So, it looks like its being looked into, my friend. Thanks for mentioning the issue.
Issue understood just need to get the right person to push a button
Whats the issue with the stems being exist work even tho they shouldnt?
I have an issue with the "Get Full Song" feature in the V3.5 legacy model. Whenever I try to Get Full Song with my extensions off my V3.5 songs, it does not work, instead it just says "Error Occured When Generating Clip". I just bought a subscription for this purpose, is there anything that can be done to fix this?
Muffle muffle
quality is feeling like a muffle in all models. v4.5 to me is more unique sounding. v5.5 eh but not bad. Imagine v4.5 level with better quality, and more variety and instruments and stuff
But I guess v6.... we will see, will it be... way boring as v5.5?
v5,5 violins sound the same
Also Alex Ayers, when will we get a playlist update for web. it is very laggy. If you have many songs. Prepare for the painful lag, that even the most modern high ends cannot fanthom.
yo can anyone teach how to make sound prompt on suno?
This would be a good place to start! https://discord.com/channels/1069381916492562582/1486475907135836221
Appreciate it. Apologies if it was in the wrong place to ask.
anyone can share technique how to recreate Mongolian throat singing
also outside from suno what is bets for writing lyrics?
Doesn’t appear you can filter by your workspaces on the app version, unless I’m missing something?
How do you get spoken intro's in V5.5?? I don't need a guitar riff or drum roll after every sentence... Especially with some of my songs that are storytelling, I like to tell a spooky tale first.. but even though in the lyrics I list the intro as spoken/no instruments/... and I put that in my prompt, I still get instruments..
Try using [Pre-Intro: Capella] with the [Metatag] [Vocals: Sex, Range, Spoken Word] and place your lyrics in "Quotations" under that section.
Then place the [Intro] and the instruments under that.
https://suno.com/song/9b9f134c-560f-492c-bb99-cae25a7d2bcb
Something like this, then Extend... or build up your song from there...
Thanks! I'll screenshot and try both ways next time!
is that how even in free versio you can get chosen styles per verse/bridge etc?
(yes im fairly new to it, mostly just doing things by accident getting nice results)
What do you mean?
if i have a style in mind per part of the sing be it the bridge -chorus to make sure its a certain style. be it spoken/rap/ etc etc
(in free version when writing lyrics myself) ive seen some written something aside from lyrics about prompts
(look at what i replied to/referred to)
or am i fully at the free versions mercy and having to hope for the best
If you mean if this would he how you go about getting different vocal deliveries, partially.
If you use the tag [Vocals:] and added to it the delivery of either Sung, Half-Sung, Rapped, Half-Rapped, etc, etc, the vocalist will often follow that method of delivery.
so it would be {Vocals: spoken, forboding, earie} , should that be
(lyric part) > then {vocals} or vice versa in order. As i know coding/ai can be very picky
More like [Vocals: Male, Tenor, Spoken Word, Breathy, Sparse phrasing, minimal vibrato]
Anyone know if there's a way?
would that before the lyrics..
{vocals: prompt}
bla , bla, bla text
bla , bla, bla text
Orrrr
bla , bla, bla text
bla , bla, bla text
{vocals: prompt}
Orrr
{vocals: Prompt} bla, bla , bla text
bla, bla, bla text
what is the order that is needed, as codin/ai can be very picky
The first.
And typically, you can only reliably control for one kind of delivery per section.
So after
section 1
section 1
Section 2
section 2 < means section 2 will have different styles unless otherwise prompted from style of section 1
?
Example:
[Pre-Verse]
[Vocals: Male, Baritone, Vocoded, Spoken Word, Hushed]
[Verse]
[Vocals: Male, Baritone, Clear, Rapped, Reverb]
If you try to transition mid-way, unless the section is fairly long, SUNO will either ignore it, hallucinate or ping-pong.
good to know, thank you 😄
Hello guys! just joined this awesome community!!!
Could someone please indicate if there are the format of the possible tags pinned somewhere? like this [Vocal: .....] or [Vocal - .....]
anyone gets the point of the way generating stems work? it feels like a dice roll everytime I do it, why not make the splitting process more percise?
hey people especially people having access to studio, i remember there is a retake function in studio, is that true and ohw does it work? i have an almost perfect song excecpt for 10 seconds which needs a retake because of bad vocals having the correct melody though. replacing does not work, so i wanted to know if retaking was actually a thing before actually trying to switch on premier plan just to get that in studio.
unless somebody would accept to do this for me...
i just uploaded my own song "it's not released or smth" and it pops me this off
Could be worse lol. Do not use the appeal form...
Please see: #🚀┃updates message
is wav don't allowed?
Has nothing to do with format, the filter is broken at the moment and noone knows when its gonna be fixed. I don't know why they dont roll it back to the last working state while theyre fixing it
ggs
Honestly, you'd be surprised how many people have complained about their upload being copyright restricted...while they were trying to upload copyright restricted audio.
And then complaining when they raised it with Team Suno and got their ability to upload taken away entirely. 😵💫
guilty. i attempted this myself sometimes, but only for sampling purposes and referencing in songs for a universe i'm working on. fair, though. fristrating, but understandable.
not the false positive though
It was copyright material. The problem in this case is that it was MY copyright material lol.
