Yes, there is a text area when you extend where you can type in the time in the song to Extend From. It is usually not good to Extend from the very end of the song, though it sounds like you may have been using Crop feature to avoid that. You can simply type in a time instead.

Trending towards synthesizers and EDM. Arpeggios. With many genres, the main genre dominates, so acid house isn't very acid, it's just house. Older genres often come out like more modern pop. Big choruses with reverb.

especially the part about older genres is so true. some of my most used negative tags are probably "modern" and "pop"

And on getting a Chorus later on if one missed the 2 minute window there is the workaround of using inpainting/replace to bring it into the later part step by step. So use replace "copy" chorus forward a minute or so until it's where it should be. "destroys" everything on its way of courses and youll have to redo everything in between the 2 chorus section again. But if you really really want to do it it's possible. If you know beforehand it's better to just make 2 choruses in the beginning and fill the space in between with replace from the get go

Both techniques allow to have parts repeated further apart than 2 minutes

Wow, yeah the first method might work, but you must really like the Chorus since to do that. A regular Extension can get as far as 4:00, since it's 2:00 in the past, and 2:00 in the future, as long you are willing to have the repeated chorus be at end of a single 2:00 Extension.

Hey guys, another question for you. I have this line, "Feelin’ like I’m in the U.F.C., fightin’ strong", but it skipped the 'C' in U.F.C. Would remastering or possibly covering it fix that? Or is a replace the only option? I've been trying to replace, but not liking how any of the segments sound (I've made like 20). Really wish we could do a 5 second replace 🙂

Yea giving Remaster a single try could be worth it. Simple things like this sometimes get corrected. Cover is a bit finicky because it really likes to keep using the old lyrics. It will also stop following the original song after 2:00 or something.
Replace would be the tool that is designed for this use case. But having to select at least 10 seconds and it's rather mixed results I would run the one Remaster before diving into replace

When you Replace, I recommend forcing the lyrics to realign again, even if you think you didn't change anything. So add a blank space and save it, so Suno says aligning lyrics. Then also reload the whole browser page. Just to double super check that everything is up to date.

Cover can work, the main problem will be it will often change the song, so you need it to fix lyrics and not change song. But also it can change song for the better.

As @heady scarab says, you would timely "downgrade" your membership to Basic Tier BEFORE your Pro subscription expires.

If not, and you let the renewal date happen without proper Pro Plan payment or funds, the plan goes in stasis (on hold) and waits until you make a payment. No Basic credits, no Basic subscription. It just holds you in Pro, with no credits, waiting for payment.

Otherwise, downgrading now just changes to Basic at time of renewal. You'll have until renewal date to use what Pro credits and privileges you have until then.

As always, don't rely on our words as reason to not check your subscription status. Click in profile: subscriptions and keep track of your tier status (and credits) as you make any changes. Which is "Active", which is not.

So I have wasted the past 2-300 tokens attempting to make use of Cover, Replace, stem, upload audio and other advanced features.... Cover does not allow replacing lyrics, so if you like the style, you're out of luck. Could be me looking for a feature that is not as I would have wanted. Replace does NOT, no matter how much I try, replace the selected section, rather it picks a random selection -- clearly a bug in at least. Stem does a half decent job splitting the vocals and instrumentals (with a faint ghost of vocals left over) -- but then what? You can't then reuse the set instrumental stem in any way. Upload simply creates a new song from the uploaded audio and nothing else, wtf?

Then there are the hallucinations of random gibberish appended to a song, and the never ending songs that just run out abruptly at 3:59 with no good spot to crop.

I think I'm back to simply rolling the dice with a zero/one-shot generation and hope I come up 7/11 every 5-10 generations...

Look forward to this being more deterministic/less random.

