I did a hard refresh and re-entered all my prompts (instead of re-using) and is seems to be working again. It only glitches if I try to re-use the same prompts more than 2-3 times.

it can depend... the AI behind it seems to assume that you are trying to end the song by default

so if you extend off a silence or a break, it assumes that you're done

especially if you're using instrumental or a clip with no lyrics

Swapping up thematic descriptors -- math-rock gives obnoxious guitar solos, so I usually pair it with stuff like methodical, deliberate, tired to try to balance that out

ska-math, ska, indie math-rock, etc all gave somewhat similar vibes

complex drumming in place of math-rock gave some interesting variations that I really enjoyed, and recently I've been trying to drop any mention of indie, math , rock, and just try to see what I can tweak out of ska that doesn't sound like a Capri Sun commercial

Suno has had problems with other websites accessing their API to generate songs w/o authorization. These sites pretend to be legit music AI services and trick their "customers" into thinking that the tracks are being rendered by that site and not Suno.

Suno's solution has been to replace the lyrics in those unauthorize generations with the advertisement that shows up in yours. Unfortunately, it seems like their solution is a bit buggy and affecting legit suno.com users.

If you were using suno.com/create or the authorized IOS app to generate the tracks, then you've been bitten by that bug and need to contact [e-mail]. If you're using any other IOS app, an Android app, or some other means to generate the tracks, you should switch over to Suno.com.

Lots of blending instruments- the layers of dizi, pipa and erhu. Im a big fan of erhu. Got two at home but cant play them.

So I had a feeling of the traditional Chinese style song that had nuances of some contemporary music as well.... You put alot of time in the lyrics too, to give it some subtle peotic expression which is embedded in most Chinese song --- to a little western imagery of the "dagger through the heart" and prompting for a psychedelic bass was a nice touch.

They were lovely. Thank you for giving a nod to me as well.

This is why I would like to be a V4 betatester. If I can't be, then it would be really good when V4 gets released like next week, that it would be the default model for paid users. @fathom siren That's a complicated question. Suno often does duets on things like romantic lyrics, lyrics with conversation in them, kids songs, opera, musicals and broadway pieces.

Also, for me it's best to use style prompt teasing these out like: opera , broadway and maybe Ensemble. Each of these might trigger an actual opera, broadway or chorus .... so it's a balance of having your wanted style prompts and sticking these nearer the end. But I've put opera at the beginning of my styles to try to help change vocals with no change to the style.

The third is you then should , or should try, adding metatags which can indicate your preferences and wants. So the old [female vocal] or [spoken][female]" what was that" to hopely get that change.

On one song I pulled out all the stops and it still seemed random, with only one out of about 12 tries, I got a female voice than a males. But when I did, something else was wrong in the song, so it becomes a balance. Yo might get the duet or multiple voices, but then the voice may not match with which lines you want sung.

But I'll say again, the lyrics ( or stylization of the song) really have an influence on how multiple voices can show up in the piece.

So if you're writing a viking shanty, it's going to be difficult. If writing a love song, maybe better.

[e-mail] is the direct source for a response (generally within 48 hours). But the members/users in hear often can sniff out an issue and help with some solutions. This is more a techniques type channel than technical resolution, but we like to help.

"REgenerate video" -- if you have made changes to the song image or displayed lyrics, using the "regenerate video" option will cause your downloaded video to reflect the new changes.

While Discord caches the original link, you can show the new video in discord by adding / to the end of the song link, or www before suno.com --these all point to the same page, but Discord views them as separate links for the purpose of caching new instances 💪

Otherwise, if you make changes using "Edit Lyrics" or update a new image, the "download video" option will still show the original.

https://suno.com/song/9a0b1c62-343d-480a-ac93-c8350aa75cbb this is an example of what @polar spade is talking about. I cued swaps like crazy in this song. It was one of my first Duet. So, this is an example of both getting it to swap but also how lyrics, style and structure influence it.
Notice all the effect (...), {...}. That is me basically saying, "Hey Suno, you see all my vocal tags? Throw those in here." The (....) likes to bring in that second vocal many times. So, I walk it on to a Duet. My full lyrics won't fit and would flood the channel. If you want my full instructed lyrics I have no problem getting them to you as an example of things to try, this song also went a little crazy on me because I cued it too much. Duets can get hectic unless you break it into parts. This one was one shot I believe.