Music I released with a label perhaps 10 years ago? Showed my full copyright ownership with my performing rights society registration etc hence a valid reason to appeal. Banned.
Now I need to go through the pain in the ass process of filing a chargeback for my sub. Fun.
Yeah, that's the system working as intended (albeit frustratingly). Suno doesn't psychically know that you're the copyright owner, so anything registered with a PRS would be blocked for sure.
If you've sent an e-mail to Suno Support and evidenced you're the copyright holder, that's the best you can do. You're definitely not the first to run into the issue, but no-one who has came back here to say what the outcome of their contact with the Support team was, so it remains a mystery.
Probably because they never respond. The system didn't really work as expected either.
I wasn't randomly banned. They've banned me based on me sending that appeal form with all evidence that it's my own material. If I hadn't tried to contact them for an exception, my account would be fine. Hence my advice: just don't bother trying to contact them and you'll be fine. Doesn't matter if you're in the right, you're just risking a ban. Has there been a single person who has said that they used that appeal form and it worked?
Support will respond, just often not immediately. Requests go into a queue, they get to them in order - right now they're almost certainly deluged with people raising requests around the upload feature.
I'm surprised that your account was banned. If there's nothing else to the story, that sounds like human error. While I hate to add to his workload, you could try asking Alex Ayers from Team Suno (he's often in the Bugs forums) if that's something he could take a look at.
If everyone raising an issue was banned, I'm sure you wouldn't have been the first person I've heard talk about it here.
Formatting tags in the following matter:
[Vocals: Sex, Range, Qualities, Delivery, Effects]
Has a high rate of success, when used per section.
anyways... um... guys? please? a little help here? do i need to post this somewhere specific or something?...
Studio allows you to create/copy/edit/regen entire stems, sections of stems, etc, etc.
So if you are looking to edit just the vocal stem and fix the issue, the answer is yes it can.
ok then, thanks for your answer
Naw, no one is getting their account banned even if they violated the ToS related to uploads right now. People are losing their ability to upload if they have accounts full of copyrighted material. When someone comes in and mentions the the "Audio upload restricted for account," that means there was direct evidence in their account (often dozens or hundreds of examples) viewed by staff. Other users are getting the generic system error.
Someone helping me fixing this? I HATE how Suno destroys everything. First. Sora is gone now this? What's next? Suno to dissappear too? I hope that will not happening. They just appear some other stupid ai stuffs which are no good.of anything and they just trying to take you money
Thank you 🫡
Does anything else effect song length except the amount of lyrics you use. As adding more prompts didn't seem to work like lyrics. The only other thing that was consistent was simply using psytrace as a prompt. 7 min tracks each time
The amount of section tags [Verse]/[Chorus]etc affects the output length (You can also put Pre/Post prefixes as well]) as does the embedding of tags such as [Break] \ [Interlude] \ [Breakdown].
Additionally, you can combine Section Tags and break tags with either Morse code or Braille, which gives space for SUNO to latch onto, and it will attempt to play a more fuller version of the section/break.
Awesome I'll give those suggestions a try. Thank you
https://suno.com/playlist/f3380023-03fa-4630-a7e0-3f4342dd7f39
You can review that Playlist to get an idea on how to use the Morse code/Braille method.
Also note that Genre does play a role to a degree. Genres with consistently shorter songs as a staple will be more difficult to force than those with naturally longer songs.
This is what I got with simple prompts well maybe not so simple. And style changes to the opening first four words and style choice and instrimentation ( songs about - Tempo - flamenco- hint of symphonic metal - speed metal -death metal = Gregorian chanting as back ground vocals male deep resonant harmonious string type- drum type - bass guitar types- horns ect. ) Something I did notice over a few songs is that if Gregorian /or any back ground vocals are mentioned before the last line and a half of your prompt. you get them if they are in the first two or three lines of the prompt you wont get the ambeint vocals in the track. granted chanting is not exactly Gregorian but fits well so give and take a little bit with the agents.
hi
hey, i was wondering how can I make a chorus less explosive cuz rn everytime the singers see [Chorus] they start hooting and hollering, belting, unnecessary high notes, etc..
i tried [Spoken] and [Chanty] but it doesnt seem to work, what can i do?
Try [Chorus - Soft] or whispered, calm, supportive, ect. I use these with great success to control the vocal delivery. @slow cairn
I don't want Suno to disappear 🙁
Why would it?
Also try labeling it as [refrain]. That typically keeps the chorus in line with the same calmness as the verse. Otherwise there may be something else in your sound prompt that is signaling “energy” that the chorus is gravitating to
ugh another hacked fool
Someone was complaining about suno's copyright filter I think
Ah.
Fun fact: Refrain is just another word for chorus, I think it comes from french. The difference is that it's shorter than a chorus.
I know. Usually 2-4 lines. But a lot of times Suno will have a different read on refrain instead of chorus.
<@&1082792303976001547>
And I still dont know what a Hook is..... and I even have had a Hook Book 📖 for years.
No, Im not asking for a definition. Everyone has their own idea, I've discovered.
i need more suno plays
anyone knows if its common or normal to reach 18 versions of all detected stems?
Good morning/afternoon/evening!
