For what it's worth, all other AI song generators create two outputs per creation, as well. So it's a standard.

I've done lots of testing with duet style generations and haven't found ever to have much control over which gender will pop in. In a 50/50 scenario, it's possible we think something is working when it happens three or four times in a row, but after 100 creates you'll find it averages out to just random combinations.

The best controls have been when adding genres which are predominantly found relevant to one gender or the other, for instance "barbershop" is nearly always male and k-pop is more often 60% female as two examples. Adding in genres such as those have more influence I've found, than just putting [male] or [female] as prompts.

...and it worked perfectly in [Verse 1]

Keep in mind, that a (gender 1) then (gender 2) then (both genders) is a common style with duets from any genre, so Suno uses that pattern often, with or without prompting.

Keep in mind, also, that are male tenor and a female contralto are likely going to sound quite similar with Suno, so to say [male] or [female] likely doesn't mean much to Suno, only that it will throw in voice ranges as found on average from the genres that you've prompted for.

It is almost impossible to change and control "actors" within a Verse. But ... hopefully as Suno develops.

Your best bet it seems is to run some songs and find good voices to make personas from. Then , if trying for a duet, use a persona, then try to alter it by adding extension per verse and changing the genres slightly to influence a different timbre of a female voice, for instance, or change the gender altogether. An arduous process as most go.

This works best with a hoard of credits that you can just click several outputs off and save the one that fits your intent, then move to the next extension.

Quite often, in this process, you just get different voices each round. So I'll often have three unintended vocalists.

Note: using Remaster might blend all vocals back to the initial vocal [or persona vocal], in its attempt to smooth things out. Making extensions per verse helps keep the vocals separate, rather than using initial metatags for prompting only.

Those are two different things, a fast tempo song, or a vocal who sings words in rapid succession. You want both? What your style you're going for ?

For instance rap might use a thumpy moderate beat for fast rapping. Or broadway might have an allegro fast stacatto pattern over a bouncy piano.

You can pinpoint a sound by trying "polyphonic glitch rap" to attempt a more syllabic separated sound. Let's see if it can get something. I'll just stick in a recipe inkyrics or somethings.

And in this case, you may be better to NOT post in paragraph form but do a single column style.

#stemming..... why is it suno can make a whole blended song from nothing, but it can't strip the vocals from the backing track for stems? every time I try there are crossover remnants and echoes. I just want the instrumental version. not the karaoke version. I'm just stumped how it can build but not disassemble. explanations are cool, but results are better. I'd even be persuaded to a higher tier if it meant real dissected individual stems with no crossover for remixing. as of right now, the breakup and stemming process is very similar to how i remember the old jvc x'eye's karaoke process. That's a Sega 32x Cd combo unit for anyone wondering. 1994. I'm really curious why it feels like that 30 year old karaoke tech instead of music mixing with real stems. I love this tech. It may be easier to separate, even by an old 90s karaoke machine, when one started with a separate audio (track) which was originally blended into another. Suno doesn't really blend anything. It designs an arrangement of which certain frequencies and noise becomes what we hear as the vocals and the rest instruments. If you do a Cover of the Instrumental stem, for instance, it will recognize the remaining vocal bleeds as instruments and convert to a more "instrumental " sound, so by doing that you get an instrumental with melody, often. Pretty nice actually.

So from that arranged layout, it chisels out the output from basicslly a block of noise, which eventually reveals the "statue" of whats left over - this sounding like a song with vocals and instruments to our ears. Based on training, it has to re-recognize what appears to be vocals (for instance, it often thinks a didgeridoo is a voice - and an autotuned voice it may think its an instrument) in the output to make that into a vocal stem, so it doesn't do as well a job. And likely not much as focused on improving that by Suno on that tool as much as other AI companies are at the moment.

To reduce the chances of shimmers and several noise artifacts, it helps if you specify a specific subgenre and use the standard name for those instead of your own description of that subgenre.

You could ask AIs about what genres/styles a music uses but you have to be very critical of their answers. AI can lie to you with confidence.

I wonder if anyone know of a solution to fixing the shimmer / sheen there is on the music/samples made with ai - more specifically Suno.
It seems there are several issues in play with the shimmer / sheen / digital noise.

I've been making extensive efforts with the software I have available, which is mostly free software, so capabilities are limited.
However, it seems that there is extensive frequency bleed from low to high frequencies, even down to individual notes where removing the shimmer / digital noise would cut away actual audio content. According to sources, the shimmer noise is mid to high frequency, thus it should not register at low frequencies, but it does on all of my tracks. The reason I know it's also on low frequency is tried setting a low pass filter all the way down at 150 Hz, and it was still audible. However, boosting trebles and reducing bass, clearly indicates it's a mid to high frequency. Hence why I say there is frequency bleed, because if was strictly on the mid to high frequency, then it should not be audible with a low pass filter at 150 Hz.

I'm open to experiment and collaborate on finding ways to identify, isolate, remove or just reduce it greatly.

Changing the lyrics, title, cover image, or your handle does not update the video until you use Regenerate Video (subscription feature) as it would be too costly to regen every time someone changes one of those properties.

Do not have a paid plan to regenerate the video? Make a music video using video editors like CapCut and so many more - or a website that can generate a simple music video (e.g. https://vizzy.io).
For AI singers/pictures, check out Kling, Hedra, Sora, and many more tools out there. Maybe use YouTube to check out AI music video reviews?

If you are talking about a regen video but Discord is showing the old video, it is because it has been cached. Try clearing yput cache and you should see the latest.

Err, you are aware you cannot distribute songs from the free plan right? You do not have ownership over those songs.
Suno grants you just a non-commercial license for personal use for songs generated on the free plan.
Suno grants you ownership (and a commercial license) only for songs you generated during a paid subscription. You can ask [e-mail] if they can grant you a commercial license for your old songs (be specific) when you aubscribe for the first time.

Distributors WILL very likely ask you for proof of ownership. The easiest way to prove this is to provide proof of your subscription period and the timestamp the song was generated.

Honestly, if you can spare the time, learning to make music videos can increase traffic if you make it appealing or colorful.

Though the paid plans are great for tools like crop, Remaster/v4 generations, and many others.

Though I do hear a lot about issues with Replace and Get Stems (which should really be called Vocal Split. Third parties who focus on this feature has better outputs, like UVR5, Bandlab.com, and RipX DAW Pro).

i do what you have mentioned. It never sings the new song, it just sings the old one. Have you tried using person and just changing few words in new lyrics and check? this is where I use it, as replace section is also very buggy.

I have even tried using only musical part of stem, but stems are not clean, they sometimes have overlapping voices.

I am using a foreign language and it keeps repeating the verse or it misses lines in the chorus if it does do the chorus…. I like how the second generation came out for the last line of the verse and I’m guessing I might have to redo it so that I can get both the last line of the verse and the chorus the way it should be sung but idk (the current version has a nice duet and I dont want to lose it). I don’t usually use languages outside of English but Suno is repeating lines that dont need to be repeated because there are a lot of vowels and its missing key consonants. Let me explain my process just to make sure I am well understood. I make my own arranges on my piano, adjust it on the MIDI, upload my own version from an existent song, then use the original lyrics building my own cover ( version ), then I mix it on Ableton ( unfortunately I don't have the steems ) then I create a whole song using this method. I have registered it in HFA and have got even the proper license for this process. I am just wondering where is the problem with it ( legally ) or if this is Suno's policy only.

Well.. I hope you are not from the Sudo's team, because if you are you are not well informed. Please look into HFA and Cover Songs. Covers are 100% legal as far as you get a mechanic license to distribute it.

The issue is of Suno's Terms of Service which are specific about what they do and do not allow the service to be used for.

To agree, AI often makes lots of use from the end rhyme scheme so presently most attempts at lyrics have that sing-song feel.

Granted, what i see often in Suno are poems, not lyrics, then put to song/music, which doesn't bear well for commercially viable songs, but are simply fun, perhaps cathartic to the writer and entertaining.

Interestingly, Suno ReMi changed things up and you can have fun as well as discover some nice "poetic" elements which also work well as lyrical elements. As wild as ReMi can get though, the meaning can come off a bit obscure and so much easier to use another AI program, spend as much time detailing your rhyme schemes , arrangement and structure and usually spend much time restating those points , but can come up with lyrics better fitted and less pedestrian.

Yes. I imagine this is the case. This is why my question was towards learning why this decision and if they think on changing it or creating a plan for covers as it is legal. I know there are ethical matters but it could be easily solved if they monitor custom arranges from which is a base for a real cover or add a reputation system associated with the user for allowing so.