You can upload up to 120 sec. Use that to extend the song. The more you have to get Suno to infer the better, If you want Suno to have more freedom then just give it the basic melody. However you need them all together if not the you will have to use any audio creation software to take the layers and combine them. BandLab, FL Studio, etc...

I think I hear 2 singers in there singing verses, but Suno didn't separate them as much to make them unique. That is why I cue the Vocals different instead of giving them names. Both ways work, but I have trouble with it swapping around my singers. When I use Sultry Female Vocals then Strong Female Vocals, the majority of the time I will get two different Vocals, even if it is the same person, because I walk it onto the Duet, it ends up overlapping the Vocals regardless and that give the 2 separate vocals even if in the same gender. Does that help?

The most direct way within Suno would be to create an extension point right before you want to affect a change and use style prompts to suggest a heavier bass tone

We don't have direct equalizer access in Suno -- you can try to suggest equalization settings as style prompts or metatags, but they're suggestions, not hardcoded commands that Suno is required to follow.

There's WAY simpler ways of directly editing it externally, like DanJ is suggesting -- if you're a paid user you can edit externally and upload 2minutes of content back into Suno (1m for free)

That can get difficult, when suno creates a song it is full audio. Track and Vocals. So you will always be regenerating something. Meaning a chance of changing its sound. That is where the decision comes in.

Ok. There is not a current tool on Suno to do that directly. That is why extending keeps popping up. As of now your best bet would be replace section. If your Vocals at that point are unique like we all tend to hunt. There can be many attempts necessary.

Mind you, that's a silly example I gave -- but think back to all of the times you generated an AMAZING intro, only for it to kinda flop later on -- this way you can keep ONLY the sections you like, and instead of trying to roll the song as a "one-shot generation", you can focus on rolling extensions, and only keeping the ones that you love just as much as the first clip -- at the end of the song, you're left with 100% sections that YOU picked and sifted through mountains to find.

I don't want to get high and mighty, but finishing a song that way feels SO much more satisfying than feeling like you pulled the slot machine and "got a winner"

Replace is a LOT better in v4, but admittedly I found myself getting frustrated with it because I wanted it to make a SMALL change while leaving everything the same -- it's crappy advice for me to give, but if you work extensions into your workflow & adopt a "piecemeal song production", you end up with stuff that you love, and the replace section feature isn't as immediately useful -- admittedly, I only use it to touch up my "one-shot generations"

It's not unheard of for accounts to appear blank temporarily, but all of your playlists are still there with all of the tracks you've shared, (presuming you've made nothing outright public, beyond the playlists)

I'm not sure it's anything on your end, but might just be a display issue on the system-side -- if it's not resolved within a couple hours, I'd advise contacting [e-mail] to see if there's anything they can shake loose 🙏

When asking GPT to create or enhance lyrics, I always get the same sentences structures and words, it sounds really unnatural

That is the tendency of AI. The more you use it the more patterns you will see. Your word redaction confused me. There are ways of having it go around it, but I have rarely seen AI produce the same instability that happens naturally by written lyrics.

But I know what you are looking for. The prompt for chatGPT would be: "do a web search for the most current AI clichés. Than adjust the lyrics." That will get rid of the most often used things. Eventually you will see other patterns not listed and you can tell it to remove those words as well, Call them cliche and get it to adjust to those as well.

Very unlikely. There are quite a few apps and websites that are just using Suno to generate the music, which is against the Terms of Service, so they should not be doing that. The only service that is allowed to do this is MS Copilot.

The songs themselves are likely to actually exist within Suno, but Remusic likely won't tell you that.