Hello, I’d like to get some arrangement ideas from Suno, but I fail every time. Basically, I upload one of my tracks (just piano and electronic drums) that includes a verse, bridge, and chorus, and then I use the "extend" feature to ask Suno to create a song, giving it style directions. The result is often musically good, but Suno never uses my entire track, only the last chords. It doesn’t matter if I set the "extend from" parameter to the end of my piece or 00:01, and it doesn’t matter what I write in the style or lyrics form. and the way around "muddy" is sometimes remaster. Sometimes extend ( though frankly extend seems to be the source of muddy " Sometimes its the point you extend from , try extending from earlier in the song before the harmonics are going off. ( I have also mastered in post production and fixed muddy music

Yogi< the other thing you can do is make a personna from the earlier version of the song before it got muddy and redo it. Its painful since it comes in 3 minute increments and Suno V4 is crappy at ending songs.

Yesterday I experienced something like this... I was doing Cover on a track and if I changed the Style or Genre, it generated a new track with no lyric even though it was provided. I retried several times then gave up.

Don't use Extend for that... try Replace Section tool... but be patient as this tool isn't perfect either; might need to spend some tokens to get what you want
Then after found the good replacement for the section, the stitch might not be perfect; it could be overlapped with another section. If it wasn't too bad, that can be fixed with Remaster, it'd smooth out the stitch.

You might have to sacrifice the parts after that section by redoing it: Extend from the point where you want to add an epic solo, then re generate the rest of the song.

Hello! I'd like to discuss the problem I'm currently experiencing.

Brief summary:

• Remastering lyricless (instrumental) tracks yields only 2–6 seconds of silence.
• Remastering tracks with lyrics either produces silence or a completely different song of 2 mins or less (ignoring the original melody and tempo, behaving more like standard “Generate” rather than preserving the source track’s structure).
• Cover feature completely ignores original tracks' melodies and follows only input lyrics (i.e., also behaves like standard “Generate”).

I use Chrome on Windows 11. I tried clearing cache and switching browsers, but it didn't help. One peculiar point is that for both of my accounts, Captcha requests were frequent right up until this issue started, but ever since it began, I haven’t received any Captcha requests at all.

If this is truly a “fake app” issue, I’ve heard that lyrics would be forcibly changed or a Suno watermark would appear on the cover art. I have occasionally seen the Suno watermark, but not the forcibly changed lyrics, and both Cover and Remaster still worked fine in those cases. However, I’ve also heard that generating tracks under two minutes (in Remaster or Cover) suggests a “fake app” issue, so I’ve already submitted the “Fake App” form for both of my accounts. Is there any further action I can take?

Once I did the math, and took about 30 random trending songs, over a period of time, all were ranging between about 2% and .05% likes to listens .

I was really saying, no song in Suno is really very popular. In the real world, a hit song would get about 4%-10% of the listening demographic to download it/like it/add to playlist.

All the top Suno song eventually just stay top from a momentum of being at the top and people clicking, but with only 1% liking. Most seem to level out in that range.

As long as you're using the same prompt and same model it should give similar results. But the way Suno generates, theres no fixed seed so you might not always get the desired results with the same prompts. I'd recommend trying worlds like angelic, ethereal, emotional, etc. If you are using the lyrics box you can also add those tags in brackets there

Unfortunstely, AI is a bit of an RNG to get what you want, but you can describe the mood you want and it is often good with that.

With new lyrics, as well, it may reinterpolate what the prompts should do in regards to style. Lyrics can act like a "tinting" over the prompts, so it sounds close to what you got before, but some slight changes.

You can try keep all prompts but slide the one that seem to not be prominent in the voice back or forward in the group to see what difference it makes without removing any prompts.

I'm from the minimalist school with Suno that any extraneous words (prepositions, conjunctions) is mostly ignored or worse, tends to negate the way Suno weighs prompts. So your having gotten a consistent voice is interesting as well with this prompts.

Keep in mind a comma ( ,) separates style concepts. So there is a difference between:

[Slow, bass, guitar] having a slow tempo, a bass guitar and a regular guitar and a [slow bass guitar] being a bass guitar played slowly, for instance.

