the song is based on the lore of a world I created in a Pen and Paper game a couple of years ago:

A black dragon has conquered the world, and those who get to live, lead miserable lives as slaves to his cult until one day a group of heroes with sacred weapons starts to fight the darkness and goes on a suicide mission to kick the dragon's ass.

This is their song.