If you're familiar with browser debugging tools (F12) you can see what mp3 file Remusic plays, get the ID from that, and copy/paste it in place of a normal Suno song link... but it won't give you ownership of the song, just proves Suno made it.

That's peculiar -- if you're uploading a JPEG, PNG, WEBP, or BMP within 10mb you should be able to upload, the only known bug being that you sometimes need to adjust the resize slider.

You could try using a different browser swapping between a chromium-based browser or alternates like Firefox.

If the issue persists from there, you might need to contact [e-mail] to ask why that image is failing to upload.

For instance, you'd have an easier time getting harsh vocals like this if you're prompting for "black metal" with angry lyrics than you would prompting for a childrens song about tea time.

Depends, what can you sacrifice? If you have an emppty bit at the start, you can replace from said silence to atleast 10 more seconds into the song, then force it to create an intro.

Just like extends cut off and try to make a new part. Replace is more like chopping of an organ rather than a limb, now it's up to you to fool it into making what's missing. Through careful selection points you can get fastly different results.

For the most part I enjoy the improvements to Suno, but it is frustrating when the AI repeats Verses you did not ask for it to do, and it will not give you a clean ending to a song. Sometimes I try to get a clean ending by extending the track forom a point where I want the song to end and it will not. No matter how many extensions I waste points on, the AI contines to add vocals and instrumentation I did not ask for. This most of he time can not be fixed by cropping the song. Wish that would get fixed. It would be nice if the AI follows instructions.

You can remaster V2 and after. V1 you can't, but you can upload 2:00 of a V1 and try remastering the upload. Personas can be used in V4. Remaster sometimes just doesn't work well with a song, it worked pretty well with your song here, but sometimes it changes melody, or you get artifacts, or it changes a voice and removes the special unique sound. BUT sometimes it does just work, one click.

There is not much of an algorithm like that yet. There is a way to browse random new songs on the home page, so it is possible for people to see your song and like it. But the songs that trend are likely from Suno accounts that already have followers, so they get likes more often. However, when you Public a song, it becomes visible on your Suno profile. So if someone ever checks out your account in the future they also see and can find all your other public songs. For new accounts, they can post in suno-showcase, and get a little start.

Putting "Christmas "first in the style list has been pretty responsive for me as for getting bells and that bouncy beat. If it's a bouncy song, then any combo "Christmas pop" , "Christmas rock" . I guess you tried already without much success?

After checking, there are not as many as I thought. But still works sometimes. One recent song just has "pop christmas " as the style. And it's a bass, a fan brush beat on drums, and jingle bells throughout with backup singing la la la la... that I didn't type in lyrics.

I noticed they've made changes to the algorithm; now, when you extend a song, it precisely cuts off at two minutes, abruptly ending without completing the beat. Consequently, when I generate a song from an extend, it cuts off before the singer can finish.

To answer the question, the devs were made aware that you could create a persona from an audio upload, and that’s not something the devs wanted to include at the moment — speculative reasons might include them not wanting people to upload copyrighted material and be able to release “new Beatles music” or something.

V3.5 can only extend for a max of 2m, while initial generations are 4m.

Nothing has changed in that sense — sometimes Suno wraps the song up in the time allotted, sometimes it doesn’t.

I can confirm that previously, when I extended songs from existing tracks and uploaded my own instrumentals, I generated several versions without a strict two-minute cutoff. Now, however, when I click to extend a song and add my own lyrics, the output is invariably truncated to exactly two minutes. Previously, the generated songs would integrate the lyrics seamlessly with the beat, even extending beyond the two-minute limit. Now, any song extended with personal lyrics is automatically cut down to two minutes, making it impossible to create a full song.

It makes no difference whether I extend a song from 15 seconds, 30 seconds, or 59 seconds; when I add my own lyrics, the result is consistently restricted to two minutes. This wasn't the case several weeks ago, indicating changes have been made to the algorithm. Previously, with version 3.5, custom songs extended with custom lyrics could be generated into full songs without being abruptly cut off at the two-minute mark. This change in the algorithm's behavior suggests a significant modification from how version 3.5 operated just a few weeks ago.