Having said that. I would NOT know a solution that would predictably change it to get that sounds. Of course, if a Pro user (?) You can make a persona from an old song? And use that for future work as well.

As a free user, unfortunately you cannot do that. The closest you can get is trying to use similar stylistic keywords to mimic (or extend from a piece) in order to achieve a similar voice. But it involves a lot of randomness and likely not worth the credits you will need

Always try extending using v3.0. That often understand your end prompt better. You may get shorter, or even a 2 to 6 second end. Of course if 2 seconds it's both free and usable. You may not and get less than a minute, which may be usable too, or splice it in , find another good spot and try once more with 3.0. When done, cover or remaster to clean and blend.

I'm afraid this level of control is pretty far away and might become even more difficult over time as they focus more on the musical aspect of Suno, potentially leaving the spoken word and SFX stuff behind (just speculation on my part).

I've done some dark poetry with sound effects in v3.5, but I wasn't shooting for specific sounds (for the most part) - just creepy/scary sfx, inserted inline as tags like [*horror*], [*growl*], [*wind*], etc.

That can certainly help, but keep in mind that, if Suno is inclined to add Bass & Drums to a track, it can be difficult to exclude them. That particular prompt doesn't even need the exclusion - I just reused the prompt for a few test gens with the exclusion disabled and still got a solo guitar track with each gen.

I think it's best to avoid using excludes if you can - there's a chance that Suno could end up excluding more than you intended.

Hmm.. Its not that "smooth". What I'd like is to be able to upload your own voice, read a set list of paragraphs in order to train it perhaps and then be able to use it for your own purposes. I think that if you do a set list of paragraphs and have the user state that its their own voice, then a lot of license issues disappear.

A workaround that worked when I consulted ChatGPT to get some hints at what was going on was to have it reword it while keeping the meaning the same. Because Bible or not, translations can be under copyright still. So that's a factor. ChatGPT reworded it and I tried that out in a style I'd been playing with.

If it looks like a script rather than lyrics, Suno will be more likely to read it rather than sing.

Try reformatting the text to look more "lyric-like" - split the sentences up across lines, as if you were writing lyrics to a song.

If you use a short persona, not a whole song, it won't have that strong of a effect. 10 to 30 seconds might be good. Even shorter may work. Just something with a minimal voice, so there is not a lot of other things in it.

Extend seems to be broken for at least a week now. I`ve also spent way too many credits trying to extend songs only to get nothing but broken lyrics and poor quality vocals. This with and without personas, on both V3.5 and V4.

I have also noticed this but almost only with the extend feature. Part1 tracks without a persona usually give me 3:19 - 3:59 duration songs which are okay (except for the fact that the "Rock" and/or "metal" genres are way too overwhelming ATM in terms of instrumentals). Extending songs from a Part1 in that range usually ends up with the Part2 chosing the wrong lyrics time and time again. However, if extending from a Part2 in the 2m. range, then yes, I also get tons of noise and poor quality audio that is next to useless.

BTW, has anyone noticed that recently (and especially with V4), Suno is creating intros that are WAAAAAAAAAAAY too long? I mean yes, I usually use "[intro]" as part of my prompted lyrics but it seems way less balanced than say, Nov. 2024.

I don't work at suno... but i do manage an IT team... I'd be looking to either reproduce the fault or extract some kind of log/console details as the first step to diagnose and therefore fix. generally i'd ask the user to try another browser to see if the problem is localised to some kind of interaction there (noting opera is a slightly uncommon pick these days), potentially the console error logs have a more meaningful message and/or a javascript stack trace that could assist.

it's always possible a recent release has introduced an opera specific bug, or that there is an issue with a couple of records/songs that in some way triggers a bug.

It’s definitely a trial-and-error method, but what I usually do is add more metatags—like [Interlude], [Break], [Instrumental Section]—between lyrical sections. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn’t, but it’s worth trying.

Another approach is to generate a full instrumental track, then cut it at a certain point and extend it with a lyrical section. After the lyrics are done, you can cut again and extend with another instrumental section, and so on. It takes some trial and error, but it might work out after a few tries.

Disclaimer; V4 extensions have issues, so I would recommend V3.5 to extend, might get better results from that model.

As DylanDog said, using tags such as [Instrumental], [Break] and [Interlude] can help. You can be more specific with things like [Cello Interlude], [Banjo Breakdown], [Kazoo Solo], etc... Those will often cause Suno to take a little instrumental break.

Getting a full minute of an instrumental break can be a challenge, tho... at least without using extensions. You can add some "prompt noise" after those tags to (hopefully) extend the section a bit longer... Basically just text that Suno won't sing. Some people fill the space with gibberish symbols; I typically use slashes, like:

Covers are for changing the style, or the genre, of a song. It's not very good at changing ALL the lyrics at one time.

If you have only an instrumental, and use cover and add lyrics, you might get a new song with the new lyrics. You would need to start with an instrumental first though, then do a cover with new lyrics.

Covers DO change some words or phrases sometimes, but it's not much of a controllable moment.

But Second...
Covers are bad for simply repeating the same song, especially if you have not changed the style to anything different from the original style, you will just get the same song with a few enhancements. So, for now you are getting the same song because:

1- Cover songs will stay the same if you don't change the styles.
2- Covers songs usually do not completely change out one set of lyrics for another. Though there may be some small changes.

But this doesn't happen all the time. Sometimes the lyrics can be successfully changed.

But this usually takes 10 to 20 tries and consumes a lot of credits.

If this helps to nudge Cover to change the lyrics, then you can the do another Cover, with the new lyrics and re-use the original genre style you had to get back to the original sound and feel you wanted.

I'll experiment with this sometime to see if it helps, but from my experience, that might be a step in the right direction.

If it works sometimes, then it's more of how suno works and not about making more changes on our end, but occassionally, there is a hack to shorten the process. Use that leap-frog approach and try covering in a "simple" genre first (and add your changed lyrics, if you say it works sometimes) : my favourites being = a cappella, acoustic, opera, or sometimes deathmetal to almost kill the melody.... then cover back again using the first or original style prompts.

I've used [Guitar Hook] successfully to get a short phrase to repeat between sections. Doesn't always work, but it works often enough that I don't think it's just prompt noise.

You can use other instruments as well. If you have no guitar (or no idea what instrument is playing), you can do a generic [instrumental interlude] or [Catchy Instrumental melody/rhythm/etc.]

My opinion and observation: If there are spaces created by "losing" lyrics, it's likely the time between those lyrical parts are still buffered into the generation you are remastering. So Suno will still try to "blend" the lyrics together. But, well, there is too much space and so Suno throws babble in the middle. If you listen, I'll presume the babble still "blends" either or both from both sides where there are lyrics.

I'm saying this as this occurs in Replace Tool, frequently. I've made attempts to "shorten" the space or remove a stanza altogether. When we click off the toggle for "keep time same as original" then Suno can go random on the space it provides. Sometimes shorter, sometimes longer-- at which point it will trigger Suno to fill in with gibberish as I described unless you add tags to try to circumvent this.

Sometimes it helps to extend with the second or third line of a chorus or verse to keep the style similar. Not from a musical pause or anything like that. I always start from the middle of a verse or a chorus.

Yeah, good points (and I also have tried to do what you said, @warped furnace ). the problem is that I need to let the chorus finish in a female voice, then switch to male for several verses, then go back to the chorus. And I found that if I extend in the middle of that female chorus, it never gives me a male voice at all.

Once it passes the expiration date, your present, unchanged, subscription (which contains any extra credits) is locked or in limbo.

So, you are correct. You can NOT use your "extra credits" as well, because you don't have an active subscription to use them in.

For example: if you had canceled your Pro subscription BEFORE renewal date, you would automatically have dropped to BASIC level and at renewal date, got 50 Basic credits and your 270 extra. Total 320 credits as a Basic member.

