I'm experiencing a login issue with Suno AI. In the past, I was always able to log in without any problems, but now I receive a message stating that my access is not authorized.

To gain access, I had to use a different login method, but this has created some difficulties in managing my subscription. Additionally, the issue occurs on both Mac and iPad, so it seems to be related to the platform rather than the device.

I’m trying to figure out the slider settings. What I’m trying to do is create a song and split the stems. Then upload, let’s say the guitar track and make a cover of it so it has no flaws. The problem is when I put that back in my DAW it’s not in time with the other tracks. What slider setting keep the structure and timing, but get rid of stem split artifacts?

Ive been noticing many subscriptions, though the payment has not yet processed have had a weighstation effect of having usable remaining credits on their present level past the refresh date . But this is a first to hear of granted ussable 2500 credits but limited basic tools only.

Before, basically, an international user was show 2500 credits but be I'm limbo and just locked until payment was posted.

If you're Basic, then the Basic column would show "cancel" on the bottom and Pro column should say "upgrade". Pro account would say "cancel" under Basic and "Active" under Pro.

Honestly, if you're here on the east coast you should have already had payment posted and be active.

Glitches can happen when one pays for a subscription after its expire date -- when the right hand thinks you're status is expired and the left hand thinks you've paid for a new subscription ( not necessarily "renewed" but is handling the same account as being both expired/Basic and New/Pro. )

Just today we had a similar issue. It may need for a close hand to make sure your account is recognized as "active and paid" since you're EST and local US banks.

Is it just one particular song you're trying to create or any song you try? I know sometimes mine do not get created if there are lyrics I use that get flagged for some reason. I know in the past that this was due to vocal-like sounds detected in the upload. Not only does it restrict derivatives from being made public but it also prevents use of persona, likely due to impersonation concerns.

I am not sure if that is still the case. I would test it out but upload audio is busted in my browser of choice (Firefox Beta) :/

Additionally, the system still seems to struggle with following instructions accurately.

Since the sliders Suno has become bad. Only problems! Wanted to cover my song which was nearly finished. Only needed to change one word in lyrics. But the cover had a different sound, it was not like the original. So I "played" with the sliders (spend my credits to make it possible to Cover my song as it worked before). OK, now I think I got the settings to make a cover that is like to original track. But today, if I cover this song, I most get unfinished tracks. Instead of about 3:30 minutes, the tracks are some seconds, or one minute or whatever, but not finished. It is simply interrupted. It would be great if Suno will make new features optional, by a switch. I don´t like that I can not complete started tracks, because everything is different now.

Using cover is not the appropriate tool for changing a single or a couple words in your lyrics. Cover does not duplicate the song, it regenerates it with differences, like covers done by real bands, there are almost always differences in style and vocalization. What you want is Replace Section, in this part of the editor you can select a small window that has the word you want to change, and change just that word without changing anything else about the song.

You can use the extend feature to make your songs longer past the four minute mark. I’m not familiar with Dragonforce-style but Suno does have articles and guides that you can check out if there’s ever anything else that you need help with. There’s their knowledge base site, https://discord.com/channels/1069381916492562582/1252267444773326848 and they have Suno Ai Wiki. Never hesitate to ask if you’re not sure of any thing around Suno.

It's been my one real complaint about this model, once I figured the rest out, so if I could find a working solution, it would make my whole weekend. I'm assuming you are using 4.5 as the model? Unfortunately, we all battle a RNG when generating a track, on top of Suno trying to enforce what it thinks is appropriate for the genre and style types you choose. In my experience, the genre and style determine how long initial generations will be, and more often than not, you will need to extend them to get what you are after. One thing you can do to try and get Suno to generate longer songs is change up the styles to those the traditionally have longer songs, and a try fusion of sytles. Theres not really a hard set list of things you can do to get longer songs, I have spend thousands of credits trying to make Suno do what I envision, and it can be frustrating figuring out the set instructions that make magic.

in 4.5 I have found that Suno will do what it thinks is popular for a genre. If youy are trying to put an Interlude, break, instrumental, solo, where the model doesnt think one should be its going to be very difficualt to get one. I have found that using the most simple meta tags are more successful, and the type of tag you use depends on where its at in the song. I had a song I wanted an instrumental in between the bridge and the final verse and Suno refused to put one there until I changed to a [Break].