Dude -- it's different when you're extending from an initial audio upload. Beyond that, EVERY v3.5 extend is capped at 2m. This doesn't prevent you from making a full song, you "get whole song" and continue working from them. This is how extensions work

The same that it's been since I joined. (v3.5 wasn't out when I joined, but the point rests)

Genuinely not sure what's limiting someone from making a full song, seeing as how I'm working on full-length album #2 -- not sure what change was being discussed, because using 2m extensions to build onto the ~4m originals is how we've been making songs for a while now.

If Suno detects vocals (even digeridoos can be mistaken, so it's just vocal-like tones), you can't set it to Public, but that only impacts whether the song can be seen on your profile or searched for on Suno.com. You can still MAKE the song, and you can still place it in public playlists or share the link with friends.

Technically, Bobby McFerrin wouldn't be able to make his vocal-related upload tracks public on the social media side of Suno, but he'd be free to share those clips on youtube or with friends directly 😄

Here is an example (sorry, I'm sure that all who have participated have heard this song a million times but is a good example).
Notice the vocals sound fairly clear at the beginning but then when it is combined with the music, it sounds like a background hiss is created.
I have some songs that sould pretty good minus this problem, and am unsure if it can be mastered out. Also, dividing vocal stems from music seems to need a little work. Feedback on this issue would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Any time you may hear someone saying "list" I would think, as a personal thought, that that would likely include some list, of course, but is more and by far a general term. Not just words, but when the parameters are open to Sunos judgment that something is "otherwise objectionable" , or exposes one to harm or liable, or restricts or inhibits one from enjoying the service, then that "list" is forever changing or maleable. This is boilerplate TOS on many apps and programs. So it's there for a business not having to be restricted to a list.

As for words or lists, it's quite often suggested to find an AI that can review substance and lyrics for objectionable content. I hear ChatGPT has be helpful in weeding out possible words or areas of concepts that could trigger issues.

But, again, my opinion only. Who knows. There might be a mass of cubicles on the 4th floor of a building somewhere who's monkey job it is to review all the lyrics against a list and press a button. 😁

Absolutely not useless, but it's not magic -- it can try to subtract from the prompt weights, but there's likely some interpretive overlap between what you're trying to exclude and 80s glam-metal, 80s, 80s-hard-rock, 80s metal

Also, v3.5 tends to drift toward more "generic" styles without effective use of prompting or without extending from a clip that already has a strong melody established -- still a powerful model, but v3 has a broader and more versatile range of styles it's able to create, as noted by the description in the model selection dropdown menu

V 3.5 is so bad. It constantly hallucinates and repeats stuff I don't want it to do, and I feel like after the V4 announcement (it truly feels like i've been waiting for a lifetime right now) the V3.5 quality has degraded significantly. The quality is honestly pretty trashy, and vocals sound so heavily auto tuned it's not pleasant to listen to. And of course, when I googled Suno V4 I found this stupid website that claims to use Suno V4, gives only 1 song credit for free, etc... And when I generated a song with it, it didn't use V4.

I’m experiencing an issue with the Cover Songs function. I used Replace Section to edit a section in my song, and the change was successfully applied. However, when I generate covers of this song, the edited section is not included. Instead, the section reverts to its original state, as if the edit was never made.
I’ve generated at least thirty covers, and in none of them was the edited section reflected. About ninety percent of the covers sound identical to the original song before the section was edited.

I tried this and it seemed to work okay. One thing I noticed is that the Replace feature is very likely to select the wrong verse, especially for repeated verses. So you end up with a Replaced song where the lyrics don't actually match what was sung in the song. Maybe listen to the song being covered and double check there isn't a missing verse or some other difference to what is actually sung in the Cover-After-Replace version.

