The Merchant payment services ( the guys who process card payments (Visa, Mastercard, Bank Debit cards [which would be the bank itself] for merchants - restaurants, food stores, online memberships, etc) are also the middle processorswho processes payments for Suno. One merchant servicer being Stripe, which Suno uses.

Their job is to review payment for adequate funds, suspicious fraud , multiple payment attemps.... the usual stuff. Often funds are "debited" electronically thus are pending review -- your account debited on paper but basically funds on hold - then either declined or run through and posted to the other side, in this case Suno.

When issues, It's then the consumers responsibility to contact their credit card company or bank and find out why.

That was the glory of having crop, because we had no other means of trimming off the end if it went too long. So extension and prompting [end], [finale] , etc. is the only option if thats all you have to work with.

The beat still exists for others to buy a license as well. So, then, you would not exclusively owned it to upload to Suno. In fact there have been lawsuits regarding using sample beats to find out that someone before us, using the same beat, has filed a copyright claim. So likely you're just limited from using it, right, and a DAW would be the saving grace, contingent to your taking that risk.

Sorry you haven't heard back from Support as of yet. I hear there is an extreme backlog again for a response. I assume, this is partly due to releasing new updates.

Requesting a response to your status is just driftwood in here as everyone in queue before you neither has that privilege as well. There is no ticket system to warrant that expectation - we only may send an email and wait. The initial auto-response is at least there to let us know we're in queue.

I hear 3 to 5 weeks is now the wait time, so it is just approaching 3 weeks. I hope you hear a response soon.

Hmm, to confirm, your line 2 of that prompt did not have male vocal right? Because the field cuts off from showing your second input line. You should post that in #🪲┃bugs-web if indeed it was not defined.

Regardless you are much better off using custom mode if you have specific style prompts you want to use as simple mode will create a song on the topic you provide.

In Custom Mode, you can check off instrumental for the lyrics field and provide the exact styles you want and it will generate based on your input with no changes

Hi! I'm experiencing an issue when generating a song. Everything goes well, but in the last few seconds, the lyrics I’ve written are not followed, and the song ends abruptly — sometimes 5, 6, or 7 seconds before it should.

I've tried re-generating it several times, but the problem keeps happening at the end. I've also contacted support by email a few days ago, but haven’t received a reply yet.

Has anyone else experienced this? Any suggestions to fix it? Thank you!

Make sure after your lyrics you put [Fade Out] [End] to help it a bit. Make sure you use 4.5 because 3.5 & 4 both will cut off abruptly if someone somewhere on earth sneezes.

I’ve tested it and it’s still the same. Interestingly, the issue happens with version 4.5 — in version 4.0 it extends just fine. But I want to extend it using version 4.5.

If you're extending off the very end of the song, try nudging the time step back a few seconds and re-include any lyrics lost from moving the time step back

I did what you suggested and I got the same result. I rolled back up to 20 seconds of the song, and I still don’t know why it gives me this error. As I mentioned before, the issue only happens in version 4.5 — in 4.0 it works fine.

Extending in 4.5 is not like extending in older models, you must give Suno something to work with. If you just select a part near the end and hit extend, you get 2-6 seconds of nothing. you need to add lyrics, or instrumentation tags and then an outro and or Fade/End.

I suggest placing the extend start point in the middle of the last verse/chorus, deleting the entirety of the lyrics box, enter in the lyrics from the point you are extending, and then the additional tags/lyrics and then an outro and a fade

Also, Support is at a 3+week backlog, and emailing support for things like failed extends in 4.5 only clogs up their queue and they wont be able to really "fix" that for you.

One last note, 4.5 is still in Beta, there are lots of issues that have already been reported, if you are having difficulty with 4.5 use the feedback form in user-research-feedback channel

But they DO respond eventually; as Ginger (Sunnie) stated, they have a huge backlog, especially with 4.5 launching nearly a month ago

This does occur in older models (at least 3.5), but less frequently. They usually seem to produce the brief 2-6 seconds of the song ending, and then hallucinate the remaining time to fill the 2 minutes, which is worse because it guarantees your credits are burned

Unfortunately, Suno and its support team are both small, so it takes time to reply back. As far as I know, support only works during business hours (Eastern USA time), so keep that in mind.

Several users reported to us that the response from billing will took a few business days. As you emailed after their business hours, I suspect you should get a reply by Tuesday at the latest, assuming that billing's backlog is not that big.

As for the Support team, they get a LOT more inquiries than billing so they have a massive backlog at the moment. Billing is faster because there is not much variation with the financial issue brought up and typically would have less inquiries made.

Do not send non-financial related matter to billing though, it would get redirected to support but you will likely be placed at the end of the queue, meaning you had delayed yourself by a few days.
Well, not you you, but a general reference. Your situation definitely falls under billing's purview.

Generally speaking the new 4.5 Sounds fantastic.. Kodos to the entire team on work really well done.
Creating and Extending the Music works really well..
Even extending and only just approximating the extension time, it works it out.
Just make sure that the Lyrics and pronunciation is perfect first go..
Which is a problem if you also make music in other languages

The Editing features CANNOT

1. Stitch any change into the original song without MASSIVE abrupt edges, causing Cracks, Pops and Rhythm ISSUES, which are UN-Usable.
2. Every change ends up with different volume instruments and/or even muffled vocals, so NOTHING you do will actually work in the original song.
3. The Replace function also VERY often add a longer section/block into your music and replace some existing, even if you asked it to s
4. Replacing the Intro.. Very difficult.

Yes you can improve/work on an existing track. You can't actually change the original song (file) but you can do a number of things to take the essence of the original and improve it. You can create a cover of the original, or you can create a Persona of the original, or you can create a copy of a slice of the original and use the extend function, or you can take a slice of the original, download the . wav and then use the upload feature to gen a new/similar track. You can combine the above methods also i.e using the upload feature in combination with a persona. The important thing to note is this process is non-destructive. The only thing you can do destructive to a song is delete it, everything else creates a new file....👍

I would like REMASTERED to do the same thing as COVER. That is, restart the music from scratch in order to have the best possible quality (that of COVER), however, it should reconstruct the music as it was (dynamics etc.). An upgrade. Because currently, REMASTERED works very poorly. It's as if there's a heavy compressor. It's more interesting to go through COVER, however we lose the original music even if we use PERSONA, it's not the same. REMASTERED should really be a sound upgrade, of the same quality as COVER.

Hey folks, on Pro plan.

2 things (both regarding songs I wrote music and lyrics to and am trying to get better phrasing/music in Suno):

1-song created elsewhere Following (I believe) pre-4.5, I uploaded the first 2 min and found a breaking point right after first chorus (1:31), hit "Extend" in triple dots and see lyrics listed FROM that and think that is where I drop the new extension lyrics, but instead of "Create" I see "Remix" so no extension is created to the song. It just remixes the original 2 min

2-First NEW song I created with Suno. I changed phraseology and some lyrics (myslef) then input with instructions to Suno and hit "Create" and came up with two variations. Then tried again with more promts and got a version I love and close to what I had in mind! But, it left one word off in a chorus and another in the bridge.

Is there a way to take the whole song andtry to plug the missing words back in without creating a totally different song

If its missing, this usually indicates an output in the chain has an uploaded vocal or parameters are such that a persona is not allowed. So, its just not listed.

Create button shows ONLY on new creations. That's it.

All other tools (extend, reuse, cover, etc) are located under the Remix* Panel and has a Remix button.
(*It, Remix, is a generalization term that we are now messing or "mixing" with what already exists, not literally only a remix as would be defined in the music industry. )

1: Your expectation: If the Extend tab is highlighted in the Remix Panel and you've put in your timemark designation to extend from, then ANY anf ONLY the lyrics or tags you put in the lyrics box SHOULD attach only the previously outputed lyrics at that timemark. Usually, it confines the extension to just the posted lyrics and not repeat, but depending on different parameters such as being a very short song, it might repeat some lines or stanzas , throw in an interlude or even hallucinate. tip: Using the EDIT UI and clicking the Extend tab there is a more precise....well... at least more visual.... means of checking your extends and alignment of lyrics.