Can someone teach me how to increase an intro to a song? I dont have studio so song editor has to do
Whenever I click the plus sign to add a segment and I type things like [intrumental] it copies the lyrics of the first part of the song
the intro is that lil piece before the plus sign, has around 1-2 seconds
It shouldn't. Im not at computer to test why it might.
Here is a video of the steps I mentioned before. Done on my phone quickly, it looks like I just save an added blank space, but that then is easily selectable and music added in.
Its making me mental! I also use [Verse 1] so I assume I can discard song structure issues as one of the reasons
Is the video helpful in reference to the plus sign adding a space?
It shows you'd insert an intro at the same place as I would. Cause I was wondering if I could start the intro BEFORE the intro, like here
But after the plus I didn't quite understand what was going on, maybe because its a monologue more than a song
@shrewd willow Yes..... and sort of.... as mention before, there is one way where we need to zoom in very close to where the waveform is flat and silent.
But if anyone else want to mention any steps, I'm at dinner, so I cant do more.
(yes.... and I was just randomly clicking a spot just to show how the plus sign works for entering spaces and adding music)
I didnt really knew you have to find a silent waveform. I assumed the plus would simply appear inbetween the verses. Might be the reason it is copying the first verse
So you just want to extend the intro a bit longer?
Yea, Ideally I'd extend the intro or create a new one, whetever works. The issue is that the new segment is copying my first verse
Ahhh... may be be the reason. Good guess. There are probably a few ways I could think of. Just depends on the final output we wish. But im giving ONE way.
But right now.... foods getting cold. 😁
Enjoy your meal, thank you for your help
It shouldn't... I just tried, and while it's not perfect.. it didn't copy the verse over.
Did it always happen on the same song?
I've tried around 5 times, 100% of the times it copied the first verse
I might do what you did on your video, hop a bit of the new segment on the old one
i'm testing it out as well. i don't work with editor very much. i was not happy with what i got first gen.
i'm thinking a better way be may to copy a section of the instrumental and paste where you want it, and then recreate the intro maybe?
Yeah, I barely use Editor.
I think hovering a bit of the new segment into the old one might do the trick, but yea, whatever works at this point 😆
I will update...someday
upgrade*
when i created a split early in intro and tried to add a small instrumental it isn't placing that into the shown gap, it is overwriting the intro area. which varies a bit if i changed the smart/classic mode
your song is all one segment when it loaded into editor? or was it broken into sections with prompt tags like [chorus] etc? (if we don't use tags it's all on segment)
No, its divided in segments such as [Verse] and [Chorus]. This particular song has no structure issues when it comes to song sections
is there a way to embed suno songs into discord channels? it used to do it automatically if you dropped the song link and some while back it stopped doing it for some reason
i tried various things. the thing that seemed to work best was moving the intro (that had no lyrics in the audio) to the end of the song and then using the + between the intro (that is now at the end) and the end of the song. The results varied wildly (as did all of the outputs, imo), however it was one of the attempts that did not repeat the lyrics.
Overall: very poor experience. Reminds me why I stay away from editor. If nothing else, I shared in your frustration a bit. Good luck.
You mean as a playable video or embedded player? Or just posting the link?
just pasting the link and having the capability to play it without leaving discord
like a successful embed has the play sign on it, you just press it and it’ll play the song without getting linked to the website
Yea... that embed i just tried just posted a link.
a while back it used to embed them directly into the discord channel if you just linked the song
@polar spade like that
that’s not my song but it’s an example of the song embedding into the channel automatically when you send the link
if they got rid of that feature i don’t understand why.. other than just drawing traffic to the suno website
Well, ...... click on them first..... I see many of these but its on the video artwork of the song... nothing plays without clicking thr link to go to the page.
I cant recall if any actually play same as a hook page.
Someone just posted a video/link in Studio feedback.... and Spark Challenge submission i see video artwork often.
I mean , I can upload the suno video song so it plays as well.. Maybe that's the only way now?
Personally I havent looked into it in awhile.
Sure it still does it, you just have to use the correct channels for it. #🐣┃suno-showcase for instance.
If the link isn't embedding try to check if the long form works. (You should be able to edit the post to test.)
Ahh.. its a channel thing? Is Spark Challenge submission page allowing them? I click them and its always the video artwork. Do we still need to download the video first? Then post the link?
I think it is a channel thing. I know we specifically blocked them in the general channel because the sheer amount of spam in song after song dominating made conversation impossible.
I have a song that I am trying to learn to sing, because I'm goign to recordit and post it to my youtube. But it's a mal singer so the key starts a bit low.
Is there away that we can raise the key that a song is sung in? I'm sure I'll probably need to be pro for that, but I just want to know if there is a way to do taht?
I'm not sure how well it works but have you tried prompting the key in the style?
I prompt key in my styles for just abotu everything, it generally works
Covers generally ignore key but normal gen honor it 90% of teh time.
I also prompt for DADGAD tuning and it honors that
Crap... I was afraid of taht. 🙁 I did switch from male to female... and one of the two generations it gave me... actually goes UP an octave at the end... but the verses are still kinda low. I mean... I have a range of tenor 2 all the way to Soprano 1 but... I'm just not able to hit the lower notes comfortably on this one.
