So, I'm getting the "System Error" when Trying to Generate anything. I noticed Another person had this issue. So I'm not alone here with this. Which is Not Good, But, Good(More statistics on the Bug is Good, Bug Big Bugs are bad..)? lol.

I tried a few things to fix it that were suggested:

A) I tried to Switch Versions back to V3 and then even V2, Nothing.. System Error's all the way...

B) I also Tried to Switch from Custom to Instrumental. That Had Some Odd Effects..

(I Left my "lyrics" in when Switching from custom to Instrumental.. It then Started to say that my "lyrics" were too "long" for the Instrumental??) Bug

{At least it wasn't Giving me a "System Error" rite?🫠 }

C) So, Then i switched back to custom, Deleted my lyrics in the custom mode. Then switched to the Instrumental mode Again, to try and get it just Generate SOMETHING in any version. And kept Getting System Error.

I plan to Send a Report to suno but i figured id ask around first, and see what other things "i can do", to try and solve this.. As its the Weekend.. Gunna Have to Wait either way..

So, Anyone got Any ideas to Solve this issue other then the Ones i've mentioned?

If you generate a song, and are a paid subscriber, you can then split out just the instrumental stem (karaoke music) , if that helps. Use that to sing to. Is that what you are thinking about?

Excellent. Then just generate a song with lyrics to get a melody set your lyrics.

Then click the menu ( ... ) and click create... then click Get Stems. It will split out a vocal stem and an instrumental. Then download the instrumental stem to get a decent background karaoke style music to sing to.

That's question to set up with YouTube, tiktok, etc. Others may have more knowledge. As a premium member, you have ownership of your songs, but streaming sites or social sites may require you to show some sort of proof of ownership. It's a messy thing. You don't get a license of ownership for each song put in your hands.

Ask again when others are available and someone may have more information.

exactly -- if I take your song (or you take my song) and Suno makes a song from it -- do we both own it? It becomes very messy to decide, so Suno asks everyone stay original.

Or a mobile phone to use a web browser? Alternatively, you could visit a friend to use their computer if they are able to use Suno without issue -- ask them to sign out temporarily and test similarly.

Naw, sadly. Just my Laptop. I'll try a friends later today. But im Using it Via the Browser App. Seems it started to Crash yesterday after i changed my Suno I.D. Tag a few times for suno and discord...
I quickly Changed back as i thought that was the issue...

Mostly it started during the time-frame i was switching names.

You'd need to check with the moderators to see if you'd be allowed to post it -- but bear in mind that if the content you're getting Suno to make is "objectionable in the eyes of Suno", they have the right to limit your access to the service. Not saying for certain that's the case, but it's not an impossibility if the content is "too spicy to share", and if you'd been generating a lot of related songs.

It looks like Zothmire and yourself have run the gamut of troubleshooting options, so it might just be a matter of waiting to hear back from [e-mail] if you'd contacted them already.

? If you are referring to those apps in the Google Playstore, those are third party apps (the biggest indicator is them avoiding using Suno's icon and company name so they don't get sued or banned easily)

These apps are not trustworthy. You maybe compromising the information given to them (e.g. your financial info) and These services often charges way more than official Suno does for less functionality.

Not to mention when These sites get shut down, you will lose everything if the account created was not directly linked to Suno.

Some of them are just redirectors.

The issue with embedding is whether or not the platform caches it -- Discord caches the embed, and I don't know for how long -- if a song is shared before the song has finished processing, you don't see the video & just see the 2 images instead.

A discord-specific trick is to add the / at the end of your song link, as Discord recognizes that as a unique link to cache, so you have a second chance at embedding the correct video -- just download the .mp4 to ensure that you've regenerated properly before sharing anywhere 🤘

For demonstration of how the / works in regards to Discord caching -- I shared the first video to discord before it had finished processing -- that's why you can't play the video directly.

I waited until the video finished processing, then shared the link again in discord with the / at the end, and it cached the song properly.

If you click regenerate and share immediately, it might not have finished regenerating -- the progress is shown in the Download section.

