my work flow is i full render the images, and just want to use AI to give it that little extra detail, extra, realism, and it works great for close up's but distance characters mess up. I've been making a metal album, and having clean vocals for mainly the chorus'. 5 songs deep and it's always been male for screams/cleans. A few gens into the 6th song it suddenly has switched to female vocals. No clue why. Not complaining, it's been a nice change of pace.

I find that it depends on the style you put in and the structure if the lyrics. Do if you have an intro with (xxxxxxxxxx) at the end it tends to cue another voice.

The one thing I tried to go for in this latest song was having 4 lines in the chorus go between cleans, and then a harsh vocal echo back the line. so I tried to clarify in the lyrics which was which, i.e. [Clean vocal] "1st line of chorus". [Harsh vocal] "of chorus!" and then I got a female lead. Again, no clue why. My only descriptor for the style is "metalcore" lol

Not really, no. It seemed to be confused about what to do. It seemed to do it correct sometimes but then words would get minced, and then the clean vocal would repeat the line again after the vocal echo. Figured more iterations, and nudging it's learning by liking the outcomes that at least come close to what I want will probably make it do the thing at some point or another lol

One thing I have been absolutely impressed with, at least for metal music, is just how well it understands call out lines before breakdowns. Now, I do wish the breakdowns would be CHONK-ier, but I'll take what I can get. Also, it will just randomly modulate the harsh vocals sometimes to really emphasize a word, when, for the most part, the harsh vocals can sound more "mono-tone"-y.

a lot seems to be how you write the song, you can have the perfect sound in one song with a set of tags, but that next song, can sound completely different because of how its written

There's a chance that something you're using as lyrics or style prompts is being blocked -- I've seen songs blocked for using nsync or lyrics that are also the names of famous songs -- could even be an issue with a persona, if you're using one.

Not really, we have some general entries at https://suno.wiki but the specifics are not there because it would take too much time to write all possibilities down and it can change model to model (e.g. some metatags from Chrip v1 and Bark do not work on the latest models but worked in v2. Conversely, there are some tags that persisted until this day).

Are any of you still getting the "A clip got stuck while generating" error? I've been getting this error for almost a week now and it's always with the same lyrics. It can't be vulgar words because on the one hand there is a different error message and on the other hand I have other lyrics with exactly the same "bad" words.
So there must be something that triggers the AI, which ultimately means that my song cannot be generated. I've tried shortening the lyrics bit by bit and generating the song, but somehow I can't figure out what the problem is. Even when I rewrite passages.

Having lyrics pass a moderation filter once doesn't mean that the first time wasn't a "false negative" that should have been flagged in the first place

If Suno recognizes it as vocals, it will be restricted. Same as using a digeridoo sometimes gets mistakenly flagged as vocals because it can sound like human vocalizations -- not a perfect system , for better AND worse

I just did a little more testing with this to narrow down the exact text that was causing that other user's "hello god, it's me" song renders to hang. It's actually just it's me again that causes the renders to hang. I just tried a track with no styles and nothing in the lyrics except "Looks like it's me again buying beer for everyone" and the renders are hung. Silliness.

Don't forget, this app is assuming those as young as 13 are viewing songs (with parental guidance, of course). So the bar for PG-13 and NSFW settings may be set a bit higher than a local bar where we'd do a cover song.

Typically, in past released, subscribers do get access to the latest model for a week or two before the model is released to the public.

This is because the up- and down-votes still matter during this last phase before rollout and often used for the last leg of training before the model is finally fully released (and locked).

Equipment is good so far.... the Korn song would be cool!... but.... there is a censor auto-moderator.. so it can, as SixStringToker say, or could be flagging your lyrics as copyrighted . And if it's Korn, yes, it likely would be.

Suno, has added more criteria for flagging these submission. The result is an "timeout", constant progress spinner, clip error, or a warning of some sort.

Yes. It helps to get a good idea of the past couple of weeks, but there can be red hearings, where the censor has limited something which is not so objective.

Everyone is trying g to self-test their own lyrics, say, like using chatgpt to run lyrics through to see if it finds any issues which may be objectionable.

It could be innocent and wholesome phrases,, for some reason, that gets pinged. Who knows.

an example of what should be a perfectly acceptable phrase, but one that Suno refuses to render is just "it's me again". Put that in anywhere in the lyrics and the generations will hang.

which, interestingly enough, comes back to Korn 😄

Test your own lyrics, but using prompts and running some random sentence, such as, "this is a test" can help see if in your prompts.... but you said you were using a Korn song? So I may have missed something... other than artists songs will mostly be flagged and you're not having exclusive rights to use.