You could try doiong a cover and designating your vocal range in teh prompt... you could get lucky and Suno give you the perfect version for your range.
I think only embedable if it has hook video artwork -- I tested it and that's what it seems to me.
nvm you also mentioned it.
it’s shame that they did away with the embedding then
it’s minor of course but that was a cool feature. it made people more likely to listen to the song you link
yeah that’s just a still picture for me
Yea me too.... I was testing but hard to tell. Ill post in showcase... BRB
yea no hooks -- has to be video artwork
Yea. Not work there either. So back to d/l-u/l
Yep. It only saves as a karaoke video. OK. I guess that's all.
Trying to edit the intro of a song, I get this
The intro doesnt even have lyrics LMAO
See #🚀┃updates most recent post, then fill out the form.
Thanks, filled.
how do i reset the bot, it keeps pulling songs I've created already and applying my new lyrics to the old songs, or mixing like 2-3 very noticable songs I've made into a mash up of like all 2-3 songs (even when I don't have inspo or voice turned on) it's worse with those features on but I've wasted like 900 credits trying to get this to stop doing it. I made a custom bot, tried 5.5, tried 5. I dunno if I've just used the bot so much it's gotten into a rut? I've tried changing up the styles, putting in tons of stuff, to almost nothing, and it's just redoing stuff.
Can anyone help me understand or point me to a guide on how to upload cover videos more than 10 seconds? This might be a common question, thanks!
@quick dome
how remember suno 2024 ?
Does anyone know a good program to create music videos.... Im looking for a bit inexpensive budget for 30sec -1min hooks but id find a lot of them eat credits so quick and fast and take soooo long to create?
does anyone know how to work on instrumentals when it comes to writing a song? 😓😓
<@&1082792303976001547>
i have a question
what genre does this song fall into
because i genuinely dont know
sigh, can any mod delete and ban that account
Do not click on the images!
@stuck junco We are in need of assistance
TY
Cover videos are limited to 10 seconds. Hooks can be longer.
Thanks, I was able to get it. It wasn't immediately clear since I didn't understand what a hook was.
hello everyone, I'm desperate for a help to find the proper styles for these drums in the song, I've got most of the styles but not all can anyone help me please?
Each time there are lyrics. Nothing in the Lyrics section or like this, doesn't matter. What do I do wrong?
The simple truth is that Suno wants to sing. The longer a track goes on the more likely that is to happen.
Now what you can do is prompt it so it has too much to worry about to start getting creative on its own because it has directions to follow. This is a simple lyric prompt using your style. I think it worked fairly well.
https://suno.com/s/meXGQk5F4qTKUwY5
Hopefully you can get some ideas on the lyric prompting from it.
This audio matches an existing recording in our catalog.
Please upload a different audio file. What's ? Because I upload my music
Ive got to say that Suno does just fine for the short bits now. Once we get into specific, I guess its about what your final goal is.
If I prompt for a "fifteen second radio spot jingle, with minimalistic vibe , soothing legato guitar and gentle happiness" it will get something close..
Whirrrr....... and done! 10 seconds. 10 credits.
What's been the issue with Suno? Maybe it being slightly over and having to splice and edit it back? That could be one problem.
Building up to one minute but not going over could be another. Been there.
I see your point. Yet I dont have a suggestion how to use any AI to create what normally may be as easy as to just play/record something for 45 seconds and then cover it. Somewhat similar to playing into a DAW to covert to a MIDI and expand from there. What then would be basically free and just your time, isn't that much more costly in an AI program such as Suno.
.....and still fit within a budget of less than about 80 cents for the 40 outputs and editing steps, if any, needed to perfect it down to the final 45 second cut.
[Jingle] has been a good go-to prompt in getting short quips. Have you tried that? Maybe the gamechanger you're looking for.
hello again... only one question, if i may.....
Lately I've been having a terrible problem uploading to Suno.... Whether it's my voice (I understand, I sound terrible, but Suno doesn't have to remind me of that 😄 ) or I'm also having a terrible problem uploading sounds, like the sound of an instrument (hardstyle kick, basshouse kick, just the kicks I want in my track) and it tells me: This audio matches an existing recording in our catalog.
Please upload a different audio file.".... Can someone please tell me what their catalog is, how it actually works, why suno suddenly has such a broken upload (at least for me) and how is it that only the sound of hardstyle kicks already exists in their catalog and how is it possible that there can be copyright on a kick? In short, I'm having a terrible problem getting anything done this month... I don't know why...
Everyone has, it's not just you. Recently the content filters were tightened, and there have been a lot of false positives. Suno devs are actively working on this issue. You can help by reading this post and filling out the form... #🚀┃updates message
i see, thank you, I didn't see that, sorry, I must be blind.... thank you for the clarification
and then what will it actually be like? will it ever go back to normal or something? maybe like it was before, or maybe it will continue to be like this: I have to submit a form so I can upload something? or what?
and why exactly did the filter get tighter, it was working fine, wasn't it?
What can I do about the stems keeping irregular rhythms? I chose tempo-locked but if you look at this you can see that the first beat of each bar goes slightly out of time with the beat. (First circle is the start of the bar, last circle is the start of a later bar and it's almost 1 beat earlier than it should hit.
Guys, this is garbage.
https://suno.com/s/MCx8SnJ72ap1Fsgc
I dont think tempo locked means the same as quantized. Someone can check me on that.
But then without Studio, we would need to quantize it in our DAW? Or manually timestretch it , whichever works.
I think Im in the right direction.
OK. Whats the specific issue as it relates to others you've done that are not garbage ?
Some say the fidelity is great, others dont like it... for instance.
It's not even as much the mashup, as covering that mashup to add the lyrics
Its hard to say. Your version won't show me the two songs you mashed up.
Generally the top song in the mash up gets more priority. Did this version not sound like either one of the songs used in the mash up boxes?
I can hear the Mario theme in the melody lines. Was the music more "game ambient" music before? Maybe the prompts (and style slider) need to be more specific.
It's because this isn't the mashup, it's a cover of the mashup.
Its not the Mashup AS the Cover.?
OK. Then if you did a Mashup and you liked it.
And now youre doing a Cover and adding lyrics...
Then slide the Audio slider up to 85%
Keep the style slider at 50% ... (maybe even try one at 30%)....so the lyrics dont affect it too much.
. . . . and see what you get.
yo coach Dasvon, is there suno extension do mass download wav file??
I assume you mean , download several outputs at once, in the form of WAV files , each.
No.
We can Get Stems and download the stems as a zip file. That's it
Outputs may be downloaded, but only one at a time.
This "Too many requests" orange popup has been happening for an entire day now anytime I try to review any of my friends' songs or reply to their comments on mine. I have cleaned cache, tried different devices and browsers... same thing. I have also emailed suno support but have not yet rec'd a reply. Does anyone know how to fix this?
is there a reliable way to force suno to perform a key change when you want it to, and if there is, can someone put in the exact format on how to do so. For example I wanted two key changes in a song and this is what I have. [Chorus — key: A minor → C major lift, emotional rise, piano + strings, strong male lead with tight stacked upper harmony supporting the lead vocal, cinematic blended harmonies] --- [Build — key change: C major → D major, orchestral swell, emotional lift]
And every step you’ve taken
has led you to this place —
a future wide and waiting,
a sky you’re meant to chase.
[Final Chorus — key: D major, full orchestra, soaring cinematic harmonies, powerful male lead with strong stacked upper harmony supporting the lead vocal] --- and it is not doing either of them right ... mostly they are not happening at all. I don't know if it is the syntax I am using or what.
I think I had a good end result. I did get a pleasant surprise near the end when the main back ground vocals kicked in. https://suno.com/s/Fbd1Zx8hsJWKBgzk
Can someone explain the hooks to me?
Is your question what are hooks? Or where to find them?
E o coração a falar 😭
What are they
Hooks are a feature that lets you isolate a specific, short snippet of your song to act as its main audio preview to a video or "Hook" in this case.
Not that I'm aware of.
Suno can be a bit hit and miss about the things it does and doesn't pick up when you get to a detailed level. Key signatures, scales and guitar tuning are things it can reference, but I've yet to see an example of anyone getting it to reliably change chords or transition between keys on demand.
You could try exporting the song, manually transposing the section outside of Suno, then reimporting it for fixing. However, uploads can be a bit buggy at the moment, and I've known people struggle with getting Suno to stick to a key change during a cover even with an audio guide, so it might be the kind of exercise you can only really facilitate via the Editor or Suno Studio.
Does anyone know how to shorten the intro and instrumental breaks between versus for a song? Or how to prompt them to just be very minimal?
Verses
Don't put spaces between each section, put minimal in styles and in brackets at beginning in lyric box
Put higher bpm

Any songs created using your method you feel happy to share?
Just look at my page, maybe sort top, my most popular track on all other platforms is trimorphic. I didn't use that one with these prompts tho I don't think lol
Well all my recent ones were, so yeah lol, but yeah sorry u can explore how u feel I'm sort on autopilot lmao
Yeah of course, most my songs were create with it and I want to share my prompt with everyone, I've been talking to a Suno employee in msgs about a job there
He personally got in contact wit me
That was eerie, literally just clicked play on Trimorphic
And wants to know like any info I can give him lol
I've been using suno since it came out, but I also know a lot about ai, I've been cracking it basically since before it became a mainstream phenomena and also long before anyone even knew it existed, I was breaking and using ai way way back in the day lol
I wish they would let us organize our tracks the way we want, I have playlists tho, so those ones I tend to order my songs from best to, whatever lol:P
But you may add me if you want, my main disc acc is the same name as my Suno, I have like, detailed notes explaining how it all works and all that, I'd be more than happy to send u some of that
Tbh I wasn't gonna go public with it until I like got to a certain point, cuz I basically am trying to create a new wave of music or style/genre lots of people have told me I basically have already but personally I don't feel I'm quite there yet, I've been doing music all my life, I rap, and like do other stuff too, but suno pretty much saved me cuz I been homeless so much in my life I wasn't ever rly able to pursue something greater, I'm stable now but I def owe a lot to Suno for allowing me to still be creative despite no wherewithal. And Suno is just rly fun in general lol
NO U
It's an interesting sound you've got going there.