Today they stricted even more the rules. And without a real reason as Covers aren't illegal. They are just creating barriers to something that could have been dealt with another way.

If you record your version of the song with your own arranges, you shouldn't be forbidden to use the lyrics as it makes from it a legal cover.

I have been working with covers professionally having mechanic license from artists to do so, and I am also frustrated with what they have been doing. If they are working with delivering Cover feature, then they shall do this correctly. I am upset and probably going to unsub as well, only thing to do it seems.

I basically record my own versions with my arranges and I was using Suno to add the whole piano version a full song with drums and with styles that I could mix into my DJ playlist as I am used to do. I am so serious at what I do that I even register this with HFA, so I have mechanical license from which I distribute the songs cross multi-platforms. So there is nothing incorrect with what I was doing. Since they decided to restrict even more the original lyrics to be applied to covers, then it is barely impossible to use original lyrics over your arranges modified by Suno.

You can distribute them, and use a mechanical license. I recommend you though to use a system that does give you the steems then you can master it with an app like Ableton. It isn't that hard to learn this as it is more technical than talent requiring. Then you remove noise, eliminate tracks that aren't ideal and you can even use new plugins available in the market where you don't need to play an instrument, where you can use the sounds of your mouth to create midi tracks then sample it with the instrument you want, then after a bit work you can make it our own then distribute it with LANDR. Despite being a better quality, it would be something that would cost you 30 minutes more and give to it your authenticity + make from it a better polished job.

Suno is unfortunately doing a diservice to themselves when focusing on creating barriers to those who are using the tool a bit more professionally instead of creating features like download the steems from the song then facilitate as a whole to have the tool being used for good. They are trying to be out of the market soon, as people are looking for alternatives as they are making it difficult to everyone that has been their users for a while and supporting the cause.

Hi everyone. So I play a few musical instruments, and I like picking around and coming up with ideas and then recording them to suno for the melodies. My question is, Why is it that I can import a sound from something like splice or make a beat in a daw and import it in, and the song usually retains the tempo of the imported audio, but when I sing or play something and record it, even when I'm confidently playing and following a clear beat, even tapping the beat out on my knees or a table, it never keeps the tempo? It always seems to do its own thing when I record audio. It takes melodies sometimes but not beats.

If your songs are truncated, try extending the songs a last time. If the song is truncated during the final instrumental, EXTEND from that section without any lyrics. Keep the style section and only add [End], [Fade], etc. on the [Outro] section.

If the song is truncated when singing a section with lyrics, EXTEND from that section only after removing the rest of the lyrics before that section…

You might need to do this a few times to find the best fit for you.

Extend even sometimes produces irregular results even in first generations. The key is to repeat the process until you find an extension you can use. This might involve rolling the dice a few times. This is the case in long or short extensions.

Sounds as if @main cairn is just talking about when using Sunos recorder. It does seem plausible to work better if recording in DAW, to make sure to remove as much ambient noise as well as quantize your human made tempo/beat first, then upload and see how that affects outcome.

I have purchased a Suno subscription for 10$, and I have been creating songs with specific lyrics (the same lyrics over and over, I am trying to perfect the pronunciation because it's really not pronouncing words properly, sometimes)

It appears that the length of my generated songs have been reduced from 4 minutes to 2:48 minutes, consistently.

It does not create the full song, based on the same lyrics that it did used to create a full song for. How can I fix this? I must have the Suno AI generate a song with the full lyrics provided, and not skip any lyrics.

I've also added an inter-connection inbetween verses (I am making a rap song, and the inter-connection is like 'yee ye ye, ohh yee' and stuff like that, but again, it skips some words in the inter-connection, and just skips to the next verse.

It's incredibly important for me that it's generating a song based on the input, and not ignoring anything, so I am here to ask how I can make that happen.

Generating four minute songs is usually lots of luck, patience and credits 🍀 To make short songs longer just experiment using the extend feature. The features are usually a hit or miss thing so they don’t always work out how you want them to. Just gotta keep trying until you’re satisfied with it.

Workspaces are just the same list as before of what you're recently working on, or rather, creating, so to save space, it's incorporated under the Create button.

Click Create, cancel the Create field to reveal the Main workspace list (folder, as it were) which was previous a short 20-output list, now basically everything actively working on thats not thumbs-downed or moved to trash.

Click back-arrow to get to the list of All Sub-workspaces (sub-folders) you've created.

No one button to go the sub-list first. No.

Suno does often create ONLY enough song length to use up the lyrics provided -- this a possible response to members remarking for months how Suno just kept going on and on until it reached 4 minutes.

My not seeing your lyrics, are they perhaps only taking up about half the lyrics page and so youll naturally get a short song? Or does it cut off before finishing all lyrics?

Before adding extensions:

In the past , if fewer lyrics, Suno would take any empty space and often " fill-in" until 4 minutes were full. It occassionally slips into that mode, but that's another story. Now it more follows the song length to the lyric length.

Spaces are a good tool to use, so try where your lyrics are not solid paragraphs of 10 lines, or several 8 metered stazas layered one on top. This will often just get Suno to speed up to squeeze things into it's arrangement. Experiment more with spaces.

Spaces also give tension or solice in a piece, but mechanically, also helps to " reset" the pace to help avoid shimmer and noise. (Shhhh, don't tell anyone the secret though).

You can try to balance lyrics out to stretch down the page to reach the bottom, and if not lyrics add metatags to keep influencing Suno to keep going.

If you have lyrics and don't mind a grunt or hum now and then, you can even add "hmm", "ooo" , "ahh", "woaa" or other. This often encourages Suno to add a break, pepper in a repeat verse, or elongate a section, i have found, and even start to babble to fill in the space. Maybe unwanted, but often near the end, so then you can start using extends if it gets bad.

I'm no professional, but I've had this happen to me before. Usually what fixes it for me, is changing the "extend from" time by a second or two maybe more. Although sometimes that might mean sacrificing whatever was in the second(s) that you removed or added.

I'm not sure if this fully solves the issue, but as a Cybertechnology engineering student, I think it's plausible that the shimmer artifact happens due to quantization error when embedding or encoding an assumed digital watermark (often referred to as shimmer). Thank you for taking the time to respond. My lyrics were cut off 4 verses before the end, and not at the 4 minute mark, but at the 2:48 minute mark, consistently, no matter how I changed the lyrics.

I thought it was something to do with a directive I added "[END]" and that it took that as a command to finish the song, but even with that removed it still happens.

I'm really unsure why it's happening, and I would love it to resume making a song with the entire lyrics, as it did up until today.

This is what Ive heard: A known result is Covers and Personas will (need to) utilize/ reserve a few seconds of a seed (previous generation) and that gets deducted from the total span time of the songs generated, so we see shortened songs, the shortness is reasoned, but that Suno cuts it's off from previous is a sign that it can't squeeze a previous long length into a short space. And, honestly, does make attempts fruitless, in some respects.

If this is NOT happening , i mean, if you arwe not trying to Cover or use a Persona, then it may point to something else. Even as small as slightly moving the time point when you're making an extension. It's can definitely be rocket science sometimes.

Hi, I am experiencing an issue when trying to delete certain songs from my “Trashed” folder. Every time I attempt to remove them, I receive the following error message:

“Clip could not be deleted. You may need to delete any associated personas.”

However, these songs are not associated with any personas at all. I have never assigned them to any personas, nor have I linked them in any way. Despite this, the system continues to prevent me from deleting them. I also noticed that other users on Reddit have reported the same issue, and it seems this problem has been ongoing for several days without a fix.

1. Workspaces: All of my songs are currently in the default Workspace. When I move a songs to other Workspaces, they all remain in my long Library list. I guess all workspaces are listed within the Library, but how do I view a specific Workspace? I don't see an option to view Workspaces like there is an option to view Playlists.
2. I have about 50 Playlists. When I navigate to "Playlists", I am only shown 25 Playlists, with no option to see the remaining unshown Playlists. How do I view the other Playlists? If I add a song to a Playlist (for example), that Playlist will then be displayed first in the list, and one of the Playlists will drop off the viewable Playlists
3. I sometimes have a large amount of songs in a single Playlist. For example, I had about 400 songs in a single Playlist. I removed about 330 of them, and there are 68 left. When I navigate to that Playlist, it does not display the remaining songs. There is the "working" symbol: the circle going around and around indicating that it is trying to load them. This happened on two different Playlists and I cannot access the remaining songs in the lists.

These last two problems have been persistent.

If its thinking it's catching something against TOS, it's hard to determine sometimes what. A phrase could trigger it. Certain words like die and death. Even alternate language words which don't translate well or just sound like another word.

It usually comes down to our going another direction or doing incremental tests on our lyrics, or prompts, to find the culprit, if any.

Certainly if you've changed up and tried 3 or 4 completely different lyrics, and prompts, then you should send an email off to support. Sounds like an issue, indeed.

Just from observation, it's difficult to find a pattern when seemingly a small percentage is having an issue. And "system error" is thought to be a more general error for wide variety of things from browser issues, to broken links and communication problems due to trying to access Suno from circumventing venues such as a VPN. So, I'd suspect some disappear as quickly as they show up. Not so many report back days later with an update, so it's hard to know.

So those that are 2-3 days continued-access-with-error issue, may require more user time to figure it out than support.

I've had server error before, but limited to about 10 minutes wait time or otherwise a complete server down situation that then everyone has at the same time.

Covers launched late summer and no issues seemingly at that time. They were used in 3.5 by many to construct Cover songs for the Timbaland contest, with no complaints that I recall. Personas came out in September The contest ended about Nov 15th and 4.0 coincidentally was released shortly thereafter.

December started showing a tendency to have a repetitive stopping points between 3 and 4 minutes, keeping in mind Covers are limited to 4 minutes. So there may have been changes at that point.

Seems to load 12~13 at a time when in mobile mode and 25 at a time for desktop mode.

Try scrolling down a bit more (to the bottom) to see if it invokes the loading function.

I would also try checking if it loads fine in incognito mode (which would indicate possible Add-on interference) or browser like Chrome/Firefox/Edge (to check if it is a browser related issue).

Regardless, I highly recommend making a post at #💡┃suggestions-web to advocate the playlist have its own search field and pagination with arrows & number like how the song section does

alot depends on your lyrics. extensions usually are around 2 mins. but you can make a longer then 2 min song.

you can extend from the middle of the song.. the extend for v4 will try to create you a 2 minute clip... some times you can extend multiple times in one song. I have many songs that are in between 2 and 5 mins.

I will say, I had a heck of a time scrolling through my personas yesterday with this big lag to load them up each flick of a finger on phone. It finally finished loading.

So, reading your convo, I checked now my playlist. Of a 142 song list, it paused occassionally about every 30 songs I guess to keep loading more, but when it got to exactly 139 (i counted and tested 3 times) it would just spin after 139 and not load more. That 3 song difference is suspect whether it's discounting a song or two. Just, saying, that it's not just one person issue.

But, then I remembered I don't like looking at my "Like" list as they aren't numbered, but here's the thing it does too. Of 2300 liked songs, I can scroll down maybe 300 hundred, but if i scroll more it will spin a bit, flash backwards about a third way through the list, then flash back again to a specific spot of songs and I have to start scrolling again. As if it won't let me scroll past a point and portals me back to a halfway point if I try, again and again. I've always had that issue, so I just use library "like" button and scroll page by page.

I say this just to say I have had issues in some way with at least one playlist stopping short and the LIKE list (in playlists) acting wonky. Add to it the persona lists loading extremely slowly yesterday.

It is a means of testing, for sure, but I never suggest it for as you say, it's annoying and can just make someone peeved at me for the suggestion. So I'm glad you did it on your own.

Free and a paid account compare isn't an even apples to apples compare, sadly. The IPs the same but the login email now different. Just going down a rabbit hole at this point. 🤔

PRO members get 5 click at one time to generate 10 outputs simultaneously. That's all. It's just a advert pop up to switch to a Pro account if you want to generate several at one time.

Otherwise , yea, on a free account you have wait for the 4 outputs (2 clicks) to finish first before clicking create for more.

That's odd. On a free account, there is no renewal date to lock you up for not paying, for instance. You should be free and clear to generate a couple of outputs with the free 50 creds.

Refresh your browser first to see if it suddenly has 12 attempts to create something load up. I've had that happen to me before. And frankly Suno been lagging something terrible the past week.

It may be generating your outputs in "buffer land" every time you are clicking and you don't see anything, but it's giving you the pop up indicating they are out there. Refreshing can often then help the outputs show up.

Alright, seems to be working now. I used the built-in lyric maker which is terrible but I needed it to test it out. Then I used GPT to write me a song and the community guidelines pop-up stopped me sadly. So I think it glitched or something. Ah well.

