I put together a lyric video for the We are the Ghosts in the Machine song. This may be the third time I've remade this song but I really like how this one came out. The first time was a personal challenge the less said about the better (seriously, it was horrible) the second time I got a really unique sound that I don't think I'll ever find again. Ah yes, Luma. I made that clip with Noisee and looped it the old fashioned way in iMovie with a lot of reverses and cross dissolve transitions. Luma is nice at some stuff but I'm less and less willing to use it at current prices so I tend to do less and less with it. Thanks for the suggestion though.

I told my wife yesterday how I feel in my career and spontaneously came up with the picture of being stuck since I am driving at a decent speed and feel like I cannot shift into the next gear. As you can see from the time stamp in the song, I sent my wife to bed and started writing the lyrics for the song. I went to a couple of dozen of generations for the music style and finally settled with this one. I think the vibe of speed and some incertaintly is there. Also the fact that the male voice in the bridge and outro is taken over by the female kind of made sense (impatience). Hope you like it.

In 1996 my kids kept repeating the same meme over and over again. They thought that it was funny and it seemed to be very popular with kids in general at the time. Even though the Internet does not provide me with the exact wording my kids used, the general phrasing (which varies greatly) seems to have originated as far back as the 1980's and is often attributed to a Usenet group. Here are the words my children were saying , " Crazy? I was crazy once.
They put me in a mayonaise jar.
It was cold. I died.
They buried me.
There were worms.
They tickled me.
They drove me crazy!" The words don't rhyme or anything but once I discovered Suno about a month ago I started supplying Sumo with some free prose samples such as this. Suno creates such a variety of versions that I can't decide which ones I like the best. I made 7 different versions public in English and then used Google Translate to create the wording for 2 versions each of Spanish and Portuguese as well! Every version is very unique and interesting! actually looks like you are still working it. This version is better imo.

I would tweak the lyrics a tiny bit too. Just to make them flow a tiny bit better.

Like “i dont care na na na” could be a subtle different “i dont care now na na” it makes the lyric a bit more dismissive to the subject and it hits a tiny bit harder.

Also true: it’s pretty great as-is and I don’t know nothing! Lol