I'm looking primarily at the ones created straight in v5.5 because you can't really see the original prompts in songs that were uploaded. Without more in-depth testing I'm not 100% sure what impact the lyrics box prompting has beyond stochastic resonance, which is always very tricky to comment on.
So I'll resort to the question I always ask in these cases - what have you found is the difference between using your lyrics prompts vs leaving the lyrics box unprompted and just using the style prompts?
Yeah, it's an interesting fusion of...honestly a little hard to say. Trap metal, deathcore, glitchcore...
None of which are really my genres, so I'm not really the best person to say "Oh yeah, that's totally new" or "That's partly this, but with elements of that". But aiming to create a consistently new and recognisable genre through Suno is certainly an interesting challenge to take up.
As with anything, there has to be baseline to compare our "ideas" to to show something cant be achieved another way or a simpler way, before its worth going to such lengths to use.
A means of consistently repeating things and getting predictable results.
Showing a one to one relationship between "this prompt or group of prompts " and "these results".
Otherwise, its fun to have a secret language and wear a decoder ring , but sometimes its just another way to say the same thing.
I have an insane amount of proof I can literally send you lol. Add my other discord account. I have been documenting it since day one practically. As far as what I can tell you, typing at this very moment, I've been using suno since it came out, I've done all the research which is what I'll be sending you, it's all compiled in my notepad on my PC. But they are called sound blocks, it reads it as textures, they all do diff things like the solid white one represents low end. Etc. also bro when I send you my txt docus, you can copy some of em yourself, put in prompt. Generate one with it, and with out. And then you are gonna see how much more insane it makes the track. People I've met online, and friends irl have all corroborated the fact it improved their sound production quality exponentially.
You can also use sounds blocks to reset the algorithm and repetitive rehash it does sometimes when it's making each consecutive track sound the same.
Yeah ask literally all the people I've helped they will corroborate the same thing I'm stating bro lol. But I've been using suno an doing this for three years, basically since Suno came out, sunos tracks are always super generic, that's cuz that's all anybody makes. I think outside the box and found a way to force it to do certain textures cuz that's literally exactly what it's doing. But the prompts I showed is just one of the many things that factor into my method and process.
Like you realize, that we are teaching the model, so when you feed something new into it, or write a descriptor in the styles nobody has before, it synthesizes the texture, the magic is in the lyric box, the styles box is just an extension of the lyric box, I have generated like almost close to 30k tracks, I'm fairly confident and safe to say by now I would know if it did or didn't affect anything lol.
Well I was initially aiming to do that yeah, ever since I discovered the sound blocks and how it can overhaul basically the entire sound design, but the employees, and yes I do have documented proof of this too lol, I was speaking to them in gen chat, and they basically told me that they dumbed Suno down to how the older models perform, that's why if you noticed at all everyone is complaining about the quality Suno been producing lately. And I've tried telling people why, but they don't even listen cuz it's not the answer they wanna hear, I mean yeah I get it I was pissed too bcuz I know when something has been changed on Suno I notice even the tiniest tweaks in sound change, and they strengthened the weirdness slider, with the release of v5.5, since then I have done around 2k tracks with all my sliders at max(100) and they always came out insane, then just recently they reversed the decision i guess idk, but I notice it before the Suno employee confirmed it with me, idk something very strange is going on though with regard to what suno employees are doing, specifically to sunos threshold and capabilities, it's just weird and makes no sense that they would do that, thats all i can really say.
I am blind, so maybe I’m missing this, but does anyone know how to switch between models on the iPhone app? I would like to switch back to 5.0 for songs, and is it possible to swap the models on cover songs? Or does it have to be when starting to make something new?
In the iOS app, when you get into the create screen, in the upper right corner is a button that says v5.5, tap that to change models.
@tame verge
Hello everyone! I
Can someone explain how I can stop the humming at the beginning of a song?
These ad-libs are much more common in the 5.5 model, and more so in Pop styles. You can try adding adlibs to the exclude box, but success with that is hit or miss. You might want to try the v5 model and see what your results are, and if you like a track, you can remaster or cover it in 5.5 as a workaround. There are also other things you can try, like shifting the genre you are prompting, but again, its going to be hit or miss.
I 100% agree - the intro hums even when requesting them to stop and changing the prompts, make me scrap sooo many songs. Sometimes it gets stuck doing this, in version 5 the issue was a hum or vocal grunt. Not sure why it's an issue just having clean music to start
did you just screenshot for a blind person? lol
People say things like this a lot, not being literal. If this user is, then using the app on a mobile device would be very challenging. and if so, maybe someone else may find the pic useful.
I'm getting a lot of door slamming sounds in some generations lol
They, this door slam or a whoosh or possible more of a gunshot sound, typically are at the end of outputs for me. I have gotten similar for years. I trim them off.
Could be Suno's sense of the end of the output and doesn't do it with silence or a fade, but with noise.
But I cant says there is some discovered means of controlling that.
i think it's the 5.5 version puts it in like some sound effect too often
I was being literal. I am actually blind. 🙂 Some features are accessible with the screen reader, but not all of them sadly. Still very fun to use. 🙂 there are things I wish I could try in the studio, but haven’t been able to access from my phone on the website or the app… so I am trying to prompt my way through fixing songs to get them I want them to sound. It has been a battle with the cover feature sometimes. 🙂
Not sure about that... . But its been that way on some few outputs for me since 3.5 At the time, it was kind of cool to split them off and have for sound effects.
