Hi, I'm new here but I've been using Suno for a few months. I love it but I have a couple of suggestions for editing songs. First, I wish we could zoom in when we cut the song for more precision and not have to put in seconds and thousandths to get close to what I want. And the second is, if you guys can fix that little jump that you hear when you replace a piece of the song... it makes it sound amateur. Thank you very much for the tool you put at our disposal, and as I said, very happy with Suno and its new v4.

I have read here that the audio Suno is streaming is MP3 (or maybe another compression format). If this is true, this might influence what we hear and we need at least to know what kind of mp3 ( fixed or flexible bitrate, the exact bitrate) the data is. If this is not true, we need also to hear a denial.

My suggestion regarding beats parsing. I would like to pass text where I could specify abbr. in text to define the beats. I do it in this way and I made screenshots and you can see complete song description on the link bellow. There are two parts. First part is explanation block in English and then the beats block. I've been using v4 for a few days after the update and have concluded that v4 is a big piece of crap, nuclear waste.

The Extend feature in particular is horrendous, songs that used to flow right away in v3.5, I just tried with v4 and after almost an hour and hundreds of credits, they don't flow right at all, singing the wrong lyrics, changing the melody, leaving out certain parts, repeating themselves, or just plain buggy.

The update to v4 changed the prompts to allow for up to 200 characters instead of the previous 120 characters, but in my experience it doesn't seem to recognize anything longer than 120 characters.

In addition, the persona and cover features are also problematic, and it is very disappointing that I still had free persona and cover coins to use, but all those free coins disappeared with the update.

Anyway, again, v4 is garbage and nuclear waste of the highest order, and I doubt the devs even tested and beta'd this model properly beforehand.

When using personas, I have noticed that when the source song contains a very unique and catchy instrumental melody, the generation tends to copy that melody in the songs generated with that persona. This makes the new generated songs a bit weird, since they feel more like a mashup, or a remix than a new song.

After using v4 for a bit now it would be nice that the remaster feature would take a song note for note and remaster it. I'm getting new melodies, which sometimes can be cool, but more often than not it changes the vibe of the already established song... so it would be nice that the remaster feature would literally remaster the song and clean up the sounds, lyrics, feedback/noise found in older versions.

I would also like to see personas used in covers AND in the non-custom song creation as well.

Another feature that would be amazing is a splice feature. Sometimes one path of a song ends up great but another path taken has something amazing as well. If we could splice two tracks together similar to the replacement feature where we choose how it splices we would be able to guide the AI better in our song development.

And lastly... can we please get the ability to create harmonies with specified voices? Example being, "[male and female harmonies]" as a tag, or "male and female harmonies" as a prompt. Or better yet, in the area where we can choose what we want in the song and what we don't want... have another voice selection for male, female, male and female, male duet, female duet, male and female duet, etc... it would be nice to have sort of control for that sort of thing.

But anyways, just brainstorming. I appreciate the Suno team and all of your efforts and understand such things may be complicated on the back end, but figured I'd bring it up to see if the possibility of such features has been thought of by the dev team. Thanks again!

Once the V4 issues gets fixed, I'd like to see a focus on Personas and Covers. I want to be able to use Personas on Covers, and I want to be able to have more than one Persona on a song. For example, let's say I have both male and female singers on the same song, like a duet. I should be able to choose whenever which voice comes up next when extending a generation. Instead of wasting credits because the wrong voice type shows up regardless what I type in prompt or even when excluding styles in order to get what I'm trying to generate.

Please add the ability to download subtitles as srt files so we can use them under music videos - you already have the data anyway, so it would be much easier than using another AI service to create subtitles (or even doing them by hand). Of course it would be a neat bonus if you could also do translation subtitles ... but I'd be already super happy if you can do subtitles the same as in the video generations - just as files.

And please add a number to my generations. Trying to find something I created in the past is really burdensome right now. Just add a number at the end of each downloaded file and show the number in my generation timeline. Would make things so much easier.

Most trash options I encounter have a select option first before deleting. For Suno, similar to files in a file cabinet, may select all files on a page by hold-SHFT-key and select top song, scroll and select last song.* Click any [ . . .] Menu and choose delete permanently. So that's a page at a time at least. But I have not seen an all-on-page select. That might be a good thing , simply a tick box for "select all" on a page.

*Of course, CNTR and click songs individually as grouped choices to delete is also an option.

