Lool, I've just hit 3rd place on frontpage less than 15h after making it public.

I really wonder who made the original, which is arguably 90% of the reason my extended version is successful as well. I only wrote the third verse and played around with the generations until I liked it. The synthesizer solo and outro was also only like 20 tries. Total work was less than 2 hours.

I've been on this planet a long, long time, always played instruments, always written songs and composed music. There have been detractors along every stage of music, putting down the latest technology and saying it's not "real" music.
Hmmmm. The same type of people say it about art, about literature, you name it, they put it down! Music is for entertainment, whatever the genre, and as long as people enjoy listening to a piece of music then it has achieved the purpose of the composer/producer.
Suno is giving so many people the opportunity to produce music that entertains and I applaud the developers for doing so.
What is the problem with the way it is produced? The producer still needs to understand which buttons to press, how to feed the machine, what to do with the end result.
Some great music will be produced by Suno, in fact, many people here have already produced some excellent tracks (me included!!!). I've produced my best music ever, thanks to Suno.
I respect everyone on here for what they are doing and I will put down any detractors of Suno or AI 😀

Anyone know how to get the AI to repeat a line from early in the song, in the same voice, melody, timing, etc.? Example: A line at 0:30, then the same line again at 3:00. It seems like the AI doesn't "listen back" that far when generating the line at 3:00, so it regenerates the line in a different voice, etc. It actually seems like any gap of instrumentals greater than about 1 minute, and the AI struggles to remember the voice it used before. (V3) Any advice appreciated. 🙏

The other way to do it is much more hit or miss. You can try to find very precise style prompts (typically using more words and more unique words) that have a good chance of recreating the same thing, even if separated by a lot of time. This works a bit for voices, less well for melodies and other things, but sometimes a little bit. Generally don't recommend this method, until you get a lot more experience with prompts anyway. Easy way to burn through credits fast.

For some reason, no other song has given me nearly as many problems as this one to complete, despite the relatively simple genre. It took over 30 generations to make it stop being annoyingly repetitive, random, or noisy, and even then, I'm not perfectly happy with the results. Still catchy, though:
