For the vocal to begin a line or whole stanza , we can use [vocal]. That's all.
As it's just one line, we likely dont even need the tag [vocal]. Putting the line in quotes will likely get it sung or spoken. No quotes , it would be sung, solo or it might be treated as choral refrain (like a call and response since its just one line.
-- but if seems needed, then try [vocal | solo]
[Break] - if "break" is working for you, then keep it going. I know [interlude] usually gives me almost exactly 20 seconds each time for me. Occassionally it might go for 2 minutes. Lol. But the longer it goes, the easier I can crop it back if needed.
[NO....this/that] suno builds the arrangement first, so it can't build from "NO" and ignores it. It may read the next bit and give you more of what you dont want.
In this case, specifically you just want silence.... but.... with the vocals being sung and not spoken. That's harder as Suno like melodies to have accompaniment.
• we can go with [vocal | solo] again... hut even [spoken] [melodically] (baritone) might also have a chance.
Since its to be without music, there is actually a common solution from past DAW work that requires Studio or an outside DAW. Just do the whole song. Extract the vocals and instrumental tracks (2) not (12) (so far that can be done in Suno Pro tier). Then load in a DAW and just clip out the instrumental parts so that only the vocal is singing.