Nope, theft is theft. AI music is often targetted because it is much less likely noticed by the creator, odds are it is not distributed (so the pirate can upload it without flagging Content ID), and pure AI music generated inherently does not have copyright (for more info, see https://youtu.be/wy08U3gEU8w?t=16m36s, see 28:03 for the summary)

Regardless, file a copyright claim against them. Most likely than not, the pirate will drop your video. If they do not, you have proof and can easily prove it by editing your profile description to state "Official YouTube account: <YT handle>" https://support.google.com/youtube/answer/2807622?hl=en

It can take some time to get it resolved.

If you are planning to distribute music in the future, rule #1: never make your generation public. This does not mean just the public switch but also not sharing your song link! At least not until you publish it first.

You can include it in the style prompt. Some instruments may need an associative keyword for Suno to bring it out.
E.g.

• "Sitar" may give a plucked guitar thar sounds similar but not quite a sitar
• "Indian Sitar" (or similar like asian/pakistani/india/bangladesh/etc. Sitar) will associate Sitar from South Asian songs and pull out that instrument.
  I think Traditional Sitar may bring it out as well?

As far as I am aware, Suno was not trained to use gendered metatags explicitly.
It is implicitly learned so it's success rate is low (I usually had a 60% success and, half that time, the genders gets swapped).

It is often much cheaper to do the gendered parts in each Part (via Extensions) and change the style prompt as it appears to have more weight in changing the vocal gender.

Alternatively, using external tools to change the pitch/vocals (e.g. vocal swap, RVC models) of the song and use an audio editor like Audacity to select which gender plays is another option (much easier to get your desired results as you can control the type of voice you want sung).

You can contact support via email [e-mail] but they take about 48 hours during week days for a reply so it could be awhile since the waiting line is long. When it’s your turn they’ll reply to you.

An extend limits itself to being seeded by the previous extend to its beginning point, or if a full song is made , the extend is seeded from 2 minutes back of the full song. So you would do what's needed to make sure the motif is located in either one or the other limits.

Having said that, Suno seems to copy the melody of the previous chorus unto the next chorus, the previous verse onto the next verse, which, for most, is wanted. But a leitmotif might be random whether it picks up on it at all , firstly , and then how it would know where in the narative it's supposed to go. I just don't think there's a way for a metatag to "label" that any motif or melody should go in one certain place. This due to both the general way Suno arranges the first generation and second, the need to somewhat gatekeep melodies and lyrics from being able to easily combine at will, due to copyright issues.

If you really want to hear Suno do it's own thing, add "freestyle" or "free inprovisation" to your style prompts. It's great for a Billy Joel type song, or broadway musical, or a vampy folk song, so it can be more entertaining and sound more off cuff and natural. Definitely, no motif at that point, though. 🙂

I contacted support 5 days ago because my Pro subscription is not working properly. I received an initial response stating that due to high demand, responses may take longer—I understand that.

However, it has now been 5 days, and my issue is still not resolved:

My subscription has been charged, and it shows as active.
My credits have been added, but I still cannot access the V4 version.
Instead, I can only use version 3.5.
I cannot purchase another subscription because the system tells me I already have one.
I am not getting the benefits of my Pro subscription, even though I have paid for it.
Since my subscription is already running and I am losing the time I paid for, I urgently need assistance. I am also still waiting for a response via email.

If you've received a receipt in your email from Suno 5 days ago for your purchase and still not able to use the APP , but can log in and , i guess, just listen to songs you've made in the past, then that receipt should indicate you have access.

At this point it truly sounds like something hasn't been toggled on. I don't know the next step as to how a payment is posted and a "switch" is flipped on and we have access. That certainly is Billing.

This is also a scenario that I've seen: A member has RENEWING Pro account that he had not used in a few months. He never canceled so it didn't die on the vine at renewal date and go to a Basic account, it kept "renewing" and billing him each month, however, he never had a viable charge/bank account, so luckily not debited any money... this kept his subscription in limbo, showed 2500 renewing each month but no access.

His Billing account said he was billed now a total of 8 months or 80 dollars. He wanted to start again, but had he paid anything it would stay in limbo until the full 80 was paid.

Solution was to have staff cancel the account and start over for just $10.