I tend to use instrumental breaks, instrumental pre-choruses, and instrumental bridge tags a lot so that each section of the song has a kind of musical lead-in; it makes my outputs feel more "real", and less "rushed", but this model doesn't seem to like them. No. I went to workgroups and unclicked everything just in case. It took about 3 minutes in Premium for it to process a 10 second recording of my voice.... but if I clicked then to library and back to Create, it started reprocessing again. Somethings buggy it seems.

I think I've seen this before, where you go downloading your remix of your own song, there's a panel saying this, but also allow to download anyway.

I’ve been consistently experiencing issues with the music and vocal quality. Most of the generated tracks have poor overall audio, with noticeable growling, hissing in the vocals, and background noise. Even when I use the Remaster feature, the issues persist—sometimes even degrading previously clean vocals, making them sound worse.

Yes it has 3 choices. I clicked Library and then Same and the audio upload goes to the process screen. When the pink bar reaches the end it should disappear, which it did on Pro.... but stuck at 99-100% on a premium.

I know there is an Editor Feature, but despite cuting i never used it.

But i dont just want to cut the end, i would want to replace it with a grand solo, i hope there is a possibility to make sonu create one in that space, and then at the end place the chorus one more time and have it end on a nice slow pace.

Is this even possible, and if, can someone explain to me hiw to do it?

Extends have been an original and go-to for adding endings. Go to your song, click the [ . . . ] 3-vrtical dot menu. Click edit/extend to bring the lyrics and prompts into the Create panel.

Change your prompts as you wish and you can even try clicking the "magic wand" in the right corner of prompts panel to let Suno interpret your prompts.

Change your lyric box to only have the remaining lyrics you wish. This depends on where you start your extend. What timemark you decide. This can be a line or even the whole last chorus, which is often the case.

Click the extend timemark ahown and manually ENTER in the exact timemark you wish to start the extension.

Hopefully then, clicking Remix button at the bottom will give you some outputs that are creative.

Caution: there has been a recent glitch that the FIRST extend seems to want to give small short 2 to 10 second outputs. If that happens, repeat the extend process on that second Part 2 extend and choose a spot about half way back, so obviously only about 2 to 5 seconds back. Click Remix and let it try again by giving you an extend Part 3.

When done and you like one , on that last extend you like.... click the menu [ . . . ] /Create/ Get whole song to splice all parts and originsl to create a Full Song.

Sound effects are not always guaranteed.. but you can try them in [ ,,] and if lucky it'd work.

The new editor allows you to actually add content in the track, in the editor click between the sections and you will see a + click that...

After getting an added section you can drag the selection bigger for longer additions. Just make sure you are telling Suno what to add here or you will get hallucinating and gibberish

When replacing lyrics, do it in small parts, dont just try to replace an entire verse all at once, do a few words in a short window. I have 100% success with that method.

Editor changes have been moving pretty fast, and they dont publish a manual on what it exactly does, so we all have to experiment with it.

You can try the metatags another AI writes. Up to you. There are many AI music generators out there so tags may work on one but not the other.

Likely many won't work because is a small phrasal structure which suno might just ignore or at least pick out one word from.

But having said that, Suno is changing how it views sentence structure and eventually the metatags from another AI might gradually start working.

Ok. Thanks. Was wondering. I made a Song with a choir intro and the AI wrote [instruktions for a choir start] before the first lyrics and i just wrote "choir" beside other styles in the style Window and it almost all songs had a fine choir right at the start of the Song

I had to exit out of the editor before it started cutting up my song bad. Especially since I really love this song, it just has a mispronunciation

From what I saw, he weren’t being rude or disrespectful at all. He were just honestly frustrated about all the bugs and how little seems to be fixed so far. The only real change recently was rolling back something from an older version. Plus, there hasn’t been much info from staff about what’s going on or when things will get better. Also, it’s not very professional for a staff to argue with users like that. Other staff usually handle things better — they either share some info or stay quiet, but don’t escalate things like that staff did. The way that situation was handled just made things worse. • Clicking the button does not Toggle the option. Click anywhere on the same line but NOT the switch/button itself and you will soon get a toast message saying that the option was toggled.