My suggestion is to enable a "Style Selection feature" where users could choose from their existing Suno songs' styles to generate new tracks in the same style. This would allow creators to produce music that consistently aligns with their preferred genre, vibe, or brand while also exploring new creative directions within a familiar framework. the "get whole song" feature maintains track consistency well. however, by learning from a user's larger body of work, the ai may be able to create music for each vision.

Style Selection Interface: Users could browse Suno song styles and choose one to start a new track. This would help them maintain a consistent direction without extensive prompts.
Controlled Customization: Allow users to customize their tracks by selecting style variations, ensuring a personalized but consistent result.

There is a workaround. If you make stems and then download them, they won't have the shimmering effect. If it has vocals, you can combine them in any DAW. If it doesn't, you'll have the instrumental stem without shimmering.

As a new member of this community, I first want to thank all the Suno staff for their excellent work. At the same time, I would like to make a request for consideration. The V4 has significantly improved the sound, but as a musician and producer with two decades of experience, I have also noticed that the level of compression applied has increased considerably. In some songs, you can even notice a subtle level of distortion. It would be very helpful if less compression/limiter were applied, leaving the sound a bit more "pure" to allow for more appropriate post-production work.

Sometimes I generate music that sounds amazing but has some weird parts in the middle of the song, which I can't take out unless I crop the entire song up to that point, and then extend from there to regenerate the entire rest of the song, which burns through a lot of credits. Just being able to remove uneccesary portions and have it automaically "stitch together" what's left would be amazing. Since beginning using Suno, I noticed that two songs with the same lyrics are generated together, using 10 credits, it would be nice to have an option to just generate one, using 5 credits, and then if I'm not happy with the result, then I will generate the other song, using the other 5 credits.

I don't know if this is the right place to put this, but I think this is a really good idea. I know it's really hard to implement flow/composition control because the technology behind Suno is quite large and complex so things like extend, crop, and replace have been added. But if you added an option to generate the songs with 1/4 or even 1/8 the fidelity, with even perhaps an option to do 4x or 2x speed, the user could see if the song closely matches their desired flow without spending a lot of computation time.

I don't think replace section should consume tokens with V4 right now.. it's broken, It doesnt even highlight lyrics correctly and most of the time adds weird clipping sounds. I'm having awful results with replace section the past 1–2 days. I don't recall having this issue when I first started using 4.0 but it's failing every single time. I tried shorter excerpts (e.g. 10 seconds exactly) and larger. I tried toggling the "same length" option on and off. Nothing is working. Given all the different types of generations now like sections (for replace), covers, personas, stems etc. It would be useful to have a filter so you can choose to filter out any of the ones you may want to keep but not see in the main list. A checkbox selecting or deselecting different types would be ideal.

I did this by uploading a short clip of music recorded traditionally with my own voice in it, extended that out to a full song, and then created a persona from that song so that I could generate more songs. Sometimes it goes off, like way out of my range, but mostly it sticks close to my voice timbre and tone.

More granular control and a well defined prompting syntax that could be used in the lyirics to really control the song, e.g. more keywords in the control brackets to control tempo, key, instrument composition, mixing effects, etc and use of other delineators for specific voices. e.g. main vocal in plain text, backing vocals in (), {}, ... to ensure additional "singers" or the "choir" sing their parts.

Try to create something that allows better control over the vocals in a given track because, at least in my experience, there’s no proper way to control it. For example, I want the first verse to be sung by a female vocalist, the second verse by a male vocalist, the third verse as a duet, and the chorus sung by a choir. However, the program doesn’t follow these guidelines and randomly assigns voices, disrupting the vision for the track. Sometimes the melody is amazing, but the track becomes unusable because it wasn’t created according to the given instructions.

When I want to create something like this, I write it down as follows:

[bridge][duet/duo]
And so on.

I’m not sure if the way I’m writing it is incorrect, though I’ve tried many approaches, and it’s never worked perfectly according to my instructions. If there’s anyone who doesn’t experience such issues and knows how to make it work, I’d appreciate some guidance.

I often use Suno as a tool for ideas. Sometimes the majority of a song isn't much good, but there are key points in it's timeline where I think "that's a great idea". Just a thumbs up is too generic when I listen back later and wonder why I liked the song. I do now keep the notes separately, but keeping it within Suno, against the songs would be great.