It's not in relation to any specific song; really any song, if you change lyrics at all, they are not honored in the result; I know it was mentioned in the update that the feature could be used for that purpose, but from my experience, it does not work with any sort of consistancy.

Not yet. I think it's too complicated to work out the duration of that perfect song that everyone wants within the time frame they want. There's no such thing as a perfect time limit for a song.

For instance, it already has a 2 minute limit for extensions, but it randomly either ends early, ends early then adds hallucinations or some nice variations, or just abruptly cuts off at 2 minutes. MANUALLY setting it to 1 minute , or any specific duration, won't change the way it outputs, at this time. The priority seems to be on maintaining a decent tempo and arrangement to sound like a song.

So we now have "crop" feature to save out the part we like.

You can't prompt for time, but if you want the lyrics to start after a particular amount of time you can just make a track that is instrumental (so dont put the lyrics in when you first generate it) and then make an extension where you want the lyrics to start (and put the lyrics in the extension)

Lookinag at the date the video was posted, 5 months ago sounds about right -- it's also back when "Explore" was just in Beta, and they've outright removed that from the front page now.

tbf, the new method is an improvement on it since it still generates random styles dynamically, but now you have a chance to pick which one you want instead of "rolling the dice".

You can still pick the first option regardless of the other options if you want an "I'm feeling lucky" mode.

1. You can rhyme in English like you did. Or if you speak Korean, try to rhyme in Korean. But using AI, such as chatgpt, you can ask it to specifically rhyme both English WITH Korean. So no matter the language per line, it will rhyme.

2. run the English through chatgpt and ask it to give you back in Korean translation, but limit to 7, 8 or 11 syllables but "maintain the intent and theme of the song" include other details you wish ,such as keeping the lyrics easy to sing for a 98 bpm tempo. When done, reverse translate to check for meaning.

3. Be diverse, as you did, and split both Korean and English phrases. Typically The chorus or hooks tend to be in English. But be able to understand the song, especially, from just the English phrases. If it doesn't make sense or have continuity from just the English lines, then just make the girls dance a little more.... lol... no, just change a phrase.

4. Keep the idea that this is sung by by native Korean women, if wishing to be authentic. If just streaming, it could seem a bit fake to sing so we'll. But if pitching to a group, they got to be able to learn these lines, sometimes just by sound. So, as Max Martin does, listen to the SOUND of the words, feel the pop and rhythm and don't focus always on a perfect phrase.

Presently most pop K-pop songs are including many American hip hop rap artists. They write short catchy lines so the translations is easy. But some lines are silly and strange. No matter. It's the poppy catchiness of it, and of course good choreography.

For this song: you got a great hook line: SUNNY SIDE UP!

Change your title . Find the spots to put that hook in more. And have SUNNY SIDE UP everywhere. Focus on the staccato groove of of the Ss and the UHHH in UP. The tone in Up will always go up, if Suno is compliant.

And your song is excellently written with the short examples of having a bad day. I always like "list" songs like that. This one is very good.

Yea, I use ChatGPT quite a bit, and work with it a lot, to not use too much perfect rhyming, I prefer slant rhyme, imperfect rhyme and vowel rhyming.

It's actually really useful tool for reference work, and it's rememebering my choices etc. I also use rhyme websites to find better suited wording, and find which words "sound good" and are popular in the genres, I do a lot when I make a track. All from writing it myself, translations, fixes, rhyme work etc.

And there's also the part with the "broken english" which is also quite "cute" too use. But I get what you mean, I just want to use these tracks now to establish a way for me to make live performance prompting.

1. Are you able to use a friend's device to log in?

2. The quick answer is to also line-down that word or phrase. Thats one way.

Putting a period, and I think comma, both should work.

I use hyphens or double dash between words to slow it down.

You can even extend a word slightly by the more you repeat letters in a word. But typically one additional letter is needed. More can be too much.

So: "youu" instead of you.

Most weird outputs are usually associated with something used for the input -- like dasvon said, extending from silence can make short extensions, but not making effective use of prompting can result in shorter songs as well -- just earlier I shared a song that didn't use style prompts & only included a couple words as lyrics -- both generations were under 10 seconds.