How old is the video? As SirBitesAlot mentioned, the derivatives of uploaded files (specifically those that were detected with vocal-like sounds in the past*) are prevented from being made public and prevents personas from being created due to impersonation concerns.

It may have worked in the distant past but that function (persona on uploaded) was blocked...quite some time ago

Yep. It is a pain when trying to cover in your own voice but it is understandable why Suno did this to avoid being sued (and things like ELVIS law in Tennessee may be proposed in other states/countries eventually).

If you want to upload use your own vocals, you will want to look into vocal cloning services which swaps the singer in a song with your RVC Model (voice profile). Makes it much easier for an AI Idol or the like to have consistent vocal property.

Just remember: if you use a voice that does not belong to you nor have permission to use (and it was not synthetically generated), you can put yourself at a legal liability for, at the least, impersonation

Kits.ai is one such service and I know that there is a YouTuber that showed how to do it with a Suno song (and accidentally showed how to do a duet when he gender swapped the voice extracted from the Suno song)

But there are other services out there too that may be more suitable or better pricing. It has been some time but one other site I know is https://elevenlabs.io/. Definitely look around for a better and cheaper alternative!

Unfortunately, it will not, it will still be the current situation with having detected vocal-like sounds in the upload.

Typically voice cloning is close to the final step in the pipeline. There is not much incentive to have it placed on Suno (not to mention how someone can take your daughter voice and use them in their own songs which...may not be appropriate).

Basically, if doing this method, you are much better off uploading the music (or music video) to other sites like YouTube or getting it distributed. At least you can monetize this way (so long as the song was generated during a subscription period)

You might be able to.
After extracting stems.. they will be in your Worspace (but hidden by default by filter)
Once you see them there, maybe you could click 3 dots and load it in the Editor again and edit just the vocal stem.

You record you sing, or hum a tune, then upload that to Suno.
Then use Cover or Extend feature to make songs using that to influent the vocal and it will be as close as your voice.
Few things to keep in mind: you will NOT be able to create Persona from it and you will NOT be able to publish your song to public on Suno website.

What model are you using? meta tags are more successful when they are more simple. Using a tag [Chorus - Both] Suno would normally want to have them sing together and not swap lines. Theres a bunch of different ways to get Suno to do duets, and I think theres some guides for that in Workflows if I remember correctly.

mine is rather technical, I think what is happening is that the sliders for 'style' still take from the OG if mistake there it transposes it to the new, can't absolute it, but confidence is "high" that output is bounced against regarded sources and confirmed in suno ai as appropriate. To me this looks like the website isn't defining what kind of file to upload / is defining the wrong kind of file, or Android isn't picking that up properly.

When viewing your greyed out folder, you might click through hamburger menu on the page to scroll down for other apps to view the same download folder - which may make the mp3 available. That was my video.

Finding the one that works and use that for future uploads. But setting it as default would be less taxing in the future.

When I had a problem, I originally chose Google Drive which had mp3 on the cloud, so I had to down first to my phone then I used another file viewer to choose the mp3.

So, the original assumption that Suno was blocking mp3's is not what is happening. Its just the files viewer used is likely not compatible to recognize the right files and Greys out the folder. Try to ideas we've suggested and I hope its able to work for you.

First avoid "keep hitting" generate. With the 4.5 still new and being tested there's lots of lag time for just about everything. Once clicking once, try to find the file. Check Library refresh the page, go to workplaces and click off of anything listed in filters, whatever you can think of doing.

Watch carefully at your bottom screen as the error notices are now dark, smaller and harder to see from the pink popups we were used to. We might miss seeing an error notice.

At that point, if credits were debited, its your choice to contact Billing to show your documentation and/or just talk it out and get the credit back.

Typically that's a general message when we try to make a persona from an uploaded audio file that has any recognized vocals. Maybe that's a similar case for you.

We can make a cover of any upload audio/ original song and it can come out pretty nice, but then we still can't make a persona out of that -- no output which , in the chain , had an original upload that contained recognized vocals.