I haven't tried it in v4 yet (just tried, see last link) but I know that some instruments have a higher rate of appearance if you pair an associated keyword, like

Wtf, the creators of Suno have no idea yet that almost any song has an intro and a solo ?
These 2 tags should be added to ANY automatic generated lyrics .. actually from the beginning of the Suno life.

Make the Display Name (not the handle) display on the auto generated videos. It currently does not, against grammar, logic and decent UI/UX. I mean, Display Name means Display Name. But if you download the mp4 video you see the user credited as the handle name. That makes no sense whatsoever.

Either make that the normal workflow or offer a check box on video regenerate - Create Regenerated Video with Display Name or Handle Credit?

Handles are inherently resources in limited, time-gated supply. Display names are the way for users to exercise agency over their branding and communication.

Hi, can you create the feature "session", the session is a space dedicated to a project, with all its files and parts all together, out of the Library listing.

1. Create a session
   --> create parts in the session selected1
   --> list all the parts that belong to the session
   --> add folder in the session (archives, to keep test)

The current feed can become messy, especially when one user uploads a lot of songs. It’s easy to feel overwhelmed, and as a result, many great songs from other users may go unnoticed..
to improve this, I propose grouping songs by user in the feed playlist.
when one person publishes many songs, the feed can become cluttered, showing too much content from a single user
I also noticed that the feed currently handles a maximum of about 300 songs(is it?), so if one person publishes a lot in a short amount of time, the feed can almost become entirely theirs. 😄

• each group shows the latest song published
• mentioned groups contain a button e.g.. Show More - where:

• it shows:
  • current user name
  • songs published in some period of time(e.g.. last 24 hours)

Also, when creating or editing tracks it would be good to have something equivalent to the "chaos" parameter in Midjourney which would adjust the amount of randomness/variety in the generated music. Ideally it would be possible to set that separately for the vocal line and the instrumental parts. I was recently using the "replace section" feature to try and fix the end of a song where the singer had ended on a note I didn't feel was right. I regenerated the same section about ten times, but the final note was always the same wrong one and in the end I gave up. A "chaos" or "variety" parameter would have been useful there to encourage more deviation from what the model had determined was the best continuation.

I’ve noticed that v4 struggles with retaining context, particularly when referencing earlier choruses and drops. A challenge for longer compositions is that it frequently loses the original melody and shifts styles unpredictable after approximately two minutes.

Since v3.5 did a better job with consistency, this behavior seems to have diminished in v4. The usability could be improved if it could remember context and refer back to earlier parts of the song. Excited to witness the model's development! Appreciate all the hard work that has been put in thus far.

I think that SoundCloud has updated their algorithms and they can now understand if the track was made with Suno (as Suno adds audio watermarks between wavelengths) and they're now limiting the reach of AI generated music. Maybe it's time that you stop putting those audio watermarks on songs Suno, especially for Premium users?
it's annoying, especially when I've used the Upload Audio feature, aka given the input by myself, in terms of audio, not just by prompts. I've experimented with SC. When I upload a song made by me in Ableton fully VS a Suno track that sounds so much better than what I can make in Ableton, then the one made by me gets much more organic reach. And to make this test valid, I produced music from the same genre. It's fcking annoying tbh.

Remasters are presumably watermarked if the watermark story is true. All you know for sure is that Suno says songs are watermarked. If they are, it's a highly guarded secret. If I'd known how they are done, I'd find a way to remove them. Assuming the watermarks are real, SoundCloud (SC) certainly doesn't know how they're done, either.

One way for Suno to "watermark" songs is to train and update a model on a representative sample of all generated songs. There is certain information common to all songs made by Suno (or any generative model, to this point, not only music, but images and what's not). Nobody knows what this information is exactly, but it's presumably non-random. This is the case in any dataset, except perhaps one of random noise. We call it latent entropy or latent information. There are methods to extract and use it, and it's a well-researched area. All recommenders extract it from your behaviour in an Internet store. But only Suno knows with certainty that a song is made in Suno. 🙂 We call such information the "ground truth". SC doesn't have access to it.

If SC were reasonably sure an uploaded song was made with Suno, they could have trained one, too. I have never uploaded anything to SC. If you have, are you just dropping a wave file, or are you writing any text? The text, a simple mention of Suno in it, is good enough for a bootstrap data. Then you train a larger model on it, and use it as a feedback classifier. If you're lucky, updating this model on its own output will keep it updated and precise enough indefinitely. Absent ground truth, it's harder to keep divergence over time in check, but there are methods to work around that too. We're using a host of AI techniques to dig into astronomy data. The astronomy datasets are, um, astronomical. We could get only so much science by eyeballing them. AI shines there.

But I don't believe without sufficient statistical evidence that SC lowers the rank of Suno-made songs.

Some simple idea to improve workflow:

• fading out a song is still not possible altough is a piece of cake to add it in the crop window.

• importing 3-4 minute song for real covers would make a lot of sense for a music app

• extending a song on the "left side", like Udio does, would be great. This is needed when you need an intro or the intro was not a good but you don't wanna change the rest of the song

• cover does only what it wants even after 2 months of beta, there is no way to stop it producing the same song (as remaster).
  Give us some parameters to be able to control the function at least, or the credits back if no success in producing a new song.

• cover stops working at 3:20 - 3:28, no chance yet to cover songs longer than that

• would be nice to keep only the voice in PERSONAS and forget the style stored.

Audio quality issues

• V4 delivers bad audio quality after some good seconds. And also the "shimmering".
• extending a song with V4 delivers awful audio quality, it destroys the whole song
• "remaster" quality is still way too bad for a "remaster". "Remake" would be a better term.

Cover function needs a slider to define how close it should stick to the original. Way too many times you get a completely different song, not following the chord progression or structure, or it goes in the other opposite and you get a nearly exact copy. It hits the desired sweet spot about only 10% of the time (Generous estimate)... Assuming it actually follows the prompt. I suppose you could integrate the Remaster function into it that way too.

Seed input or "recreate". A lot of times I get something that's really cool, but I just want to tweak one thing, or replace a word. Replace section sometimes does the job (Usually I get the exact same output), but isn't useful if you want to change the chorus only.

I've actually found that Persona's appear to bring over more than just the singer. If I create a persona of an instrumental, that persona will influence another song and I can hear the "personality" of that instrumental. So I'm not 100% sure that persona's are only bringing over the vocals.

I have a pro account so I'm not sure if that makes a difference.

Official API access or model licensing (preferably without charging USA hospital bill prices) would be awesome. Having initially come from a third party "API thief" app (Donna), I can tell you right now that Suno's interface is missing a certain level of... For lack of a better term, invitation? I mean between the weird way 1/6th of the screen is permanently unused in the web version to how limited the android app currently is, I find myself missing Donna's interface more often than not. I'm aware that the Suno Android app will probably evolve more over time and will eventually reach feature parity with the web interface, but still... Suno's model is second to none in my experience, and it'd be neat to have Suno be a more distributed service instead of the monolithic one it currently is. Options are always nice, and devs be doing some creative shit these days.

I would love to be able to combine two separate parts or songs that are not part of a song extension chain. I have a song that I think is great, however there is a part in the middle that is redundant that I would like to remove and I have had no success being able to use the replace section feature with something that sounds good that matches the length of audio that I would like to replace it with. If I could crop the song twice, one time for the beginning part and one time for the ending part, and then if I could select these songs in the library and select "Combine," I think that I could achieve what I'm looking for. Suno would then ask me to arrange the parts in the order I want, and then it will generate some audio with definable length to bridge the gap between them. If this were Udio, I would just download the track, cut out the part I don't want in Audacity and then generate a bit of silence between the parts and then save the file and upload it and then use the inpaint feature, but Suno does not allow uploads of more than 2 minutes and if there are vocals then the track can't be published, so this is not an option here. Suno is not on par with Udio in this area; I would love to see some more DAW-like functionality such as this. Full multitrack waveform editor with cut, copy, and paste would be amazing also, but I'm just dreaming now...

Hi there. Would be interesting if users could have deeper and more precise modification and personnalisation tools. Let me explain. Imagine if users had the possibility to extend the song's informations to actually see as we can see in magix music maker, fruity loops and other soft of that genre, how everything is distributed and thus allowing us to do manual changes directly into the generated music. This would allow to pin-point modify slight parts of the generated music that may be problematic or to modify the music with way more precise ideas. That actual tool could open a new tab in example with music informations (which would allow i.e to modify directly the effect of some prompts or even to manually add some into the song to force some specific executions into it), and once modifications are done having a "preview" before generating it clean (to be sure what we instructed has been instructed accordingly to our target") to finally generating the "final version" (before we may even work more on it).

While other people want everyone to hear their music, I'd like the ability to block people from liking tracks, or even listening to my music on Suno. The songs would still be public, but this would let me control who gets to hear my music.

Maybe we as creatives, could have a way to pin one or two of our songs to the top of our profile as in a "recommended by the writer" section. Any small changes like that would have a very meaningful impact. Most Suno users probably have a song or two they'd like to promote that they would pin to the top of the profile as a recommendation, if they could. The top of the profile needs a redesign to show a couple of new songs, a couple of top hits by the user, and a couple of recommendations from the user. Top row of my songs should still be six songs, but not my top 6. Also, don't just show me my songs have them ranked by popularity and give us a highlight around our two top hits and two newest songs and two recommendations, so that the top row on everyone's profile stands out from everyone else's. When I go on the front page, profiles for songs could be color coded with frames around them. Song with gold border are the users hits, etc, the user profiles aren't very engaging or creative or fun. It's just the songs and they are ranked and placed in a very inconvenient way. I noticed the biggest users on Suno have like hundred of songs with one or zero thumbs up when they started and they don't gain traction for a while so all of their original uploads become something no one would ever click on. There's no daily shuffling of songs on user profiles and that's sort of a big problem with guys who have hundreds and thousands of songs.

Also, Suno still really struggling with prompts. The 200 letter limit on the prompt box is ridiculous. Also, adherence to prompts leaves a lot to be desired. If you want something that sounds like a sitcom theme song, forget about it. There's no way to get it to do something that sounds the style I want. Piano and Clean electric guitar licks that respond as response licks to the lyrics. I just really want to do an 80/90s theme song sound. It's another thing that Suno doesn't even get remotely close to. When I try, I get something that I would classify as modern easy listening. Not the Steve Dorff sound I'm looking for.

Also, I should definitely be able to search for v4 songs only or v3 songs only and search for songs by genre when looking for interesting songs I haven't heard before on Suno. The current method we use to search for users or songs is very messy and limited in the options we can search for. I'd love a clean interface I can select what I want to search for. Copy the way Amazon. Allows people to search. I should definitely be able to click that i want to search v4 only if that's what I want. I should also be able to search "v4 80s songs, or "v4 blues songs" etc but you can't search by model type the song used or by genres only by song titile or user. It could be improved a lot.

Here's a totally ridiculous story. When Covers were introduced with the hefty 250 free cover generations, I decided to make an album of 12 style variations of "Twinkle Twinkle Little Star" (idea stolen from W.A.M.) I noodled 30s of the song on the piano, uploaded it, made the 12 covers, put them into a public playlist. I just wanted them to sit neatly as ordered tracks of an album, so I left them non-public. But since no one looks at playlists any more, I made the piano noodle itself public, so it shows up in the main screen, and put the URL of the playlist into the description, in all-caps: "THE PLAYLIST OF ALL 12 COVERS: (url)". In other words, I dropped it into the public heap of songs in lieu of the album playlist.

When someone 👍d this non-song (but not the playlist or any of the tracks in it), I renamed the track "[SEE PLAYLIST not a song] etc..." to make this fact even more prominent.

When I got the second 👍 like this, I laughed until I realised that I cried. Nothing can be done to direct a visitor to the album. Nothing. Playlists are useless ATM. NOBODY PLAYS THE PLAYLISTS, which, I thought, was the whole point of having them.

I don't know how possible this is but I think it could be really good for song quality.

Idea is being able to crop and 'stitch together' multiple songs. So use Verse 1 and 2 from song A, chorus from song B, Bridge from song C etc. Then get full song, and a version of remaster to essentially fix vocal consistency and backing tracks, so in a sense it'd be a mix of cover and remaster, copying key elements you've stitched together and moulding it all together

You said your goal was to get a lower voice. My suggestion is the cheapest way to do that, credit-wise. If you want to do it all in the Suno app you can, but it will cost you a lot more credits. If you're okay with that, keep re-rolling your covers.

If there is a particular part of your song that you don't want to lose (say a melody riff in the second half), crop that and create a persona from it. Then, use the persona to create a new version of the song with a different style prompt. Eventually you can get a result that will keep what you like and change what you don't like. But again, if saving credits is the idea this isn't the way to go.

The absolute easiest way to get a different voice is to abandon the current version you like and try to find something better by starting over. You will find something you like just as much or more, eventually. This can be a cheaper way to do it. But when you're dealing with randomness, you're gonna have to spend credits to get something just how you like it.