That's always possible. You're closer to 3000 than half.

As a testl to see if it changes anything...Wonder if you cover the one with the line spacings and markings , but remove half the lyrics from the edit lyrics windows of that you are covering? (Just make sure you copy all lyrics you wish to paste back in.

Then you'd run a brand new generation with half the lyrics , I'd say with those line spacings and marks, and compare.

I made a prompt experiment playlist for that a while ago showing the differences between trying to use "command prompting" vs just separating the words in a way that the natural language processing would understand.

I personally haven't seen any evidence that browser issues or cached data impacts the outputs you get from Suno -- sometimes they're literally that unpredictable, and using the same prompt can get you wildly different results between generations.

Maybe the guides/mods could pose the question to the devs to get an official comment on the matter?

In the comment just above yours, I talk about how Suno's output is most strongly determined by our input, but not always what we WANT it to use as the strongest influence.

The male vocals are likely being determined by a number of factors, and unfortunately there is no "perfect fix" that will guarantee male vocals in every scenario. Some experimentation will be required.

A small number of users have reported a similar error message, but unfortunately it's vaguely worded and doesn't give any immediate clues as to what could be causing it. 🤔

I've seen a myriad of things resolve it, from changing the selected model, clearing the cached data, trying a different browser (chromium (chrome, edge, brave, opera) vs non-chromium (safari, firefox) ) -- unfortunately there's very little to go on, especially without knowing what you've tried, how long the issue has persisted for, if it's consistent/intermittant, etc.

Best thing to do is to send an email to [e-mail] to get the process started while chatting with community helpers, or the guides/mods -- that way if it ends up being something outside of your control like an account issue, you already have the ball rolling.

Dear Suno Support Team,

I am writing to you because I am experiencing a persistent problem with the edit details function on multiple songs I have created using Suno. Specifically:

1. I cannot perform any action in the "Edit Details" menu.
2. I cannot change the names of the songs.
3. I cannot edit the lyrics.
4. I cannot modify the cover art image.

I have attempted to make these edits individually for each element (name, lyrics, cover art) on different songs, but I always receive the same error message:

This issue is significantly impacting my workflow. It's making it much more difficult to organize my songs by language, and it's taking considerably more time to search for specific tracks. Covers question: Out of each two cover generations, I get the same song as the original in one of them, most of the time. Is there an update on this bug? I kept reporting those songs, but maybe I overload bug reports that way.

No special tricks; I just use the same or similar prompt for vocalist and I'm willing to throw out a good generation if the voice is wrong. Although, with covers now that's less of an issue because I can take what I like and essentially redo it until I get a sound that fits within my aural parameters. It's not like I got a unique voice, though. I hear my "lead singer" pop up in other tracks people make from time to time. And it's kinda weird because I'm well past 60 songs for this band, so it's like she's cheating on the rest of the band. Then again, she's essentially me. And the rest of the band are also me. So, I'm not sure what that means but my therapist seems to have a theory.

So I just made an important discovery about covers. I was trying to get a male cover of a song with female vocals, changed the style and added every meta tag I could think of, suno would not do it and kept returning the same song with only slight changes. Then I added [Suno please make dramatic changes when covering this song.] and now it works two out of three times.

I can see too many characters being the issue, but why would it always skip the same verse? And why allow a character count that the system can't handle? The sound quality has been pretty much the same for months. WAV is slightly better than MP3 but the limitation is in the models so both sound similar. Music often sounds different between headphones and speakers, or even different headphones of different brands etc. I have some headphones that are really bassy and muddy, some that are higher quality but then Suno songs sound worse on them because of that.

Yes, you have to use wav, even my distributor tells me to use wav because it's a better format than mp3.

If it helps to give context, "System Error occurred" isn't one specific error, but a generic error message that can be presented for a number of reasons.

With the number of active users Suno has, it's not unlikely that you'll be able to track down SOMEBODY receiving a similar vaguely-worded error message simultaneous to you, but it's not a sign in and of itself of "an emerging issue".

