I will tell you what. It is not what I usually listen to. Still you got clear vocals which is actually hard to get
If I had to criticise is that the transition from the intro to the beat could be faster.
Second thing is innate to SUNO. It sticks to a style and does not change the style or upgrade it in the middle of the song.
One way to fix that is to add stuff like (...) or

I want to change sounds up like a modern pop / hip-hop song with sampling. obv we can kind of do that with extend but it's really hard to get it back to the original rhythm / melody / style atm.

You have to still remember it is about luck. You have to get

  • a good roll for the AI getting a good idea
  • actually having good vocals (I just add clear vocals in the style somewhere by default)
    I noticed actually having good lyrics and lyrics that allow you to sing them evenly helps.
    If your row size varies a lot, then the AI cannot get a good idea about how to sing that throughout the whole song.
    That is why stupid stuff like this actually works

Two cool ideas:

  • Make it create an instrumental only track and if you find a good one, extend it and that is how you start the song.
  • put good styles you prefer closer to the start than the end of the style and put pauses every two verses or choirs giving it the impression that you care about instrumentals.

for line sizes, i'm not sure though. I have seen people drop paragraphs in with no punctuation and suno picks it up so I'm still playing around tyring to figure that bit out. Do you find it actually matters? I find when i run into trouble is when i'm off-beat with my lines and the word choices don't keep beat properly.

For this one, the sound and vocals were pretty great - so i went back as far as I could to extend and still keep the beat.

It has left me stuck with the slow open. I typically use non-word vocalizations like "unh unh yeah" but ... in this case ... i'm now stuck with them (until suno allows trimming the top of the song)

I need to start putting [instrumentals] in my opening to increase the chance i can hook on to a beat without being stuck with lyrics i don't want.

If your verses cannot be sung with a reliable rythm then it kinda gets confused too.