Sure they do. What kind of bells do you want? Find a music style that incorporates those bells often and include that in your style prompt. For sleigh bells (for instance) I used "Holiday Classics, Christmas Special, Sleigh bells" and they pop up reasonably often. Not always, of course, but enough. Spending more credits is usually the best approach (unfortunately).

This is where I have a lot of frustration too. I've found the best approach is to do a Replace Section and fix the lyrics before doing remasters or covers. Doesn't have to be perfect, especially if you're doing a cover. Replace Section can be finicky, but if you're not too precious about a particular vocal inflection or musical interlude you can get some great results. And then doing a remaster of the result will often smooth over any jankiness so you can get started fresh on new cover versions. Hope that helps.

1. Model Selection Prompt for “Get Whole Song”:

• When clicking “Get Whole Song” after extending a track with multiple models, prompt the user with options:
  • Render in V4 – Keeps the entire track rendered in v4 for its clean, high-quality sound.
  • Render in V3/V3.5 – Uses v3 or v3.5.

Why This is Important:

• Preserves Track Quality: Users who create tracks primarily with v4 can maintain its higher fidelity in the earlier sections without compromising on the outro quality.
• Eliminates Inefficient Workarounds: Currently, users extend with v3/v3.5 for endings, then re-extend with v4. This creates unnecessary “nonsense” audio, wastes credits, and requires manual cropping.

I’m a senior backend developer who has created startups and SaaS platforms that are not only alive but thriving years later. So yes, I understand rate limiting, bot prevention, and user experience design on a level that isn’t just theoretical.

As for your concern about bots using Suno: let’s be honest. Suno, as amazing as it is, still requires real human creativity. Bots can’t currently produce coherent, emotional, and well-mixed tracks without significant human intervention. They can churn out auditory garbage, sure, but that’s not exactly a threat to the “traditional” music industry. Even if someone tried to monetize such output, they’d barely scrape together $0.30 a month. Hardly a revolution.

Now, the captcha: yes, bots exist, and yes, they’re annoying. But captchas can be bypassed, and good bots will always find a way to wait out rate limits. Adding too many barriers only frustrates legitimate users. Suno’s captchas aren’t protecting the music industry—they’re just giving Suno’s servers a breather, which is fine, but there are more elegant ways to achieve that.

As for your playlist… I took a peek, and let’s just say your taste in music is, uh, “consistent.” I’m not sure why you’re positioning yourself as a defender of the music industry when you’re clearly enjoying tracks created by the very AI you seem so eager to criticize. Maybe save the righteous justice act for something more pressing?

Thinkin', it would be pretty useful to be able to, in the edit prompt or section, have functionality to Cover and Remaster specific sections of a song. Replace Section kind of does that, but I think the intention of replace is to insert something different rather than maintain the same or re-conceptualize the same.

I'm thinkin' this would be useful simply because there are tracks that I've generated that are great in itself, and I like the arrangement of what it's doing, but I don't like how it sounds. To keep everything but maybe change up how the section sounds, or what instruments are used, would be extremely useful.

Example of this would be EDM. Dubstep song for example, build up is great, melody is great, drop is not quite what I'm wanting, but I like the arrangement. I just want to flip around the sounds and have something different for them that sound better. This could also apply in kind to pretty well everything that you're lookin' to change only a piece of a song, but not so much that you're wanting to completely replace it.

I ask cause whenever I copy a songs style normally, the space between styles when there us a comma has double space. "Style, Style" it cuts into the character limit especially if there is a lot of separate styles.

Create a song, oops I need to change the lyrics, create a persona to preserve the style and voice, create a new song with the fixed lyrics, select the persona, boom, you get the original lyrics. I've wasted probably 1000 credits trying to work around that as well. I also tried the crop and replace features. None of it worked.

We’re running a weekly challenge in the Swedish Suno Discord Channel and I’d like us to be able to create playlists that gives each user a randomized order of the songs when they access it. So that the risk of bias towards voting for the early songs is minimized. Ideally, the order of the songs should never change for each individual user.

It'd be nice to have more expressive ratings than just thumbs up/down. In particular, I'd like to have one that means "I like this, but it isn't what I wanted".

As it is now, when I get one of those, whether I give it thumbs up or thumbs down basically depends on my mood. If I'm frustrated because I've been trying for a specific result and getting something else instead, it's probably getting thumbs down or no rating; if I'm just messing around and don't have anything specific in mind, it's probably thumbs up.