It seems from your details that you ✅ started with a blank lyric box and ✅ dropped your new lyrics that you wished to use in the extension, yet, you say, it then just repeated/extended with your original lyrics (approx 2 min worth). Thats an unknown and unexpected result.🤔 But to add that, if, and highly unlikely but possible if.....if you inadvertently were checking your work and had clicked extend ONCE more from the menu, it would re-post your original lyrics over your pasted new lyrics and you may not have caught the change -- clicked Remix button and the orig. lyrics get extended again. {Just to add, if you had clicked Cover or Reuse tabs and then back to Extend, it would have blanked out the lyric box again and easy to catch }

Just check the Part 2 Output's lyrics to see if the lyrics are showing up doubled-up as in Verse 1- Verse 2/ Verse 1 Verse 2.
If so, its more likely a user oversight someway somehow (and a confusing Suno interface 🥴 ).

I could swear I used the old 2 minute first first in chorus and when it started into the second verse, I just clipped it at one minute and 31 seconds before the second first it was showing lyrics for all that was in that original piece so what I should've done is deleted those lyrics and paste it and the extension to go from that point from the one minute and 31 second point. I'll try that when I get home thanks.

You may have done everything correctly. If it shows double lyrics in the Part 2 lyric box, though, then thats not a common result of Suno in the past -- BUUUTTTT, I'll add, I just looked yesterday at a song that I only made a cover from and throughout the song it had doubled the lines or verses every few lines or so -- very strange... but the output itself was normal and no issues. So, it could also be a new glitchy thing Suno did. May continue and we find it... or it never return... we hope.

Unless you get very lucky, such as your song being used in a meme, you will not get many views by chance. There are a LOT of artists and music out there, show/tell people why they should listen to your song!

I've typically "covered" a song and changed a few lyrics to get what I was looking for. However, doing this seems to now just kinda mumble the lyrics and they typically sound like a mumble of the original lyrics with some of the changed ones.

Is this a bug? How do you typically change lyrics?

I also tried the edit and replace section without much success at all - it seems to jump around and alter the sound of the lyrics dramatically when all I want is a change of wording. It also tends to do the above - mumble the original lyrics.

Why is steam separation so tricky to get it right since Suno can create entire songs out of nowhere in seconds? The instrumental steams always have vocals mixed with in, just lowered.

STEM separation is not easy, and nobody does it perfectly. Sunos separator is on the bottom end of quality. They are working on a new and better stem separator but we dont know when.

Also to note, Suno does not create each individual instrument, each song gets created with all sounds in line all in one go. there are no separate channels.

I do feel like though they do need to probably need to comb through the triggers for flagged words cause I have had it trigger for random things. I know there was a word when trying to use to describe something for a storm chasing piece, a 'supercell' - which apparently is a Japanese band (that I never knew existed till then), but the term is also used to describe a violent type of storm. The other I recently had was SATB which apparently is also a band name, which i never heard of, but that acronym is also short for - Soprano, Alto, Tenor, Bass; sometimes called a SATB harmony for short... and I could see if I said the SATB without the word harmony next to it or something, but I think it needs to be refined to remove possible band names that are also 'common' words or acronyms or terminology in general. Or at least take into context what other words near it are...

It seems like editing the displayed lyrics in the original does just that, edits what a person (or SUNO) might see when looking at the song details but does not alter the song itself.

Yes. Click Edit Lyrics, and change to your new version. Click save.

It's just a box to show the lyrics at that point after an output is made. Changing things doesn't affect the audio of your output of a song.

If you ever edit that original song though, keep in mind you make need to change the lyrics back to the old copy for some reason.

When we write human written songs, we are only influenced by all the songs we've heard. So we may be able to recognize if we subcontiously copied an old melody or phrase or groove. But if we use Sunos version, it can also lay down an old melody line that we personally wouldn't recognize. So we have to take a more deeper endeavor to make sure our Suno song is equally as unique as a human written one.