Some people found out that the Suno "wav" files corresponds actually to a 128 kbit mp3 file.
I checked this myself now for 3 different wav files and it is true.
We can see in the picture here the low pass filter at 16 khz typically used for 128 kbit mp3.
I chose a song which does not sound good at all.
But If I record the same song with the loopback in the audio device (MOTU M2, a good audio interface), it is a different kind of audio!
The low pass filter is at 20 khz. This corresponds to a 320 kbit mp3 or a wav file.
I will put the picture of the loopback recording of the same song in the next posting.
Anybody who knows more about this? I don't think this is only noise from my Motu device.
update: I did the loopback recording test also with another browser and DAW, it is the same.
In the second test it was clearly a wav file with 22 khz.

Interesting point about the 16 KHz cutoff, though the MP3 bitrate also determines how much of the clarity is lost at lower frequencies.

If you download the WAV and MP3, put both into Audacity on separate tracks, then invert one of them, what should happen if these are the same is that you won't hear anything (the signals will cancel each other out.) I tried this just now with a random song of mine and it's not silent, so there's still additional detail in the WAV that isn't present in the MP3, even if the WAV seems to have a cutoff at 16KHz.

That is strange. The opposite of what I would expect. If I do a loopback recording the spectrum plot for me also has the same cutoff, but this is doing an internal/software loopback.

The MP3 you listen to on the website is the same one you download. I just double-checked that this hasn't changed. So this is either some post-processing your browser or audio driver is doing.

Yeah that seems really odd. I did see a couple of comments in the past about the sound quality being worse but only through the browser. I'd try a different browser (if it's Chrome or something Chromium-based, try Firefox, or the other way around) to see if they sound different, if you want to try to examine that possibility.

I've been using Suno for quite a while now and have always had an issue when replacing sections or simply just single words in songs. Same structure or even syllables, but quite often when I choose the cover option to keep the same tempo/style/melody it will jumble up the replaced word with gibberish or even attempt to use the previous word. I've come across this before and this is how I fixed my issue. Suno can be buggy and the idea is to make it realise that extend is not being chosen. Keep trying different things, even the 'styles and lyrics' function. (Perhaps see if the issue replicates with other creations as well)

In the old "replace section" feature you used to be able to select "instrumental" so you could replace a section with just music, no lyrics. The new editor doesn't seem to be able to do this and it insists on putting lyrics into what I want to be an instrumental section. It is wasting a lot of credits. I had replaced an instrumental section few days ago using the new editor. I did the same way as I always did with the old one.
Select the section, type in the New Lyric box [Melodic Instrumental] and hit replace... it never fails me so far.

1. I make hard rock songs, and I have been noticing faint static/crackle sounds. I'm not sure if it's because of distortion and/or when a combo of instruments are being played, but there is a discernible static/crackle sound. I don't hear it during quiet parts with no music, so I think it's instrument related.

2. The other thing I notice is that the sound of the music changes from the beginning to the end song. The beginning of the song usually sounds incredible, but by the second half, instruments like the guitars tend to sound muffled, muddied, and the energy drifts away.

This has been a common bug-like occurence since 4.5 was introduced, my not knowing if any correlation.

You could try one generation of extending off of one of your short extensions. That has helped break up the pattern and get a Part 3 anywhere from :30 to 3:00. Keeping in mind if none of the 2 second Part 2s have any noise, to extend from the end of 2 seconds might get the same.

So the alternative is to then Get Whole Song first, THEN either extend from the end or extend a new Part 2 from further back in the new Full song.

Its all testing, until this anomaly can be sorted out.

When I download an mp3 of older songs made with V4.0 it is a 192 kbit mp3. The spectrum of the recorded file in browser corresponds to this 192 kbit (it has a cutoff at around 18,5 khz)
But if I download an mp3 made lately with V4.5 it has a variable bit rate of 160-320 kbit. But the spectrum shows rather a 128 kbit mp3.
And if I record the sound from the browser in a 4.5 Version made song, it shows a wav file spectrum. Which is strange.
You can also install an extention in the browser so you record directly from Suno and see whether there is a audio difference to the downloaded wav.

Only that Furrybeans tells he gets a different results than me, which makes this even odder.

what I noticed though is that Suno stores the (compressed) audio of the songs, so the generated song stays on the server as it was generated initially (128 kbit, 192 kbit and lately as variable bitrate 160-320. I cannot tell wether mp3 or m4a. M4a would be a bit better at same bitrate). This is also why there is an audio influence slider when you want to cover a song. Cause it takes the internal audio file from the server.