At the moment, the best way to ensure a chord progression is to create a beat externally following the progression, then using the Audio Upload so you could extend from it -- if there's a strong enough musical context, Suno can hook onto it and continue that chord progression 🤘

It's not quite the same as vocal cloning, like ElevenLabs -- this just analyzes the clip & tries to continue any patterns it recognizes -- so if you sing a chorus, it'll be more likely to repeat that chorus in your voice -- it MAY keep the same vocal timbre for other content, but vocal cloning usually requires a separate, more intensive training session with a sizeable amount of training data -- this is more of an immediate process

Okay so I've noticed hard core that all of a sudden since around the teaser for V4 was released that all of a sudden the vocals in all my songs are starting to sound VERY synthetic and robotic. Lossless wav is a completely different thing from the option we currently have which is lossy wav.

I'm specifically suggesting/request a 96khz and 24-bit wav file option. That would provide a massive sound quality boost and make mastering way easier. I currently have to record from my pc to get better sound quality than the downloads which are lossy.

We've been seeing that error message coming up in place of "Content Blocked for Moderation" -- there's a chance that something being used in the lyrics or style prompts is blocking your generation.

It's 16 bit and 44khz. I want an option to directly download 24-bit and 96khz. It shouldn't be a super hard upgrade. It should be easy, but it would be massive. Without genuine lossless audio, it's not really professional output in my opinion. Record producers retain 96khz 24-bit files if not 192khz, tends to take up too much space, but it would be beneficial to have a 24-bit option and default to 96khz on the 24-bit option but with a choice to download the full 192khz. Technically 192khz and 24-bit is a lossless wav and anything else is lossy. At least 96khz/24-bit is considered HD audio. HD audio downloads would be a massive selling point. 44khz/16-bit is CD quality Wav. That's lossy. Not lossless. Technically. With all due respect.

When you play a song back in the app on windows, it's playing back in a higher quality than what the wav file is. I use the recorder on my pc to up the sound quality and probably capture genuine 24-bit that way, but it would be way more convenient to just have an HD wav download option. While retaining the CD quality option.

Thanks for the reply:) Yes, I think that was the issue, in the "Style of Music" I put reggaetón rauw alejandro style" and I think that's why it didn't work. But what's interesting, with some other artists it works, like "reggaetón bad bunny style" and it works. With the same lyrics

It's not the error message I'd immediately expect, but there's been a larger frequency of songs getting blocked by the automoderator with the error message "song got stuck while generating, no credits have been used" -- this typically means the song was blocked by the automoderator due to something in the lyrics or style prompt.

Are you receiving it for everything, or while you're trying to make a particular song?

For quite a long time, Suno only provided 192kbps MP3 as the sound quality is a limit of the AI model, so they said anything better wouldn't improve the sound much.

Eventually, they added the current WAV format as a download option. It's very unlikely that the model itself is capable of outputting higher resolution audio than what is currently offered, so Suno providing a higher resolution WAV file would probably sound the same as what they currently offer. It probably also is limited to the resolution of the audio they trained on, which is very likely CD quality material.

Of course the model is capable of HD Audio. Maybe someone from Suno should comment. I get a better sound quality by recording it off the website in 24-bit at 192khz or 96khz so obviously, it's not limited to CD quality by the model itself. It's limited arbitrarily because someone thinks 16-bit and 44khz is good enough. It's not. 24-bit/96khz option is a simple request unless someone from Suno at technical support says otherwise.

Suno is probably considering that most customers don't know what HD audio is and won't want huge file sizes

The devs don't often check the servers -- the social media devs have been posting in general-chat occasionally about v4, and the support lead has been increasingly active, but genuinely the only channels that get browsed regularly by the devs are the bugs & suggestion channels

24-bit audio technically IS overkill, but moving toward something like that would be a HUGE step in legitimizing Suno as a true modern instrument for the purposes of song production 💪

Overkill just in the sense that the new-to-casual crowd wouldn't notice, and likely have no idea why the .wav download is preferable over something compressed, but for audiophiles it would be an absolute gamechanger, you're right

Maybe it's because I'm aspergers autistic and I have a 15, 000 dollar audio equipment that can handle 192khz 24 bit playback and scientific studies showing ppl with autism can hear HD audio and I do. I go out of my way to only listen to HD audio and while it's a pain to record every suno track off the web app, id rather do that than sacrifice any audio quality.