Suno's current model (like many generative AI audio models) might be generating the entire soundscape holistically. It's not necessarily "composing" by layering discrete, pre-defined instrument tracks in a way a human producer does in a DAW. 1. Holistic Generation: If the AI generates a "sound soup" where instrument identities are completely blurred at a fundamental level, pure separation is extremely difficult. The "internal tagging" idea is a way to counteract this.

2. Quality of Separation: Even guided separation isn't perfect. There will be bleed and artifacts, especially with dense arrangements or unusual instruments.

3. Audio-to-MIDI Imperfection: Converting rich, expressive audio (especially vocals or heavily effected instruments) to MIDI is lossy. MIDI captures notes and some expression, but not the full timbral character. Users would need to understand that the MIDI is a representation to drive other virtual instruments, not a perfect clone of Suno's sound.

4. Computational Cost: Each of these stages (especially advanced separation and transcription) adds computational overhead.

5. Defining "Instrument": What if the AI creates a novel sound that's "sort of like a guitar but also a synth pad"? How do you tag and separate that? The system would likely default to the closest known instrument categories.

QUESTION: could it be that the decrease in sound quality sometimes during the day has to do with high demand to the GPU farm, so in order to deliver the track in time Suno decrease the sound quality so it needs less vram memory? This way more songs could be created in the same time?

That honestly does not make sense programming wise* (quality being affected by the time of day, well other than RNG seed being based on the current epoch time). Less GPU available just means slower generation time*.

When the server is under a huge load, there is no change of models or anything like that, it is just slower generation times (and submission restrictions when there is long queue). This was told to me personally by a dev.

* NOTE:

• The exception I can think of is if a service programs to switch from between different AI model sizes if they have such models (e.g. goes from a large size with tons of parameters to a smaller sized model with much less params).
• Suno does not have such a system nor does it have alternative light models like that.
• In most cases, business would not switch like that because they know it is a bad idea that would cause a loss of subscribers when discovered. Instead they would shunt basic members to the low sized model while premium members with the higher sized model. Rather than switching between models when there is high usage, services would throttle/stop free/basic members to free up the memory usage.

As an example of the prompt issue, there was user once complaining about something similar (bad quality during a certain time during 4.0 days). Since then, they've.continued to make filtering adjustments, same as if "mastering" to remove this and that. As we use Suno it then has retrained on those outputs as well. Eventually , learning from itself and improving.

That was and still is the idea behind the thumbsdown trigger. If every user would click thumbsdown for even the slightest off thing they heard or just even disliked the output, then we would be at version 7 by now. 🙂

4. Changed password again → this time it worked!

So in my case, it was the second password change that finally fixed it.

It's trained on fully mixed songs - which there are many times more of, compared to songs that have stems available. So it only knows how sounds fit together based on how those sounds originally fit together in what it's "heard". Generating from each stem (if they had the training data) would probably be pretty expensive computationally as well.

Suno understand a lot, but they need to be simple, complicated meta tags or tags that are long are generally ignored or even treated as lyrics. Keep your tags simple. Additionally, not all tags are understood by every model, and in 4.5, tags frequently get completely ignored if the model things the genre you are generating should flow in a specific way. Certain tags also wont work in specific sections, or only work in specific sections.

This sounds like somethign happening on the Mobile site for your account

If you were on a desktop computer you could open the browser console and see what the actual error is and possibly why the refusal

Dang, the inpainting is still not fixed. Suno will easily be overtaken by Riff-usion soon if they can't get inpainting to work. The other service allows split second inpainting. You can inpaint as little as one word at a time if you want, with high accuracy. Not to mention they offer unlimited generations.

Right now with Suno if you don't get a perfect 1 shot generation there's no fixing it.

Right. Not directly my question, but yes. So what happens on the refresh date. On monthly , of course we get 50 again and 50 each day. But paid does not renew again for a year, but refreshes credits monthly. The credits tend to be automatic depending on subscription status.

It still renews monthly. So if you activated it on the 30th it will refresh on the 30th [or the last day of the month if it's a month with less than 30 days]

Cancelling the annual subscription won't stop it from renewing on that day until the full 12 months have passed