I don't quite know, mate. That's a receipt that your Google Pay activity (it seems to call it subscription) debits your accounts online the 9th of each month. It may also be Suno renewal date. Your subscription info will say under your account.

You know better than me, but do you ALSO get each month a Suno receipt that says they received and posted a payment. Check your emails for [e-mail] or "Suno". Being only 3 days, it may actually post after midnight tonight.

Also to add: There are certain Google Pay issues that Suno no longer accepts some Google Pays. That I'm in the dark about.

Best I can say is let's give it to the morning and see if it posts and you get an additional email from Suno. But I'll ask, how have your transactions receipted in past months. Just one from Google and none from Suno?

@polar spade I somehow managed to solve the problem. I believe it was caused by the Android app, which uses Google Play's payment system. The money was deducted, but it apparently wasn't processed correctly. I then opened the website in my smartphone browser and had the option to pay via Google Pay instead of Google Play – and it worked. Well, I’ve now paid 10 euros in 'tuition fees,' but my V4 is working again.

The development team should probably check the billing system again – there seems to be a bug somewhere.

And thanks again for the tip about receiving an invoice from Suno. I hadn’t received it at first, but now I have. I only thought to check because you mentioned it – so thanks for that!

I've been dealing with this issue since 02/06/2025, and it seems to have started right after they introduced the ability to comment on songs. Before 02/07, covers and remasters worked perfectly for me—since then, they haven’t worked at all.

I’ve tried reaching out to support and on Discord, but still no response. I even burned through a bunch of credits testing different ways to fix it, but nothing worked.

Has anyone else run into this? Is there something I’m missing, or is this a bigger issue? Really hoping Suno support can step in and help.

created a new account to see if it would render a song for me which i couldn't do with google login since addition of comments. I was given 100 credits, I checked to see if it would work, which it did, and the credits went to 90 when I logged in today after trying my google login to see if it miraculously was working, it wasn't, still getting the error, system error popup message. I now have 50 credits, where have the 90 gone? that's 40 missing. I would prefer my original account to be working again

I found that whenever I chose to sing a cover song, it would be cut off. I just wanted to repeat the last verse twice at the end of the song.

Since this morning, strangely, the V4 version's sound quality has significantly deteriorated, and the music duration has also shortened.
I generated music using the same settings for genre and lyrics as the original music.

The one issue most students have are:

1. How to sign up using a student email to get a discount?
   • ALL sign-ups are done through one of the SSO authenticators: Apple/Discord/Google/Microsoft.
   • There are no means of signing into Suno with an email and password.
   • So, one must obtain an SSO account associating your student email address. If you have not one already with Apple/Google/or Microsoft, then Discord appears to be a simple sign up procedure.
   • Sign up to Suno then, using your SSO. If your school is not recognized , write to [e-mail] to have your school verified to get your discount.

Since the registration process for Suno is also complicated, I don’t assume they are using free accounts.

Off-topic: I don’t see anything wrong with using something like this if there’s no alternative. And in my opinion, the Suno service isn’t being "stolen" if the accounts are being paid for.

I find this very unlikely. Suno are pretty hot on accounts that try to use it in an API-like way. I see that you posted here a couple of months ago with issues that often occur as a result of Suno placing restrictions on an account that is using the service via an API.

Those API providers are probably just making new accounts each time they get restricted. Suno DO NOT allow API access. What you are using is not allowed by Suno.

Yes, we had tried to provide an API for ourselves (only for internal use and not for sale or anything like that). I also see nothing wrong with that.

By the way, I couldn’t find any prohibition in the Terms of Service that says we can’t do this. Which also makes sense, as you can’t prohibit the customer from using the product

No trimming as of yet. I've been asking for trimming instead of cropping, but as I see it, to trim, using a generative AI would essentially create two generated files which cannot be spliced together, as I would understand.

If this were available, we could also splice any songs together as a chain, or attach any cropped files together with another one. That would really be cool!

The only hacked I've done is use Replace, select the spot you want less of. Click off of "keep same song length" and hope, with a little manipulation of prompts in the lyrics box too, you eventually get segment samples that's less time than you have now. A bit much, but possible.

I don't know how happy you are with the front end, but you could experiment by cropping and saving the back end at the long instrumental, then use Replace and "replace" on the intro side, adding a new intro piece. Random segments can occur up to about 2:30 sometimes. It does work. So experiment , for fun, and see what you can get.