The choice, as I understand now, is to pay the Due $10 Pro fee and you get another month at that level....or... you have to cancel your subscriptions totally and re-subscribe. This may mean you lose the 270 extra credits or , maybe they will ride with your account and be added, that I don't know.

I'm giving you an opinion, so it's only based on what others have happened in the past that Ive read.

Yea, so what you need to know is that suno can only repeat something that is in the part you are extending from and it has to less than 2min from the point you are extending from. If those 2 things are true it should be possible to do.. but sometimes suno is really stubborn

You can influence by having things like [Male], [Female], [Mr. Smith], [Jacky: intense female] (then [Jacky] afterwards), etc.

But it works like 50-60% of the time, and half that, Suno still swaps genders.

Alternatively, you can extend each gender part and have it defined in the styles or, more cheaper, use a vocal swapping program to change the gender and use an audio editor (like Audacity) to control which gender sings when. Easy for combined duets that way too

Beyond that, I won't comment on the tags of someone else's as it would reflect on critiquing or criticizing another menber without their request. Sorry. It is generally not suggested to post others works, regardless of the intent.

As for the issue. I've notices, for the most part, suno doesn't follow exactly the note and pitch of the original melody, and may change chord progressions within the highlight sections new output.

It does this, as you indicated, by re-creating , but as a better term, regenerating the section. It does have the capabilities of re-generating a very close copy, as we find happening in Covers. And I often generate several samples in Replace, of those, usually when replacing just a word, the results come close to the original.

I have also noticed, as an extreme example, I have tried "replacing" All the lyrics using replace. At that point, Suno has no references to re-emulate the original melody and progression an d well, it just wings it and creates a new song altogether.

So the answer becomes less is more. Replacing 1) a word, one word, while 2) selecting an area of more than about 13 seconds, and 3) finding good starting and ending points of a phrase, gets the optimal response of getting a segment samples of results which follow the original melody , progressions, sound.

As you start to try replacing a full stanza of about 4 lines of about 30 words, the odds are higher that it will start to become more generative and interpolate what it can to fit new lyrics within the same exact area as before. I assume every letter of text is reassessed for space and compatibility within the given area, adding its trying to equally maintaining the melody, temp and progression. I end up clicking more , as when normally generating an output, and then choosing which I like best. Some may be similar, some way off, and some I end up liking better.

Depending on space issues, the larger sample yiu start with the more it will stray from the original, of course, based on that idea. So, when using replace, it's understood it's best to do only words and at most only small selections at a time.

Again, since it's a generative action and not "cut and paste" type scenario as using a splice in a DAW, I'm not seeing a good means of 'fixing" it to emulate an exact copy of the original while replacing text withing that same selection.

Your lyrics were completely different. Using cover with all new lyrics will re-calculate and spit out a new generative song. In simple terms, has no reference to cling to a melody once the original lyrics are removed.

The more of the original lyrics remain then better it can follow the melody, but this is more for what the Replace tool is made.

Is there a solution? Maybe. What I and others have done is to split out the instrumental. Clean it up (with cover and remaster) to remove any artifacts or bleed overs of vocals. Then run a cover of just the instrumental while adding in the new lyrics. This can get interesting results, if not an exact copy of the melody.

Clearly, new lyrics will have intonation, letters, spacings, and so on which will naturally take the least resistance and generate a melody to flow best with the new words. However, the closer you are with new lyrics to the old, and closer you are with the metering to the old, the more likely you will get something similar.

Suno says in their announcement of covers, that covers can replace lyrics also, but it's a shot in the dark type of scenarios and more experimental than guaranteed. But try one or two and see what it does. If no results, my apologies for the waste of some credits.

I have not tested extensively, much with replacing lyrics (small sections) using covers, though I have done it in the past.

Your extension point may be hitting on a lower volume area ? Extend thinks the song is over? First check the ending sound and see if it already ends/ends abruptly/has any silent points at the end.

If so, it may be as simple as rolling back the timestamp of the extend point a couple of seconds. And try again.

Are you extending off an extension? Get Whole Song first then try extending.

no. what I did was remaster the original song then create a persona for it then with that persona I expand the lyrics of the original song and generate new ones. idk why it's not working and refunding my credits it used to work just fine.

Try: COPY all lyrics and your style prompts.. paste somewhere... notepad, email, anywhere..... for use later. You will be clearing the field.

Click CLEAR, first and clear your Create area, then

1. choose persona
2. check prompts for persona prompts to have loaded, or load your own
3. load back all/new/additional lyrics
4. click CREATE

Try that and let us know.

I'm not sure it's entirely accurate that things are random. Instead, there are heavy dependencies on where things are valid. For example, it's hard to get a female vocal in a genre that is "never" traditionally sung by women.

In other words: Creating these prompts requires a whole lot of trial and error. A good indicator if you're doing things correctly is to keep Style of Music empty and then see if the automatic image generation generates something themed according to your wishes regardless (though it's not the full story).

You have the same problem with AI image generation―of which there are also ways around it (typically putting things that are important in parantheses etc.).

In some way, if the output is something you like, it's not so much important how you got there, provided whatever you're doing is consistently giving you outputs you like.

Otherwise, we all can get in a confirmation bias, where if the output hits 30% of what we prompted for, and the rest randomly still works, then we're good to ignore what didn't work.

Most of my best works, according to me, are random results i didn't expect. Of what I do expect, it's a result of blends and balances which I try to find to work across all genres, so I know it's a Suno thing and not just per genre.

Using spaces properly, moving prompts to induce different weight values, altering the extension points, yadda yadda, things we all eventually teach each other.

I have done it multiple ways, and it does still occasionally mispronounce. Overall, the most effective way I've done this is this:

The tag has the IPA pronunciation of the word following it.

As I said, it isn't foolproof, but in my limited experience, it does help.

You can try just replacing the word with the IPA spelling as well if it is only one or two and you can remember to go back and fix them for display later. It's easier to find/remove them as a tag though.

And often, you'll get one gen that still mispronounces but the other is fixed - so sometimes it take a few to get all the words done.

Subscription credits and "active " status may show, but you can be locked/limbo until payment has posted. An Email receipt with the recent date should be your notice. Anywhere from immediate to what appears to be 3 bank days possible. *

Also check 1) that your initial payment has been debited from your bank or credit account.

• Delays often due to running payments through your country's bank system, fraud monitors, transfers through to Splice then to Sunos accounts and credit to your account, and include weekends, bank hours, time zones, and holidays -- the USA just had a bank-closed holiday Monday.

So far, in my year in Suno, I haven't found a solid force. But then you look for about 70% and yet, I'd keep getting about 40%...BUT.... at the same time chancing something else changes.

My best response is the shotgun or spectrum approach, using style prompts indicating theres two/three voices (accompaniments, ensemble, barbershop, opera, etc) , metatags driving each verse as needed, lyrics that call for two vocals... [so if your doing deathmetal lyrics, likely you won't succeed much], proper spacing to show perceived change up and anything else, heck throw in a artwork of a man and a woman. The latter might not affect this, but those previously mentioned has some influence.

How do you set the style of music?
I do it as follows: Music ambient, pop ballad, female vocal, woman voice, average tempo,emotional verse, romantic song

I wonder how others do it.

Unfortunately, if the training data field was music over the past 100 years, "emotional" and "romantic" will have a greater pull towards [female], so it's my opinion getting a male vocal on one of the stanzas alone on that would be harder. You can add [male vocal] at the end of your style prompts to see what help that does. Hopefully it does nothing until you also metatag for [male vocal] or tag of your choiceor before the stanza.

You might, perchance and for instance add "British New Wave" as that era contains a good balance of duets and male/female romantic songs. 1978- 1984 then onward saw a rise in both disco and New Wave bringing more open gender-equal styles from pop to punk. As AIDS was a worry starting around 1983, it brought focus towards the LBGTQ Community, but in the positive made it easier for groups to sing more emotional / romantic songs which didn't focus on gender. All that for style prompting in Suno? Yep, I think it helps.

For me, with lots of credits, I would add at the front, see how that influences, then move to middle, then end, while at the same time trying a variety of metatags to push for a male vocal as well.

Even if 1 out of 10 gets a result you like, that's not bad and you've got the song and move on.

On the contrary, I want it to have only female vocals, so I prescribe :

I tried to exclude under “Exclude Styles” and write : male vocals, male voice, male vocals, male vocals, male vocals, male vocals, male vocals, male vocals, duet - it doesn't work.

Male vocals are still there.

Just keep trying, the meta tag is guiding the AI but it will still do what it feel like... after several gens, you'd probably get what you're after.

Maybe Female vocals are rare base on genre? I'm not sure...as I've never made a song with female vocals... though I did get Female vocals few times during generations even though I have it on Excluded Styles

When i only want female vocals i dont have any problems, its only when i want to combine them and specify who sings what that seems to be impossible

A song for a man from his wife about love . Sometimes vocals are added from the 5th line of the first verse ( the verses have 2 quatrains each) or from the 2nd or 3rd verse.

You can try the prompts i used. I just shortened your prompts , taking away the extraneous that Suno likely ignores.

And don't just change the prompts and run another generation. Copy your lyrics.... then CLEAR your Create screen first [if not already timed out] then start new and paste lyrics and these prompts in.

With the assumption they worked first output for me. Lets see what happens.

I did a rap battle song before and yeah.. I kow what you meant... when I wanted a male rapper vs female rapper... it's quite a challenging.. sometimes.. it's switching voice in the middle of the song too.... .it's definitely frustrated when you want specific verse sung by specific voice

Oh. I noticed you put "male vocals" several times in exclude. It's my thought [ and the idiot i am, has a bearing to whether true or not] that, in general, that negates it. I can only assume it works similar to inclusions, and If I were to conspire, I'd think each male vocal is now weighted, rather than 1 at 100%, each has about 12% weight. So it [one] would struggle trying to get a hold and keeping the male vocal from occurring. The other 12%-equally weighted male vocals are also trying to be prominent and none have enough priority to work.

I've tried different combinations - total randomness.
It's like Suno decides for himself whether to introduce a male voice in some parts of the lyrics, based on the full context of the song. (For example, if you're writing about the army, he'll decide it should be sung in a male voice).

How did it work for your romantic song and the prompts. Or was the romantic song the one you say was random results.

Please I like the songs I am creating with Suno to use my voice.
I thought using persona will be helpful so I recorded my voice and uploaded it, unfortunately.
It's not displaying the option to add my recorded voice in the persona.

Here's one i just ran. Nothing but two styles. Mostly using metatags to nudge it. I'd call this random and lucky that it alternated so many times in 3 minutes. But it does happen often enough with enough tag influence.

I don't think that's how it works. Persona is used to save Suno vocal to use on new song if you choose to. But if you want to replace with your voice, then there's several options using kits.ai (or similar) or extract the instrumental stem and then record your voice over it

I played around Replay app before too... basically train your voice locally (with the app) , then use the same app to replace Suno vocal.

but I think if I had a good voice, I'd record instead 🙂

Now I'm recording with a different lyric - same tags as before, turned out without male vocals.

Most likely Suno decides that male vocals should be inserted by the context of the song or some parts of it.

Is it possible that as an edit option we can have a FADE option, where we can set a marker point and click fade out? I know that I can download the song, bring it into a DAW, and fade it that way (and I have) but then I can't post the finished product into the showcase. I have had a few songs that ran over 4 minutes and there was no graceful crop point to crop it at.

Workspaces - I have some stuff in trash I tried to move. When I do, I get a confirmation banner that the tracks were moved but they aren't in the workspace I designated. I deleted something I didn't want to delete and thought this would work to recover them from trash.