About censorship I had a song about white supremacists that's very critical of racists, white supremacists, etc. I had to rearrange parts, sort of trick the system, but I got the song, it's really extremely derogatory. Same sort of thing writing about Jeffery Dahmer and Hitler etc. I don't like censorship. To do a song with lyrics about curb stomping a guy's skull in i had to go beyond suno and udio. But I got it done. I prefer if suno let me write "Curb Stomping" on the platform. Lol. Why censor so much more heavily than the music industry itself does.

I'm curious about this, as the website streams the same 192kbps MP3 as the download, which is also constrained (if I recall correctly) to 48khz and also loses the highest frequencies that are present in the WAV as a result.

I dunno. The quality of recording it off the sound direct sounds better. I don't know if it for sure limits to 192kbps I don't have a way to tell for 100% but the sound is louder, more detailed from the direct recordings vs the wav

If that is the case, I'd like them to just release the option for HD so I can be sure it's a quality version.

Either way, the tracks need to be mastered after downloading. They don't come pre-mastered

I've requested HD audio on the proper page guys. If they add this by V5 we'll have our minds blown. HD audio downloads are going to be necessary at some point to reach a "next level" of audio quality. Being able to know I'm listening to genuine 24-bit -192khz songs I wrote myself would be nice. Most people can't even play that back in full quality Lol

Sometimes you can get the cover feature to generate an isolated part (vocal, percussion, guitar has sometimes worked for me) by excessively prompting for the same kind of thing in different ways, it is not intended for that and is expensive to do but it does seem like this kind of thing would be possible to harness as a way to "generate" stems rather than split, if there's a way to consistently get it to behave in that way.

Duets are notoriously difficult to execute reliably -- many users have offered suggestions, some have created duet-based personas to make it easier for their subsequent generations, some create them through multiple extensions to prompt each vocalist differently, and some will swear their prompting method works (even if it doesn't work for everyone)

Personas seem to use a short clip of the song they're based on in order to gain context for the vocal style/instrumental -- if you've made a persona from a song where 2 vocalists are present, that persona may be more likely to induce further duets

I have used "duet" persona generated from female/male vocal song for many songs. It is working okay:ish.. At least 30% of time 🙂

Seems to help if order of the gender verses is same though.

I'm sure after generating a number of them, you start to intuitively understand what changes or attempts might be "too much" -- that feeling can be difficult to explain.

It might be an unpopular response, but I'd consider a 30% success rate for something as ubiquitously challenging as duets to be moderately successful -- obviously it would be nicer if it were 100%, but it's only a matter of time until we figure out how to best create these personas 💪

I'm hesitant to say "hopefully future models will be better able to recognize metatags like this" because I don't want people to think I'm dropping hints, but I genuinely hope that's something we see

Splitting individual lines between female/male (for example every line in chorus) has been biggest challenge for me, but hey, you get nice multi-vocal screaming usually 🙂

I've seen a gen that has three distinct vocal styles... one male, one female, and then what seems like 'filtered male'

anyway, here's the issue I seem to keep having with Replace Section: I'm attempting to replace two words in the 2nd line of the Bridge (with one, instead), without altering the melody much.

If I attempt to Recreate the entire Bridge, it gets altered, so this isn't useful to attempt.

When I try to go earlier, it fixes the line well enough, but then it will consistently jump back up to the end of that line, at the end of the next one. Either that, or it will just go on and keep doing lyrics long past the section I'm trying to replace, despite "Keep Section The Same Length" being ON

I notice that when I try to go earlier to replace, it winds up being from 1:5X - 2:0X, which crosses that 2-minute milestone