Yup! I have created songs before where the lyrics were so long, I knew it would be over 4 minutes, and expected to have to do an extend, but the song would still cut off after only 2-3 minutes, not utilizing the max length. I suggest every some generation should use the entire 4 minutes, even if the ending is all instrumental. I have also had songs generate at 3 seconds which get automatic credit refunds. Other songs that are 15 seconds don't seem to get auto credit refunds. I'm not sure where the cut off is, but any song under 1 minute in my opinion should be refunded (or at least 30 seconds).

Page Number are backwards! I think it would be better for page 1 to be for the very first songs you ever created, and page 1 would always be page 1 (having the same old songs from the beginning of your suno experience). I have over 1,700 songs now and it's annoying not knowing what the maximum page number is. Also for keeping track of songs in a spreadsheet, having the suno page numbers would be useful.

A solution would be if they placed above the library page number, a small "sort by" drop-down menu that has the options: name or date while choosing ascending or descending. An even better "sort by" menu would also include type that groups whole songs, sections, and crops etc. together.

Since many are calling for a better library management system with song file folders, a sorting method just like in a Windows folder directory should be used as well.

SUGGESTION: For video clips you an upload a short 10 second video that plays when you listen to the song. Why not make that an available upload type. Then you could say upload a short video loop of a guitar being played and it would look cool when the song plays.

I need a dedicated randomize (surprise me) genre checkbox. Currently it is doing so if you leave the Style of Music field empty, but it labels your generated tracks (no style). Sometimes it transforms my music into some really interesting genres, but I have not quite the idea what they are. Rename (no style) to (randomized) so users know you lucked out on that one and add the genres' name if you can.

Also a "detect genre" of the original piece you do a cover of check box would be nice. Sometimes I don't quite know the genre myself like the Passport and Canyon midis I turned into real instrumentals. It's like jazz fusion, but had to ask ChatGPT.

IMPORTANT: Credit usage will need to equate to seconds used in generation ie. 0.0417 credits equate to 4min of generation.
Therefore, if I generate a 30sec clip, it would cost me 1.25 credits - NOT 10! Sheesh...

This offers SO much more control, and would in turn cause less excessive rerolls from people clogging up the system and causing unnecessary load. It would allow users to not only be more creative, but manage their credit usage a bit more effectively. Allowing us to 'build' songs over time.

Just something that would, really, really be neat I think. I manage with the crop feature for now, but god what a hassle, and the way it TORTCHES my credits, and I have 10 000 a month. I don't even get 12 songs out of that! (Don't judge me)

i would love to see a strength slider for covers. when I do a cover suno generates 2 songs. sometimes 1 song will sound nearly identical to the original (which is nice sometimes) and the other song will sound vastly different. it seems that there's an internal strength setting that is hidden to the user that appears to be set at random. I am just asking that this be a setting that the user can change (like with udio's remix feature). sometimes I have to re-roll the song many times to get something that sounds different enough and I could save your poor gpus from having to work so hard if I had more control

It would be nice to have a text information - additional description - which could be exported to xml. This file would include information about all the instruments Suno have used in the song and where. There would be the list of instruments and their description on the begin of the file. So for example there would be two classical guitars and each of them would describe their specific parameters and sound. Because the sound depends on materials, size etc. So you want to include description of strings like nylon, tension.... and the sound like warm, balanced, or more bass, mid tone, trebles suppressed... And then the track of each instrument would be described like where it performs what technique like tremolo, largo, two fingers picking, three fingers fast picking, vibrato, etc... if possible. Could be described in a blocks like: intro, verse 1, vocal break, chorus 1, verse 2, vocal break, chorus 2, verse 2, outro ... and each of the section could have the description for the tracks. So when we want to generate similar song again and we like it, we could upload the txt or xml file, possibly modified a bit. Reading these file would be great thing to understand music and interpretation and description for Suno AI. I think this would boost the quality, because if we can exactly describe the sections, the instruments, and the techniques used to play or to sing, we can generate better songs and less trash. I hope this will come in the future.

For many songs I've created I used a persona but when you use functions as crop, replace, extends, get whole song... the persona link is lost. When you create a playlist for a persona you can see many songs with no persona because of that. So, is it possible to add a new function to "set" a persona to a song in "Edit Song Details" window ? I think it should be nice for a lot of us. And then we can have all songs for a persona. Maybe limit this functionality for persona's owned by the user to avoid nonsense attachements.