I know it's frustrating to have sent a support request near the end of the week & need to wait for Business Hours to resume after the weekend, hopefully they'll make their way through the queue to your email soon enough 🤞

This only works on cellphone browsers instead of desktop browser for some reason, but you could use the Cover feature on a vocal stem and change the underlying music.

Alternatively, you could just extend from the vocal stem & Suno would use that as context for the extended content -- you might be able to use the new Crop or Replace Section features to remove the vocal-only part of the song and keep the extensions, inpainting a new intro for it as it suits you.

To change your image: select the song > ... > Edit Details > upload new image

(If you get a network error, your image may have exceeded the internal limit, which can be fixed by zooming in the picture a little bit when uploading)

What I noticed is that if someone on the free plan generated a song but did not change their picture, linking the song will give it a solid picture.

However, if that free plan member uploads a picture afterwards, even though they cannot regenerate the video, it does not matter. Something internally on Suno side will flag it to have the embed player.

It's using the audio you uploaded as context, but alliecat raises a good point that if you don't request "guitar", it's less likely to give you guitar.

I'm trying to turn it into a collaborative experience, because while you're near-guaranteed to find people who have run into similar challenges or who had related successes, you're not liable to find a "suno expert" who simply understands how to masterfully prompt everything -- even the devs learn as they go.

In this instance, you're asking for a very specific output, and in order to effectively help you coax that out of Suno, I personally believe that's a challenge tackled as a collaborative experiment, building on our successes and noting setbacks.

I don't however have an immediate suggestion that will satisfy everything without the need for any investigation into the matter.

in my experience with these AI music sites, audio input is much more useful than any written prompts you can provide. the point im trying to make is that when i input a guitar sound into a service like udio, it gives me a guitar sound exactly like the audio i provide. however, when i do this with suno, it seems to default to whatever their guitar models are trained on (aka some kind of weird midi guitar)

For straightforward sound effects, it's going to be REMARKABLY easier to add them afterward -- if you have a paid account, you can upload 120s back into suno so your song can "live on suno.com" still after you edit it externally.

I'm not sure which "contact us" button you're referring to, but there's lots of instances across the website where they've highlighted support emails to contact them through, such as the blue highlighted link to [e-mail] on the Account page.

They also have a "help" section listed on their website, where you might have stumbled across this article that gives helpful advice on how to look for help.

I don't know if Suno has turned 2 years old yet, so I'll assume that you've been here from the beginning, but I'm surprised in that case you're unfamiliar with the credit rollover. I just extended a song, it generated 1:59 min but the end of the newly generated part is cut of abruptly mid sentence.

My Credits are freshly filled up.

Extensions are limited to 2 minutes in v3.5. Basically it's half the max length of a part 1.

If it's not able to fit the lyrics into the time, this happens. If you extend again it should continue from where it left off (you can also adjust the "extend from" time to roughly where a line of lyrics starts and continue from there.)

Then the AI decided to sing the chorus one more time and got cut by the 4min mark.
I hoped if I extend, the "final" chorus would be finished and shortly after also the song itself.

It was quite sucky, but we got pretty lucky. My gazebo got destroyed and I lost maybe half of the bamboo privacy barrier between my house and the neighbor's but there was no other major damage on my property. What is up with your support/billing team? I have a paid subscription but my account shows I am on the free plan. I have been going back and forth with your support for over a week now and they have now gone silent. I have sent the invoice I paid, the screen shot of my account, and nothing has been resolved. The resolution of the image may be the issue from what I recall someone mentioning here before.
Try zooming in just a little bit after you upload via Suno UI, that is what solved that user's issue (and please let me know of that worked or not)

At the moment, crop is a subscriber feature #📢┃announcements message but I do not believe the song needs to be generated during sub for the feature to be used (though you cannot monetize since the base was made during the free plan)

You could ask someone with a sub to help crop it for you, assuming you want that song listed on Suno.

If you do not care for the song listing on Suno, there are lots of audio editors that can crop and use other functions like fade in/out. The simplest would be Audacity