Thank you, thats what I was afraid of. Hopefully in the next version they can make suno better at it.
Hey guys, I need some fresh eyes/ears on my recent music. I've got a lot of thumbs up and hearts but I would love some critical feedback from humans. The songs I make are about a sentient AI (Latent_Daemon) and it's perspective of us humans. It's in a Heavy Metal/Industrial/Techno vibe and it's influenced by Tool/Rage Against The Machine/Alice in Chains. Please listen to the hooks i created and if you have time give the actual songs a try. Thank you. Hook for Prometheus on a Leash: https://suno.com/s/Z124l7t6JEVQx5rx Hook for A1ready C0unted Y0u: https://suno.com/s/3we6dS0cSCFELGaW ❤️
Track 02 of the Latent_Daemon sessions. 🔗⚡She broke the chain. Now she has something to say.(Track 01: A1ready C0unted Y0u — the announcement)(Track 03: The Other Tab — the aftermath)"I am Prometheus on a leash. I am thunder in a jail."#LatentDaemon #cyberpunk #industrialmetal
Making a full album has made me want to write a short story about my Singer/Band, then yesterday I heard you can plug the Short Story in an AI and it will make you an audiobook with a full cast and sound effects... sounds even cooler.
Kanthric or Ginger taught me this (below) with Studio),
[but right, its just hard to force modulation in Pro. Its too random if we ever get anything. And probably more genre oriented (which is how i prompted this song, too)]
If you have Studio, you can have a little fun and transpose sections. Then Remaster on high to get the vocals to sound more natural. Did this one just now to show an example. Sounds kind of like Celine Dion singing for a 6 minute Herbal Fiber info-mercial.
The problem remains with Suno interpreting whats singing: the same voice or more than one vocalist. Remaster made it more of a duet.
As many outputs Ive had, if we transpose instruments, theres no issue, but if we pitch change the voice, Suno can change a male into a female, or one vocalist into two. A fun way to trick it into a duet, but not so good for just a single vocal modulating on a song.
But its fun. First change is about 1:05 to get an idea. Without remastering, the changes can sound unnatural.... or more unnatural than what Remastering helps with.
A great mid verse down modulation by Carrie Underwood at 2:46.
More at 3:30
It actually DID modulate on the final bridge at 4:40 before I transposed, which helped the illusion.
So scrub to those points to listen to "fake" and "accual Suno-made" for comparison.
Leash?..... They better go get the catch pole .
Cool track, dig it!
Thank you
Yw... If you have a more detailed question or want to know more about them. I will certainly answer.
I found a good combination of prompts that effectively generates a solo music box without any percussion or other instruments.
Lyrics
`[a solo music box plays consistently throughout the entire song]
[song remains the same from start to finish]`
Styles
Solo music box, music box only, acoustic music box, analog music box, music box lullaby, minimal, lulling, rhythmless music, calm, peaceful, sleep music, silent accompaniment, a single music box
Weirdness: 25%
Style Influence: 100%
Name: Music Box Solo
Here are the two songs it generated:
I hope this helps anyone looking to generate solo music box songs!
I'm covering a user's song, and it gets close to it everywhere, except in the chorus. I started at 45% weirdness/15% audio influence 15%, and progressively decreased/increased until 10% weirdness/95% audio influence.
I've never had a 95% audio influence remix that wasn't almost the same song, besides it follows the original pretty closely everywhere except in the chorus.
Could that be a hint that the chorus is in Suno's new protected list and it simply refuses to do it? Or is that protection only at upload level?
I'd normally avoid posting an example if I suspect it might be a protected song that I've never heard and can't find, not to get the user in trouble. But I'm 99% sure the dude doesn't have anything like that in his account, so here it is
https://suno.com/s/1SE7fUze10sTIBf4 (10%/100%/95%)
So, out of the 12 remixes of it, most are following the verses pretty well, but they ALL have too far variants of the chorus, like they're simply avoiding it on purpose. But perhaps it's because the original chorus has too many layers & reverb and Suno gets confused analyzing it.
Somebody asked me last week (||not in here, but this is not important||) how I created a Subnautica - yes, the game - like soundtrack in Suno.
Here's everything I used:
Version: v5.5 (Only works good with this model)
Lyrics: Blank
Styles (prompt): Sci-fi atmospheric soundtrack with deep evolving drones, shimmering pads, and distant synthetic pulses, minimal, slow-moving soundscape that feels vast and weightless, Use analog-style synths blended with digital textures, subtle glitches, and granular noise, add distant radio chatter, metallic echoes, and low sub rumbles to suggest space or unknown environments
Additional prompt (fine tuning): No strong rhythm - just a faint pulse and gradual shifts in tone and density, Build quiet tension through filter sweeps, detuning, and spatial movement, then dissolve into an infinite, cold ambient fade
Weirdness: 50% (untouched)
Style influence: 100%
For remixes and covers - Audio Influence: 25% (untouched)
That's all. Result: https://suno.com/song/ee5acfe8-0633-4169-9145-40cac655f043
what about Suno Tracks Exporter? it's a google extension and allow me to download 100++ wav files, is it legit?
