsters dilute the ecosystem while power users doing actual creative labor get buried by automated suspicion.

Suno should lead here:

• Introduce a “Power User Certified” or similar metadata badge (lyrics ownership, stem curation, human arrangement)
• Engage Deezer, Spotify, SACEM, etc. on AI-assisted exemptions vs raw-generation fraud
• Support clearer appeals pathways or legal guidance for false flags
• Partner with distributors (e.g., DistroKid) on optional AI-disclosure tools
• Run a visible #SunoPowerUsers campaign to set narrative leadership

This isn’t anti-AI or anti-platform. It’s about protecting human authorship using AI before detectors and policy inertia rewrite the rules retroactively.

This is possible. But, from what you describe it sounds like you are using the older "legacy" editor instead of the new one (which should open by default.)

If the editor takes more than a few seconds to load it will display a button to let you use the legacy editor - don't click on this.

You can also go to the new editor from the legacy one - at the top left next to "Edit" there are 3 dots. Click on that and choose "New Editor".

One thing I hope that will be a thing in the future is mixed personas. I'm doing alot of similar music (alt rock) and sometimes I just wanna use a male voice and sometimes I use only a female vocal. I wanted to suggest bringing back the ability to create Personas from uploaded audio. Less than a month ago, this workflow worked and it was actually one of the main reasons I subscribed. It allows creators to capture their own vocals and style directly, which is essential for certain projects.

Restore the upload Persona feature, even as a beta, or

So... Long time user here. Bought the Studio version to test vocal melodies and sing along with myself. I just got a sweet and very expensive professional studio mic, and to my disappointment, the ability to pull personas out of my own voice has been patched out..

I'm pretty agitated about this, admittedly because this is the primary thing which keeps me on an annual subscription. I request allowing this feature again. I don't want to have to cover my melodies every single time...sometimes I use my persona simply to source ideas and test lyrical phrasing.

Cover doesn't really cut it, as it seems.... It really morphs my voice and makes me sound quite a bit different. My diction changes and so does my placement...personas was a lot more consistent

At the very least, please give us vocalists the ability to train and clone our voices. I perform. This helps me immensely for someone who doesn't have studio recordings of their music yet. I'm sure other vocalists share the sentiment.

Necessary adjustments can be made when writing and arranging, so I'm not too concerned about that. I would just like a bit more control to keep Suno from mutating my vocal identity. I'm pretty competent with it, but haven't found or developed a consistent solution for this yet, but the persona of a raw take seemed to be the most reliable method so far.

Not sure if anyone else has found a different method for vocal consistency out of a studio mic recording, but I'm open to suggestions. There's always something I haven't tried yet lol

But can't sort or reorganize the workspaces. Also can't change the graphic. Need similar functionality as playlists for workspaces (drag to reorder, change graphic). Personas are great, but again, no way to sort or reorder.

If you have more than one singer, you can either use Extend to build it up by changing the persona at the extend, or what also works: Make full song singer 1, cover it with female 2, download fullmix and instrumental stem from singer1, download vocal stem from singer 2. then open the fullmix of singer 1, remove the verse which is supposed to be singer 2, fill into the gap instrumental of singer 1 song and the vocal stem from singer 2.

It would be of course much much more convenient if we could do it like this

etc. But with a 100% guarantee that it is done, and not a dice roll.

I mean Suno already supports streaming music.

All they have to do is making an app that's only for consumers.

Make then register with Google. Toss in a few ads on the free plan.

And we creators won't have to feel alienated from the market. Due to Spotify almost banning us. YouTube won't promote us. And TikTok is just as bad.

And the AI would only have to scan our styles prompts to figure out what this specific listener is into. And make a few suggestions based on that.
And boom we have a Suno DJ Ai that helps creators become seen.

It could mix between Sunos bigger artists and then once awhile throw in a few new creators in their feed.