The MP3 and wav get uploaded to the CDN, which is what gets streamed and downloaded. The raw data used by the AI models aren't on the CDN (have seen very rare bugs before where these don't match.) I wonder if maybe a different format is being streamed in some cases.

Do not like this new editor, it is not so easy to use, with my arthritic hands for one,
But main issue, when trying to extend from a select point, every replacement either didn't match the start (wrong voice/style/speed) or worse it will suddenly slow down the tune, then a burst of sudden speeding up. You can't adjust the BPM, because one part of the whole extension will be under 80BPM, then speeds up to 140BPM for example. It also selected a piece, when I selected re-extend, to get another version, so had to delete the unwanted extension, then re-add the lyrics again and ask for another extention, but they too are mixed BPM, like someone switching an old record up and down the speeds. (what did I do wrong?)

scroll deep down in the right menu of the Izotope, there at the bottom you find the "spectrum". Load the file and click at different positions in the song.
It will show the spectrum of that audio point .. it will vary a bit but it clearly shows tha maximal frequencies

The audio spectrum of a V 4.5 wav file is smaller (18 khz, right) than the one of a recorded audio file from the browser (20 kHz, left).
On the other hand, the same analysis for a 4.0 wav file and browser recording shows the same spectrum (192 kbit mp3).
Maybe that is why some of you noticed that the songs sounds better when played in the browser than after downloading them.

I used 2 different browsers, 2 different DAWs, different songs, 2 different spectrum analysers. Same results.
Why would Suno do that if the results are correct ?
For exemple they could do this to impress people about the "gorgeous 4.5 model".
I don't know how they do it though.
Maybe this time they store a wav or a lossless compression format (like apple) instead of an mp3 but when you download they send you the mp3 ?
Or maybe they use some extra tools to change the frequencies at the high end (exciter, AI based, master tools etc). I don't know.

The most plausible one is "AI-Driven Bandwidth Extension" 🙂 even an exciter can do that.

I wish I knew how the model actually worked internally but none of that's known outside of the Suno developers. The stuff I'm aware of is just from observing things with certain songs that had issues. For the bug I mentioned, the MP3 that was downloadable sounded different to what would be in a song when it was extended and then joined together, so it was clear from that the downloadable file isn't what gets referenced. Also when you download a WAV, that seems to be rendered separately, and not from the MP3 so that's further indication that something other than the MP3 exists and is being used when doing things in Suno.

I wish I knew what caused the degradation. For me it's not as bad as it was e.g. a year ago. But that depends on song style. Metal is commonly reported as sounding bad.

Also as I've been experimenting, it seems like each song is built in segments, so my impression is that as each segment refers back to the previous ones certain frequencies might be getting emphasised more than others. But this is completely a guess and if any of the devs are reading this they're probably going "heh, no..." 😅

That last part is what I assumed as well, The way it seems to me is that It creates the initial seed segment and from there it generates forwards based on that previous segment/seed which would also in turn but when doing this its also constantly doubling up on whatever cancer is infecting the generations.
It's so weird man because when you're creating metal you basically have 1 of 4 qualities you're gonna get.
Decent beginning that turns into hollowed hell at the end
Underwater beginning that turns into hollowed hell
28kbps sounding generation that stays roughly the same the entire song
and if you're lucky a decent beginning that doesn't fall off completely.

The quality of v4.5 is getting worse and worse.
At the moment it's like this in almost every song: Chorus 1 is flawless and usually really great. Chorus 2 then already contains the first mistakes, chorus 3 only quiet, incomprehensible stammering.
The new editor is also useless, especially for Replace. Every replace is extremely faulty.
This was much better with the release of v4.5.

Me and D C have found out that the spectrum of the wav files is kind of genre dependent.
His house songs were all up to 20 khz while my songs where 17-18 khz. But there were no dance or house songs.
After analyzing some of my house and dance songs, they were also up to 20 khz (although they don't sound like it).
So if you do the same test, you should consider this genre dependent difference which makes everything even more strange 🙂

I'm very critical through bad experiences with Suno, I love music and I've a year subscription so there is no real reason for me to quit using it lol