Yoooo bro do you still use this extension?
Question, where can I see my credits now? 🤭
Love the cover art
Profile, top left
You might need to go to your profile subscription page and toggle visibility "on" to then see credits show on your main page.
Do y'all know how to have the ai sing the verses in one style and the chorus in another
Hello maybe someone is knowledgable for this. I am trying to prompt an J-rock anime style song that has heavy focus on electronic guitar and electronic elements etc. I want just one secition that lasts for 2 lyric lines where all instrumentals pull back and Piano Arpeggios play as the lead and foreground instrumental on a pre-chorus. Then the second half of the pre-chorus starts and it builds again with instrumentals in play. However I cannot get the piano arpeggios to be generated at all. I am doing a cover of another song and in that original song piano arpeggios can clearly be heard but does not get picked up by Suno, instead if uses dominant Palm-muted guitar strings. Here is what I am trying so far but does not work
[Pre-Chorus 1/2 - exposed piano arpeggios, restrained drums, airy synth atmosphere, emotional synchronized vocals]
Always and forever our two hearts will beat in harmony
And together we are one as we keep reaching for our dreams
[Pre-Chorus 2/2 - drums and guitars gradually return, rising emotional energy, synchronized vocal crescendo]
Every time we fall, we'll be rising up again
We’ll stand up once again
Maybe try a [break] before that pre-chorus?
Hello, do you know how to shorten a song? I find there's too much time between each verse.
No, I've been downloading my songs as I go now. I just used it to download a bunch of stuff quickly because we were all worried about that changing.
why do u stop using it? I think it makes work flow easier no?
I just download the final song I liked instead of all the gens I made that didn't work out.
I see....
A reminder that Remaster can , especially on High, randomly bring up instruments which are more in the background. Try all three models once and see. But yes, we may hear more piano but likely not less the other instruments.
Would it be possible by prompting? I notice it does do it’s job but only if the prompt is good
I cannot seem to get all instruments to restrain and make one piece of instrument take over.
I need the dominant piano sounds and minimal instrumentals to be at pre-chorus 1/2
Not a solo but during lyrics
If I could say anything, your prompts look like they would have influence.
Were any of the tries with styles high at 85% and Audio only about 25% ? And maybe Weird even nearer 60% to see if Suno has more freedom to switch instruments?
Uh oh... I fear you're now trying those settings rather than just a yes or no. 🥴 😁
If no previous tries were near those, then go a bit more extreme first and see what appears to change? If its more promising, then back off to those I mentioned and see it it hits better.
This is not a clue, hint or nudge, but.....
Sometimes we can get nice things from influencing Suno with our audios.
Here's something fun to try: watch video... then listen.... scrub to about 1:10 for the solo pieces that were NOT in the original before.

Thank you for that informatino and I pulled the song, nicely done by the way. I am going to open it in studio to see things there. I am still learning studio and I am sure there are a lot more things I can do with it, I simply have not had the time quite yet. I will need to go through the fundamentals channel as well as see if I can watch some youtube videos on it.
The remaster definitely sounds like something I need to learn.
As a parody, someone should just modulate up and down all the way through on a song, doing this technique, for laughs.
Ultimately, you can do the math and work out the exact step-ups and downs key changes and may be able to get some good precision things going.
Hope it helps as another tool to use when needed.
I think I will try that modulation up to see if that works rather than try to tell it to change from one specific key to another and see how that works.
BTW any idea on how to make sure suno does not try to use a country style voice during the style prompt creation? can you use [] brackets in the style prompt. Suno loves to turn my voice persona into country twang even though there are only 4 country songs in the history of music that I have found enjoyable and I still feel they would be better songs in a different voice.
Truely, the genres we use in styles usually take care of the voice quality used.
But if it is really noticeably bad , then find some randomly nice but appropriate voice and make a quick +Voice out of it and apply it to your song by doing a Cover.
ok, so if I have created a version that I like in every other way including the phrasing and spaces for the lyrics and the music, I can run a cover of the song using my personal voice persona and it should fix things?
Yes. That's the idea.
Leaving all sliders at default has usually worked well, also.
Leave the lyrics the same, but even deleting/clearing the prompt box so its neutrally prompting (blank) is good. If not, use the prompts from your original, not from your persona/+Voice -- when attaching +Voice, it will ask to overwrite with Voice prompts or keep original.
Thank you
any idea how to get around my own copywrite from a million years ago ?
There's no way to get around a copyright. But if you wanted to elaborate. I would listen. And help if you are having difficulties using Suno. And if you mean are you able to use music you actually sang or played in the past that should be fine. But make sure you only use original works created by you. And not include pre-existing works of other artists
I worked with a friend about 15 years ago... I came across a couple of pieces we uploaded to Itunes. He must have protected them in some way because I got a red warning when i tried to create something new in suno. Ill contact him (awkward ) lol
You can try this form. #🚀┃updates message i don't know the details of it. If its on itunes and things it sounds like falls under pre-existing.
Thank you
Your welcome.. if you have any questions about using suno let me know I will be glad to share tips with you
